    Francisco my man!!! I've never thought to even look at accessing the passenger side thru the wheel well cover. Everybody takes the battery, battery tray, air filter housing and disconnects the electronics from the top side. I can reach the drivers side because I'm tall, but you have saved the day with your passenger side video. Thanks and bless you!

    Very easy to change the exhaust manifolds on the 3.8, I would replace the pair. That is a nice looking part.

    How likely is it that I could break a bolt in the engine block ? It’s the only thing that would make me bring the Jeep to a garage instead of doing it myself...

    I bought the same kit.
    It was a pain in the ass.
    Cylinder number six the exhaust port. It was the size of a dime..
    How to take a long tungsten carbine bit and grind it completely out so I can have exhaust flow. Not sure how they’re gonna hold up, but I guess you get what you pay for.

    Easier to just take the entire fender off, not just the liner.

    What was the sound the Jeep was making for you to notice your manifold was bad? I’m hearing a ticking sound coming from my passenger side and this is what I suspect is the problem…was yours making a ticking sound?

    • @coopdog8
      @coopdog8 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Did you ever fix the ticking noise via replacing your manifold? My 2007 Jk is making a loud clicking noise and I am looking to replace the manifold. Thanks in advance.

      @@coopdog8 as crazy as this sounds…no I didn’t replace the manifold…an old timer told me he thought it was a rocker arm that went bad…told me to change my oil to pennzoil platinum full synthetic…and the noise should be gone by the time my next oil change after that was due…son of a bitch he was right!!! It got rid of my engine tick!!!

    Those cheap aftermarket headers failed big time. Worst upgrade you can do to the jk 3.8. They’ll melt your wires and warp your valve covers from the extreme heat. And then they’ll crack and make you wish you had never strayed from stock.

      I am planing to do the same thing to my 2011 jeep only am thinking about cast iron AFE manifolds on mine but I was going to get them ceramic coated by a shop so it runs cooler in the engine bay That way it wont melt the wires
