I think the 9015 is a good looking movement. Has a tough agricultural look. Definitely better than most seiko lower to mid grade movements. Great video my friend. 👍🏼
Miyota 9039 is the best movement in 2020. No date and high accuracy, while low maintenance and cheap replacement cost. Nice video for those who are confused about movements! Anyway, your english is totally good. Clear voiced and proper grammar. Keep it up! Edit: Typo
My first impression on the Miyota 9039 is that it blows my mind how incredibly accurate this movement is. I believe these can be tuned to almost perfection. Got one recently in a Kuoe that went off -3 sec the first couple of days or so and it's been spot on for days now. That's winded once a day and stored face up in a box, but still amazing, I still can't believe a cheap mass produced movement can stay spot on for several days in a row these days. Maybe I just got lucky with this one. The price of gold get to go up to 50k just to justify buying a high end watch.
ETA 2824-2 is available in 4 grades. You are talking about the Standard grade here, but ETA movements also come in Elaboré, Top and Chronometre , COSC certified grades. Chronometre grade movements are only made available to watch manufacturers , but Elaboré and Top grades are sold retail to those who want one. Top grade is identical to Chronometre grade, both have the Glucydur balance ,Anachron hairspring and Incabloc shock protection, but Top grade has not been submitted to COSC for certification.
Right? If you consider a dive watch for example, to me it makes a lot more sense to have the 9015 in there with it's tooly mechanical vibe than the 2824 with it's luxury gold vibe
A more fair comparison would be 2824 Vs 9015 Then powermatic 80 Vs NH35 or the NH35 with a bigger power reserve (forgot the name) I think decoration does not matter and you can't tell material by the finish, finish is only important on the surfaces of where interacting parts meet with the exclusion of the balance that can look rough but if poised well is great. For the money the Rolex movement is just not worth it and it's not a 3rd party (was in the past) 2824 is an old movement with handwinding problems but is the gold standard for movements. Chinese clones made by Hangzhou and HKPT can be just as good if the QC is decent and they are less likely to get a handwind problem and the PT5000 even getting a certification stricter than cosc. The NH35/6/8/9 that I can buy for 21usd or less and factory's can buy for probably 18 or 19 is amazing value and if ajusted can be very accurate it's the same as the SR35 they are all made in Malaysia or China and I'm sure the ones in Seiko watches are from the same place but marked made in Japan and Seiko same with the longer power reserve on 1000 USD+ watches as made in Japan same with most or all parts apart from maybe dial hands or lume. The NH34 is very overpriced as the demand is high but it's just an altered nh36 but the day wheel has been removed and with and with some gears from the day mechanism making one full rotation a week one full rotation a day to a 4th pinion. Every micro brand under the sun will have a GMT and they will be closer to nh36 prices when things calm but they seem to be less accurate. Personally I prefer Orients 3rd party movements as they are made in Japan and are better in every way over the nh30 series. The new and old miyota 8000 series are great, they come in many forms and can be crazy accurate and are made in Japan the newer versions have hacking. Seiko uses the magic lever to be bidirectional but it wears out and on bi directional winding autos. On a bi the rotor has to move at least 25 degrees or more (with it increasing over time for movements with the magi lever) to start winding with uni as soon as it turns it's winding m. The miyota 9000 series in my opinion is one of the best movements out their, if any noise a drop of silicone watchmakers oil stops it, they can be crazy accurate and the only thing I dislike about them is the fact they have no micro ajust screw, this movement is a brand new ground up design using the latest tech, materials and knowladge, it cost alot to develop and while it looks boring, miyota wanted thin, accurate, reliable.by m means ugly and your brand could have a nice rotor and put pearlage in the movement. This movement is so good that 1 Swiss brand uses the 9015 or 9039, put a more heavy rotor in it and decorated it (not sure if that can make it Swiss made) as they found it to be the best movement base. In my opinion the best 3rd party movements are the miyota 9000 series and the ETA/stellita 2892/3 For 21600bph It would be a Orient or miyota top grade.
Best because they are dirt cheap and reliable. I still prefer the 9000 series over most seiko movements because they are thinner and they have a higher beat rate.

Woow spot on Bro.. very informative indeed. This video is for watch enthusiasts around the world! Hello world.. we are also Indonesian watch lovers. Nice 2 meet u all! Though we speak different languages, but we all have one in common: WE LOVE WATCHES! Yaaay! 😄
The intro of the song "You're All I Need" by *White Lion* that you've play is not bad 😁, BTW I'm an Indonesian, bro. Keep release the english version, good luck.

let's be honest guys, all that Miyota movement needs is a nice perlage and engraving something on the mass. perfect compact movement for people who like thin watches. we all have to agree that thick watches, even though some are small diameters, are too thick for many people! it's not only a matter of diameter! the ratio of the whole thing is important. this is japanese pragamatism at its finest. too much indeed.
Thanks, great information. Just brought mt first 2824-2 movement by Invicta; it's a keeper. The Sapphire Ghost Mod 2700, and I'm enjoy the honeymoon phase so much, that i order a second one. Kinda reminds me of that feeling i had brought my first Omega:-) I'm also in wait for a Invicta "Lupah" with NH35A movement; looking forward to making my own comparison... Thanks again:-)
IMO, the aesthetic of Rolex mov't is not so good for an in-house mov't of a luxury watches. That's why, I think, all of Rolex have a solid caseback for all of their perpetual movement because it's not really good to set a see through caseback with such a movement like that, I mean, like the lack of sign/inscription in their rotor for example. Of course, this is an exception for Rolex Prince with a see through caseback but not a perpetual rotor
Mantap bang bs tau bnyk tau ttg jam tangan skaligus bljar bhs inggris, klo ga repot bs dtambahi subtitle indonesia atau inggris, buat rekan2 dgn kterbatasan pendengaran... maaf. Klo trlalu bny prmintaan, regards...
Good video! I just ordered a watch with the new La Joux-Perret G100 movement. It a Swiss movement that fits watches designed for the ETA 2824 (or clone). It is hi-beat but has a 68 hour power reserve. I've heard the price is similar to a sw200. I've heard the movement was based on the Miyota 9015 and has a uni-directional rotor.
If the ETA is not top grade, don't bother was a 2824. In fact, I'd avoid any 2824 and go with a Japanese movement again. The 2824 has winding problems that just aren't worth the hassle. The ETA 2893 is a great movement, but not on this list. For me it's high end ETA, Japanese, or in-house.

Hello,i find a pagani design submariner wich have this movement, miyota 8215, this watch has had the seiko nh35 but for a while pagani switch to this miyota...anyway, it is a good and trust movement? It is reliable,or the seiko nh35 is better and reliable than miyota?
hello..I need help..can you show me the background Replacement watch for Miyota 9015 ... i want to insert this automatic movement instead of Asia clone 8500 in Omega clone..please answer ... on my Recplacement they are in the background two needles not suitable for 9015 ... what to do
Informative film, very interesting. I have two of the Sellita SW200 (ETA 2824) & two NH-35A's, they're all good time keepers within +/- 7 secs per day. The most accurate one I own is one of the NH-35A's which averages
If all of these movements were maintained exactly the same ( same servicing intervals ), would they all be comparable in terms of longevity? or would the Rolex last longer? ( I'm comparing this to cars eg. Toyotas tend to last well over 100,000km with maintanence; cars such a Mercedes don't necessarily last longer ).
NH35 is like Toyota and Rolex is like Ferrari. I mean, Ferrari engine breaks easier than Toyota engine. The Best movement is NH movement for actually daily use.

Here is the flaw in your analysis.....Rolex do not use exhibition case backs for any of their watch lines. I agree the movement is well engineered and looks beautiful. Japanese brand Miyota sell the movement as is allowing the micro brand buyer to decorate mostly the self winding rotor. The metals used between all brands are near identical and I find it insulting that you accuse Miyota or others of using inferior metals in their movement builds. That was a stupid thing to say. Seiko watches have many releases with a clear back but mostly the other brand of movements rarely exhibit their respective movements. Of more importance is their performance and the case shape and finish together with an aesthetically pleasing dial.
Thank you for your video. Caliber ETA 2824 comes in different grades and there is one (the top grade) which is officially certified chronometer by COSC.
Why rolex movement is so much more expensive? Because rolex wants to make huge fat margins... and why not since there are consumers willing to overpay.... haha
True, every ''luxury'' brand has to make the price high. Not just in watches, same thing on luxury cars. They have a very small and limited amount of customers, therefore they have to make bigger margins, to make a profit. And brands that have a billion customers can make the margins lower because they have such a huge customer pool. A good example is Rolex Submarine and Invicta pro driver. Rolex is 8k and uses their own movement, Invicta is 100$ and uses Seiko NH35A Movement. I'm not saying that those 2 watches are identical, but it's a pretty good example of how 2 VERY similar watches can have such a huge price difference because of the Branding.
Better crown and stem water proofing specs, easy to work on and super accurate, better internal materials parachron hairspring, easy to adjust, best out of this bunch by a little I would say, but 3135 will outlive you
Seiko epson is not a movement. Seiko epson means: its a seiko watch. The movement you have inside the watch will be on the case back , you have to look for the serial number that describes the movement that is inside the case. An it will be on the bottom of the dial. Get a jewlers loupe to read it .
Bagi pendatang baru yg nggak baca deskripsi : versi bahasa indonesia udah pernah dibahas juga kok. Cek di sini => th-cam.com/video/rL6VfUJTv2M/w-d-xo.html
Putting in comparison Rolex movement and Nh35 is totally unfair , and it leads to wrong conclusion. Its like comparing apples and bananas , these movements are not in the same league . Seiko has movements that can blow away all swiss movements . You should compare the same classes of movements next time.
La comparativa no es gusta por que seiko tiene calibres de manufactura 8l y 9s y eta 2892 y alguno modificado para longines están comparando ferraris con mercedes. Con renaul

The NH35 might not be the best looking or best finished movement but it is the most reliable and robust movement I have ever owned.
yes proven to be robust...
Out of the 4 above, its the least reliable.
@@Supacrazyguy yeah... for $50... you shouldn't expect it to be reliable anyway... but 1/4 of the ETA price.

그러나 스위스 ETA는 스와치 그룹의 제한정책으로 이제 Repair용도의 무브먼트 파츠조차 구할 수 없게 될것이 자명해 보입니다.
Waaaahh... Go interntional nih. 😁

Better crown and stem water proofing specs, easy to work on and super accurate, better internal materials parachron hairspring, easy to adjust, best out of this bunch by a little I would say, but 3135 will outlive you
The movement of my Casio watch is a Japanese Miyota, does this mean my watch is original or not

The movement in my watch is Seiko Epson. Does anyone know anything about this movement?
Seiko epson is not a movement. Seiko epson means: its a seiko watch. The movement you have inside the watch will be on the case back , you have to look for the serial number that describes the movement that is inside the case. An it will be on the bottom of the dial. Get a jewlers loupe to read it .
Which seiko model do you have?. I can help you know which movement you have.
Japan Vs Swiss... made in China.

thank u brooo
Putting in comparison Rolex movement and Nh35 is totally unfair , and it leads to wrong conclusion. Its like comparing apples and bananas , these movements are not in the same league . Seiko has movements that can blow away all swiss movements . You should compare the same classes of movements next time.
La comparativa no es gusta por que seiko tiene calibres de manufactura 8l y 9s y eta 2892 y alguno modificado para longines están comparando ferraris con mercedes. Con renaul
Kerennn.. lebih jelas English 😂
