Being a 15 year old, i have seen vapes in my own school being used right in the middle of classes, and other students finding it funny and inspiring that the teacher doesn't notice it.
I was forced too, to "try it once" in peer pressure but didn't, and the fact all this happened in 9th grade is even worse.

I am 41yrs old. I am proud and Happy being Non-Smoker and Non Alcoholic ever. Of course I exercise regularly, I play Cricket and am as Fit as any late 20s youth💪 Most importantly, I have control over my Mind.
I am 20 yrs old and haven't smoked any cigarettes nor consumed alcohol in my life time and , I'm proud of it . All the credit goes to my parents .

I hated smoking and drinking so much that I started to reject my friends proposal for such things as I hated such things. My preference is always staying away from smoking and drinking even if someone creates a peer pressure

Edit-For those who think I will start smoking, for their information, I studied Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras, and none of my other roommates smoke or drink. Therefore, I will definitely not start smoking. Moreover, here in the hostel, if you are caught red-handed engaging in such activities on campus, you will be rusticated.

My grandfather was a smoker. He had both his legs amputated due to DVT which caused his legs to rot. He died from complications. It made a strong impression on me.

As a 19 yr old i've never smoked/vaped, and i have a small group of friends, & most of them dont do that stuff either...and the few that do, have never tried to force me to 'try it once', Km dost hain but acche dost hain. Choose your friends and ppl you surround yourself with carefully.
i am 18 years old i used to smoke under peer pressure in 11th class and occasionally drank at bday parties but now i am more than 100 days clean and also stopped eating non veg and started following my dharam😊

This issue needed to be addressed among the teenagers cuz i have seen many of my friends who vape to look cool and even my younger brother is engaged with such type of people (his friends of the same age)who vape do hookah drink rum my brother is 16 years old and he does all of that sometimes i really want him to change his company and leave things like this i make sure he watches your video so he realises what he has been doing all the time and quit it cuz if he continues soon it will become a real bad habit thanks again for addressing this issue

Don't become part of smokers culture. Some of your friends will ask you take a puff but never do that because they want you to be in the same trap. Thank you for making such a detailed video about this. I am a 30-year-old Indian living in the US (moved here 4.5 years ago), and I agree - Vaping is frighteningly common, especially amongst Indians who've moved here from India.
I have never smoked anything (cigs, weed or e-cigs) in my life, and I don't even consume any alcohol whatsoever. I thought that should ideally be very common, but I now realize that I have LITERALLY never met any other person (especially men) my age who doesn't drink or smoke. I stand out on every party I ever go to cuz of this fact, and that's such a sad reality

10 years ago me and my smoke buddy at work decided to quit smoking. Never "tried" a vape. It always smelled fishy to me. I went cold turkey and he took up e-cigs and was also tryng to convince me to switch in case I have cravings. He is still vaping and smoking I quit permanently. I had instances in the beginning and throughout these 10 years where I badly craved a smoke and I had cheat smokes once or twice a year but I made sure I did not continue it as a habit and I succeeded. I told myself I am not a smoker. Vaping only makes the habit worse. If you want to quit just quit it and if you feel like smoking have one or two real cigarettes occasionally and dont beat yourself up. Alternatives will only make it worse for you.
I started smoking when I was 21. I quit when I was 33. Thanks to Andrew Huberman for making this happen.

@@ihave2enemies Two years of exercising, meditation, dieting, walking 10kms a day, Cold water shower (up to the neck) twice a day, going to Vipassana courses once a year, and occasionally using nicotine patches. I tried to understand how addiction works, how bad habits stick to us easily and good habits are hard to achieve. This was a two year journey to take care of my mental and physical health, which had gone south because of covid, I knew that I had to quit smoking if I wanted to feel normal again. And I took it upon myself like a full time job to take care of myself. And, all the while I was watching or listening to Andrew Huberman's podcasts. he helped me understand the mechanism behind addiction, and that in return helped me to dismantle it.

I m glad I rejected gape when I was a kid, My classmate of 8th class used to vape, he once told me that vaping is totally healthy and your parents won't find out,see how cool it is to make rings with smoke. As my parents already warned me about it, I didn't vape that time and I didn't became an addict.

As a 9th grader I can confirm that this vaping issue is way common than ppl think it is, almost half of the people in my class have tried vapes atleast once and it is associated with being "popular" or "cool" I have even been offered to try it but I didn't and the worse part is even 7th and 8th graders have tried vapes

I waited for the whole vid but you didn't mention a crucial point. Countries like uk are specifically promoting vapes not only that they are subsidizing them as well. If aren't aware read about it. Completely agree. Even the lung injuries reported by vaping otherwise known as EVALI is caused by vape liquid that have THC and Vitamin E Acetate. Normal nicotine or nicotine free liquid have no health hazards.

After 15 years of heavy smoking vape helped me to quit cigarette. It has been 8 months I haven't light a single cigarette. It doesn't mean non smokers start vaping but it's actually the other way around, smokers who wants to quit with strong conviction may switch to vaping by going cold turkey on cigarettes.

vaping is really spreading in India my topper friend in school who is just 14 years old is vaping with his brothers I Tried to tell him not too continue vaping but he still vaped and also put in his whatsap status in my school many people my age (14) have started vaping and some even smoke (like 2-3 in school) but they dont realize that it is harmful to them and their body . and I really respect people like him spreading awareness in our society.
