So good that you show the sound three differents ways inside, outside and accelaration. Nice job for the wrangler. Can’t tell is the best but I got a soft spot for the Borla.
I did an aFe muffler delete on my 23 with the manual (which means I got the 3.6) and can't be happier!! 😎 It really sounded a lot better than I was expecting, no rasp or angry bees. I just wanted more volume for cheap, and was just expecting decent tone, from my research. But it's got a nice deep humming growl but isn't obnoxious which surprised me, and you really can control it with your foot. Plus having a manual you get all those sweet rumbles!!! 😁😁😁😁
A really nice presentation! My fleet has 3 suv's with 6 cylinders. In many areas, 85db is the limit before a ticket. My '96 Jeep ZJ and my '23 Jeep JLU have stock systems for now. My '03 Ford Explorer has JBA ceramic coated headers and a Flowmaster 70 series Big Block HD muffler. My father-in-law referred to the Explorer as my Ferrari. Sound tested at under 85db under 4k rpm in nuetral. On the road under a load, the numbers may be higher. But the sound is sweet. The ZJ is my overland adventure vehicle for now. But I am planning on refreshing the engine and transmission. Ceramic coated headers are also planned. I like the sporty 6 cylinder sound, but am looking for stealth. As sleeping cops don't write tickets! The JLU was primarily bought for my wife as a daily driver. And to pull behind her '18 Ram 2500 4wd 6.7L beast that hauls our 4 Wheel Camper. So the JLU will be the last to be modified for sound.
I'm assuming borla has shorter xs muffler would probably still have the sound and be able to bring the volume up cause that muffler was huge. Think he said it was an 18 inch body and 22 inch overall (way to big imo).
Muffler delete on the wrangler sounds raspy. Flowmaster on the wrangler sounds a bit quiet, and borla sounds really deep in the tone to be honest, so borla wins from me
Ive done a muffler delete on my jk. It sounds better in person. There is a rasp with deep tones at times depending on rpms. Then i put it back on. Got tired.of hearing the constant droning on the hoghway
Folks, first Jeep was a 3.8 liter OHV engine, other two were 3.6 DOHC engines. The 3.8 liter 07-11 didn't have a factory resonator, just catalytic converters and a muffler. The 3.6 liter 12-18 had a factory resonator. It's tough to make a V-6 sound good IMO, especially these. Exhaust tips on a Jeep Wrangler should be tucked up high, not hanging down like these. The shotty welding, crooked tips, etc should be more concerning than the sound. Workman here isn't very good.
I have Magnaflows system on my Ram Off-Road edition and they sound amazing. Now trying to find a system for 2018 JK.. Borla stuff is normally really good.
I want mine completed straight pipe with true dual but no one will do it cause it’s gonna be loud and won’t pass inspection but Tennessee ain’t far from me
Magna flow is the best for the 3.6 and single high tuck for offroad. Duals are just going to get ripped off and a true dual you lose torque, not enough back pressure.
The first gets a thumbs down. The Pentastar V6s do not sound good loud. Thumbs up to the Flowmaster and Borla setups for keeping it on the mild side. To those calling the second and third Jeeps "ricer", looks like they are using them for want they were designed for. The term does not qualify in these cases.
They all sound good but I’m a fan of the muffler delete!
Same
Borla is a little quiet for me. I like its deep sound though. I think the Flowmaster is my personal favorite, good mix of tone and volume.
That's because that Borla Muffler isn't tuned for that engine it's a universal muffler
Flowmaster ftw
I’m surprised that they didn’t offer the Flowmaster Outlaw. Best muffler for my Jeep!
The Borla sounded great. Hopefully the customer got a discount on it. Those exhaust tips are horridly uneven.
lol you just had to say it
So good that you show the sound three differents ways inside, outside and accelaration. Nice job for the wrangler. Can’t tell is the best but I got a soft spot for the Borla.
Flownsster sounds the best

Am I the only one who noticed the duals on the borla set up are off center
All you “pentastar” comments are killin me 😂. Been jeepin long? The 3.6L Pentastar didn’t come in the wrangler until 2012. 07-11 is the 3.8L
I have a 2013 with the 3.6 you are wrong
@@jamess7681 wrong about what? I said the 3.6 came in the wrangler starting in 2012. Yours is a 13. So…. 🤷🏼♂️
@@jamess7681 lmao!! Bizarro bizarro
We have an 07 with a 3.6?
@@lauchlanstill6677 nah. Better look again.
Muffler delete sounds awesome. I might have to do that to my ‘08.
Borla for the win. Take that 4" tip off the delete, it will sound better.

I like the volume from the muffler delete but I prefer how deep the borla is. Now need a way to combine the two
I'm assuming borla has shorter xs muffler would probably still have the sound and be able to bring the volume up cause that muffler was huge. Think he said it was an 18 inch body and 22 inch overall (way to big imo).

The Borla sounded the best !!
I liked the 1st and 3rd ones. The second one I didn't care for.
Love the sound of the Borla muffler.
Every jeep , with a quarter of a tank left in this video 😂
Borla for me! Thanks!

I would never let these guys do work for me
@@ThorOdinson-zc2kq damn lol

The muffler delete sounds the best
I agree, muffler delete all the way!!! I have it, love it, and to me, it is the only real voice. Everything else is just overly muffled.
YES
I like the rectangular tips. Can hardly hear the mufflers with the nearby traffic in the background.
5:32
“so deep I love it”😂😂😭
Noted 😂🏃🏻♂️
😏
The Borla sounds the nicest to me.
I want that on mine. Just got a 2014 manual today
On the flow master jeep. The tips are crooked and its driving me nuts lol
What bumper system on the rear of the Blue and Gray Jeep?
Muffler delete for the win!!🎉
07-11 is the 3.8 pushrod not the 3.6 dual over head cam
Wouldn't be a wrangler if there wasnt one with wheel sensor problems (second Jeep)
Loop delete and muffler delete sounds nice but gets that drone on highway
I would love to know what exhaust I should get for my Jeep 😔
How much would it cost to get the borla system on my 21 Wrangler unlimited 3.6l?
Hello, do you need to reflash? How does this affect power and fuel consumption?
Anyone know how the drone is on the Flowmaster setup? Seems like it has a nice sound
Muffler delete on a ‘95 wrangler thoughts?
Flowmaster 100%! Thnx!
I want to see “Redeemd” after the death wobble hits. Crazy offset !
Would that be the death wobble of the entire planet earth
So many conspiracies around that out there
I want mine completed straight pipe with true dual but no one will do it cause it’s gonna be loud and won’t pass inspection but Tennessee ain’t far from me
Come on down, we would love to hook you up
Excellent video!!! Definitely what I was looking for. Going with Borla!
Though all 3 sounds great…
Muffler delete best
Really nice but you should worry about the welding
Magna flow is the best for the 3.6 and single high tuck for offroad. Duals are just going to get ripped off and a true dual you lose torque, not enough back pressure.
I agree with Magnaflows! I have them on my non-MDS Hemi Ram and they sound amazing! I've been considering them for the JK too.

True test is when you have the top off all summer.
Flowmaster
Is it legal to get a muffler delete in pa?
No, you will get a $10,000 fine and 25 years in prison.
It's funny how the "riced" jeep is the only one actually used as a jeep. Still, not a fan of the pentarasp sound.
theyre a v6 so
Does it cause check engine to stay forever ?
No they still have cats
Borla for me
the exits on that last one...Yikes!
Beautiful tip that's what she said 😆 🤣
Borla
*"Pantystars gone wild!"*
Love the Channel especially the muscle car's 🚗 🔥 burning out👍🌟👍🌟Good 🌅☕car's n☕time for another cup✌😁
6:41 7:17 Riced out Jeeps. PITIFUL!! Looks & sounds like shit!!!
#3 Borla had decent sound & didn't look like it was an Ebay fiasco!
Sound like m4
resonator delete
Muffler Delete by a country mile
The guy yelling is louder than the exhaust. Relax buddy.
All three wasted their money. You aren't going to make the Pentastar V6 sound good.
V6 sounds like shit.
This sounds terrible
Agree
IF you had used the Borla tuned for that engine it would have sounded even better
