Yes Terry plays the piano with great respect and dignity in the church, he is a truly good and talented man.
It's not really a 'gift'. Nobody is 'given' the ability to play an instrument well. If you want to learn to play, get some lessons and do it.
@@BalloonRace yes I agree, but there are many factors like some child will play a tune on first experience with a piano and then its nurture and practice practice practice, whereas others can only go so far, there are portrait artists and others like me that can only paint matchstick men. So that's what I mean that some have it more in their DNA than others, not everyone can be Mozart or Beethoven, it's just that extra thing going I think you are born with

the more i watch of these videos i find myself conviced i was born in the wong time. i should have been born back in the days when this kinda music was birthed. i can feel the energy and flow/joy of the music and am soothed by it
Your search paid off in many aspects ! First made us people's day but I guess yours too ! Plus it paid polite respect to the musicphile pub owners who care about tradition and pianos as magnificent instruments. Then its a joy to watch all the journey though the picteresque UK land and its fine pubs. On top of that its great to listen to the various piano sound timbres all over those pubs ( what a cannon that of the BLACK SWAN) . Cheers from Athens !

As a brit now living near Little Rock in Arkansas I have to say your videos bring a tear to my eye - the one thing I miss about UK is the lovely pubs and I also love old churches - I used to make stained glass windows as a hobby - Thank you Terry

Love the first clip, completely empty room and within 3 mins a crowd surrounding him, absolutely brilliant. Look at the happy faces, people enjoying the boogie woogie, just fabulous. Pickering is a nice place, I used to go Mountain Biking near there at Dalby Forest. The barlady at the Black Swan seems to be enjoying it Terry, !!

Sad lack of pianos and piano players in local pubs! Someone should start a quest to match up unwanted pianos to pubs (there's always loads of free pianos on gumtree). Keep up the good work Terry, great video as always.
