Georgia and Balkans are basicly the same thing. We have very very similiar culture, beacouse we have all been influenced and invaded by the same empires throught history.
Came to watch a video about the hood, ended up watching a video about a chill neighborhood/community with a nice vibe, that looks like they're doing the best with what they've got. All while this cold-weather-adapted man appears to be melting, like a Russian ice cream cone in the warm Georgian weather.

I was checking no buses going to your Georgia only the Georgia US. Thanks for sharing. Now lets go to see what regular people eat in Georgia.
If Rubel is worth 0,00 you can basically walk in there with any amount of any currency and demand an infinite amount of Rubel. When everything (hopefully soon) goes back to normal and Putin is impaled in the middle of the red square you're gonna be ballin' rich dude :D Something tells me though that this is not actually how it works ^^
The ruble actually has now recovered to pre invasion levels. Absurd, but the hypocrisy of europe behind the sanctions is finally showing, germany and a other countries still buying russian gas. Congrats to those who doubled their money tho.
Losing my phone happened to me, too, sir. I got a crossbody wallet and I have the wallet under a shirt or two to encourage myself to leave it in the wallet until I get home. I also have an Apple Watch and I play a game like Pathways during my commute, that’s my whole world while riding public transit, just me and Pathways. Sometimes 20 minutes here and 40 minutes there is a little agonizing to not be able to reply to messages or play games directly on my phone, but you gotta do what you gotta do for yourself.
OH MY GOD, I REMEMBER THOSE 8:40 We had a lot of those in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Things going to the sides had actual LEDs inside them, these were.. Fireworks? I think. You can still see them in some places in the city, these lines have been smacked and thrown rocks at, so it looks like a palm with droopy leaves. But at some points these were powered and had the LED lights coming from a center to the edge imitating fireworks
12:12 my georgian grandma had one of those in her old house and idk why those exist, i suppose it was supposed to be a balcony but was not finished or something but yeah i mean it is kinda weird, the house was on a very low floor (not on a building) it was like a 2 story building-is thing i guess and we were on the 1st floor with that balcony-ish thing and when you would walk out you could see the road in literal jumping distance like you could jump down, and i would sometimes actually do that even tho it did hurt sometimes bc i fell instead of jumping, but i think that is definetly not the intention of that thing
Isn't there a door like this in the Beetlejuice movie? Like isn't there a scene where there's a door in the house that drops out into a vast desert with scary giant worms. Or maybe I suffer from False Memory Disease, or Mandela phenomenon (Berenstein bears), in which case I apologize. I have misremembered movies before.
It's just an unfinished balcony. Small balconies because those are the cheapest with small cantilevers. Those cantilevers run wild out the wall as they build up, then they are supposed to finish the envelope but they never did. If you look at the finished balcony on the top left, it almost looks DIY with a window pane as the front ballisters, some upright material and pallet wood or ship lap for the sub floor. It's pretty janky but works. I feel like the builders just stopped building when they finished the envelope but didnt finish the balconies so it's now up to the home owner to finish it if they want one.
Romam, you have come a long way from the past. I just watched your video when you were drunk and demolished the toilet. Thank you for your videos, they are are very informative and interesting
I have to disappoint u guys - "hoods" in Tbilisi are just normal residential areas. Nothing special, just boring Soviet style residential areas. And there is zero chance anything bad would happen to anyone any time of the day. Unless u are "begging" for trouble.
Man, Kaczyński's St. gives so much shivers down my spine, before obvious incident he's given a speech in Georgia saying about Russian's threat when whole western world would just laugh at his rhetorics. And look where we are now...
Its actually scary when you think about the fact that a country that started as an average thing, constantly expanded, mostly through force, and enforced their culture, architecture, beliefs eveeywhere they went, outliving the ottomans or romans, and coming with a new society model to rival monarchy and democracy, without having that many resources to pull it off, but managing it somehow with guts. That was Russia for the past 500+ years, while now they are slowly degrading to the power of a small country that they would have just pulled in back in the past, remember these guys went as far as having half of Germany in the west and giving China a dose of influence along with controlling most of Asia

You are an amazing human being & as one of those who has long enjoyed your videos, it does my heart good to see you continue to thrive. Fondly, from Canada, Juliet 🍁🧡💛🕊☮
DAMN! We had the EXACT same boatlike swings in Bulgaria when I was a kid(~30 years ago), so yeah they are at least 40 years old :D
Georgia and Balkans are basicly the same thing. We have very very similiar culture, beacouse we have all been influenced and invaded by the same empires throught history.
@@wierdo-jc7xv i would say that georgia feels more eastern european than bulgaria even though some people don't even consider it european
Came to watch a video about the hood, ended up watching a video about a chill neighborhood/community with a nice vibe, that looks like they're doing the best with what they've got.
All while this cold-weather-adapted man appears to be melting, like a Russian ice cream cone in the warm Georgian weather.
Roman, you should go find some Georgian skateboarders to hang out with! I'd LOVE to see him following local skaters around spot hopping like this, that'd be sick!
I've only met one Georgian person. He was the best and ill never forget how he went above and beyond to help me with something really important. I wish I still had his number because even now, 3 years later I still want to thank him.
Awesome content, Roman, as usual. Hope all is going well for you in Georgia. Looking forward to learning more about the country!
The Georgian staircase was culture shock to me for sure, The climate and the Sovietness of Georgia make me feel like I would fit in there easily
Looking forward to the day when Roman does a walkabout in a big American city like NYC or LA and entertains us with his observational banter. It'll be epic, dude.
Roman, you are really doing a great job. Thank you for continuing to share with us and best of luck.
Roman! So glad you are enjoying Tbilisi! Have you been to Stalin's underground printing house? I was there a few years ago, the place was a bit in need of repair and was being looked after by an old guy who used to lead the georgian communist party. Nevertheless it was an absolute goldmine for amazing soviet memorabilia, hope that the place is still there and being looked after. Would make an amazing video for sure :-)
Love that you joined up with a local and another You Tuber. It was interesting to see these areas.
This georgia content is for sure banging honestly :D The vibe of the videos deffo been shifting for better
Damn Roman is the happiest he's been in years. Also Georgia looks dope.
Great video Roman, Georgia looks like a good place. Even the hood looks safe and clean.
that's because it's Tbilisi. i wouldn't walk like that alone at night in the hoods outside of Tbilisi.
Having to acclimatize from the Urals to the southern Caucasus right as winter turns to spring has got to be a bit intense. As a Canadian, I understand how you feel, sweating and burning in that sun on concrete, haha.
Can't wait to see more videos of Georgia!
Gigi seems like a super chill dude!
Dude I was literally gonna suggest you make a video with Gattsu since he lives in Tbilisi. Glad to see it.
Everywhere has rough areas. Georgia looks awesome in my opinion.
the colors pop so hard in this vid. even georgia slums are gorgeous
Good to see you doing well Roman, Georgia had extreme animosity towards Putin before it was cool.
palm trees basically grow anywhere you plant them :D fun video dude !
i know the park is abandoned but they’re looking for it pretty good actually. not a single piece of trash, grass is trimmed. looks nice and clean. working parks in small russian towns would look a lot worse, sadly
As soon as I heard you were in Georgia I have been waiting for you and Gattsu to link up!
I'm happy to see you smiling bro.
Bro I’m so stoked to see you thriving man 🍻
We know you're a city-boy, but please also show us a Botanical Garden, an olde car museum, a zoo, Tunnels?, a swimming lake, a working Farm, a Mtn. Tram? and a riding stable... and Yes, Roman, put on boots and get on a safe horse and canter!! (well, maybe not canter, but walk happily down the trail : )
I love the way Gigi laughing, it makes me laugh too
Fun blog! Best wishes from Florida hope things settle down In Europe!
you can help by stopping to buy Russian oil
@@Ast151 The U.S already Has a larger amount of oil produced domestically.
This was cool walk for me in my AC. Love this vicarious walk about seeing real life. I love staying away from the tourist dives and seeing how people really live. Exploring is in my blood. It has that old vibe like a history walk that I always find interesting. People are interesting no matter where you go. Fun all the way around. I was checking no buses going to your Georgia only the Georgia US. Thanks for sharing. Now lets go to see what regular people eat in Georgia.
If Rubel is worth 0,00 you can basically walk in there with any amount of any currency and demand an infinite amount of Rubel. When everything (hopefully soon) goes back to normal and Putin is impaled in the middle of the red square you're gonna be ballin' rich dude :D
Something tells me though that this is not actually how it works ^^
The ruble actually has now recovered to pre invasion levels. Absurd, but the hypocrisy of europe behind the sanctions is finally showing, germany and a other countries still buying russian gas. Congrats to those who doubled their money tho.
Infinite money glitch?????????????
You will not get it
@@mazamazahacker7034 No shit Sherlock ^^
Roman, I love your videos, your laugh, thank you also for the video about the R Army and mandatory enlistment, very informative in this current time.
I wish the world was together we could accomplish a lot of things. War is just a waste of time and tragic.
Enjoyed the video. I'm learning some things about Georgia.
Gigi seems like a super good guy. His personality made me smile. 🙂
Gattsu is the goat
YOOOOOOO You got Gattsu, the Drain Gang connoisseur. Love his content
Good news from Prague - new leadership of the city got rid with the most scamy exchange points, so now the chance for fair exchange is pretty high.
so glad for this collab gattsu is so funny
Losing my phone happened to me, too, sir. I got a crossbody wallet and I have the wallet under a shirt or two to encourage myself to leave it in the wallet until I get home. I also have an Apple Watch and I play a game like Pathways during my commute, that’s my whole world while riding public transit, just me and Pathways. Sometimes 20 minutes here and 40 minutes there is a little agonizing to not be able to reply to messages or play games directly on my phone, but you gotta do what you gotta do for yourself.
Gattsu x nfkrz nfkrz always collabing with all my favorite Soviet tubers
This is such a DRAINED collab
Stoked for Roman -in these trying times, at least his channel is doing better than ever!
OH MY GOD, I REMEMBER THOSE 8:40
We had a lot of those in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Good job on linking Gigi's channel in the description or pinned comment.
@@robertjenkins6132 yes it does remind me of those movie scenes where they open the door and there is like a chamber with a pool of sharks or guns
@@robertjenkins6132 There is also one in that jackie chan movie they filmed in AUS lol
I feel like the builders just stopped building when they finished the envelope but didnt finish the balconies so it's now up to the home owner to finish it if they want one.
the doors on the back so you can jump out of the apartment when the black volga shows up
Love these new style of videos! Keep them coming!
Gattsu lol, this is what he looks like I would have never imagined. Nothing but love for Gattsu
I appreciate you getting back into into the grind bro
That bandit radio in every vlog intro is CRUCIAL for that russian feel.
They were real "hoods" during Soviet time and later in 90-s. Today just relatively cheap residential areas were nothing extraordinary happens anymore. Thanks God. And there is zero chance anything bad would happen to anyone any time of the day. Unless u are "begging" for trouble.
Getting back to normal thanks for the video
Love these videos the most.
Just glad to see Roman so happy and relaxed now lol. This is great for him and us as his fans!
I really want to visit Georgia one day. So much cool history, great wine and food.
Great tour Roman, and thank you too Gigi!
Man, Kaczyński's St. gives so much shivers down my spine, before obvious incident he's given a speech in Georgia saying about Russian's threat when whole western world would just laugh at his rhetorics. And look where we are now...
Your looking great and you seem so much happier I’m so pleased you and doing well xx New Zealand x
Eastern Europe is feeling this real hard, cheers from Hungary!
Thanks for the vid, Roman. Tbilisi looks like a nice place.
This shit was funny man. Fascinating insight also. Big Daddy Gigi Gattsu is cool.
woah dude, roman is so tall! look at him compared to gattsu
