Literally the first thing I thought when I saw Lance's spin was "he's gonna be alright, he can easily get around the gravel back on track". Guess that's not what he was thinking.
Am I really the only one who can see that he did this on purpose? Not the accident, but the walk through gravel. What about those rumors that appeared last year that he communicated to his father at least two times that he's fed up with racing and wants to leave the team?
It becomes even more obvious when the engineer audio is sync'd with his onboard properly. He initially rolls back puts the brake on and complains about locking up. His engineer tells him it's okay, put it in reverse. Then he drives forward and turns into straight into the gravel.
If that rumor is true we're in for a great post career retrospective in 2039 or whatever year someone at Aston martin finally notices that Stroll sucks and is a burden on the team.
People talk about every incident? The reason this one is especially notable is because it goes beyond being a bad driver. A lot of people wouldn’t drive better than Stroll in an F1 car (not that that means he deserves his seat). But THIS? I can confidently say in his position my choice wouldn’t have been driving straight into the gravel trap lol
@@ahmadzahraniAAZ to be fair, for most of his driving career he's been driving through the "no gravel traps, tarmac EVERYTHING" era, so he didn't need to think about getting stuck in it. In the recent years gravel's been returning to tracks, so he got stuck.
Like a certain ladderman said "THERE'S AN ESCAPE ROAD LANCE!!".
THERE. WAS. AN. ESCAPE. ROAD!
It was Stroll's best race as he didnt ruin the race of anybody else
this WOULD be the final nail in the coffin for stroll....
keyword is would...

Commenting for the algorithm
Playing in the gravel pit won't give you any extra points.
Nice
Either his dad is too dumb or he just doesn't care that Lance is just dead weight for the team.
How is this the incident that everyone is talking about? Of all the things he did.

This has to be intentional.
If not, Stroll should be tested for mental issues, because not even a normal driver would have done this mistakr.

It’s on the formation lap, which is extremely stupid, but idk if it tops slamming into the back of Daniel Ricciardo behind the safety car
