The piano player was playing from his heart, it was contagious - the woman who started the dancing was lifted by his music, she's a great dancer - amazing that so many good dancers joined in. Then watching to the end, can see that it might have been choreographed, but still has that spontaneous feel.
id say they were some dance troupe, they clearly knew each other, but it was great

@@annethomson4920 No, when you do that dance, you learn certain patterns and then you can dance with anyone.
Also, it's a dance that when one person starts a move, the other person feeds off of it.
And... the last part had 2 dances that everyone learns... the big apple (the one when everyone was in a circle), and the last one --I know it too, but can't remember the name... but its always done at every function that does that particular dance.
So... it's not likely that it was choreographed, but it is likely that they all dance in the same dance community on a regular basis.

What some call 'sexualized' others just simply call dancing. Being able to move every body part usually doesn't mean anything sexual to the dancers, only to the lookers on that cannot move the same way. Because in the 40s, this kind of dancing came from the same group as the dancers in the vid, and was called 'sexualized' then too.
Honestly that was so enjoyable to watch it was priceless. I had just as much enjoyment watching them as they had . thank all of you, I loved it.

They are not strangers. It’s a flash mob. The dance is choreographed and there cameras at many angles filming them. It took lots of planning 😂

They were not strangers. The dancers all knew the same steps. This was planned. Its easy to see. Like a another poster suggested its a flash mob.
They watched and vied off of each other like jazz musicians.
Haven’t seen this much natural joy in a long time. The pianist was fantastic and I swear the dancers were from theater or Broadway. What a lovely moment
It looked like a couple had taken some swing dance classes and the rest were quick studies. Must have been so much fun to watch.
And Mr Miles travels with his own flashmob to bring a ray of light into a dismal time. Excellent!

I'm 70 years old , on O2 with a fractured ankle and use a walker. I'm alone at home. Still I kicked up my good leg and rolled around my apartment swinging my skinny bottom to the beat. What a blast! Thank you!

I remember when my friends and I used lto break into spontaneous dance with the street musicians in Vancouver way back when.
This brings back a wealth of beautiful memories.

This is wonderful on so many levels. Strangers coming together through music and having fun. Reminds me of the scene in the Blue's Brother's when they are at Rays Music Exchange (Ray Charles, what a legend) playing and everyone is outside dancing and having a great time.. Love this...
