      soy affects men badly. many seeds and legumes have lectins and saponins that are also bad for the stomach. only thing i found useful was the idea of soaking walnuts before eating.

    Carbohydrates to Protein Ratio in Moong/ Chana Is Roughly 2.5:1 which is for every gram of protein you will get 2.5gm of carbohydrates therefore it shouldn’t be classified as a rich protein source.
    Also protein from moong/chana/rajma etc is not complete protein which means it does not have all the amino acids which are required by the body.

  • @angiemunsey363
    @angiemunsey363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hey y'all, it's also my understanding that mixing legumes and grains or nuts and grain create a complete protein. In both there are enough amino acids and some other acids. Annnnd, they don't even have to be in the same meal, just the same day, or something like that. 🙂

    Great protein ideas, especially sprouts! There are, however, folks who cannot tolerate soy or dairy and for them tofu (soy product) and paneer (dairy) may not suit. For those who can tolerate dairy, whole milk yoghurt or dahi and kefir are good sources of protein and they contain healthy probiotics which are good for digestion. All time favorites, ghee added to beans with hand-pounded rice and dal-roti for those who can tolerate gluten.

    none of the sources are lean protein.
    that means most of them also consist of carbohydrates and fat along with protein.
    it'll will be very difficult to get enough protein while loosing fat, as to keep calories low.
    soya chunks and whey are best in my opinion. also above food sources can be used as per need.
