Man.... I just laughed so hard when you combined Milwaukee & Makita into Milkita. In my country Indonesia, Milkita is a brand of milk candy. XD And their tagline is 7 pieces of Milkita equal a glass of milk.
yes the second colorway "cool kid/skater kid" clashing neon pops on natural or off-white background was so 90s, it is back, baby! and put a grid on a monochrome shirt in a cool colorway and i want to buy it.... more gridlines on shirts now!
I actually reall like the minimal ones 7:25 😂 You could totally do a part two by combining more logos from other types of companies like soft drinks or cereal brands
Finally Zimri is designing again, after 2 years! Loved the shed renovation too, but I’m starting out in my graphic design career right now so this is so cool - who knows, maybe there’ll even be another season of DCC or more YGR? For my portfolio, I’ve actually just finished my take on the Subway on Mars design challenge from DCC S2 (still my favorite series on this channel), I might be 3.5 years late but it was so much fun and I’m so happy with the result! Keep up the design content Zim, you are an awesome inspiration and your positive energy is so contagious! 😍

Hey Zimri, great to have you back! But just one small thing. I don't know if it's just me, but I think the lighting of the new videos is a bit too dark. It would be nice for it to have the similar brightness to the older ones. That being said, I'm looking forward to the next design videos! 😄

hey man yeah! I totally agree, it makes an echo, but I don't know how to do it cause when I put it up, it covers like 30% of my screen so I can't see what i'm doing. I think if I lift the monitor I could have the microphone the correct way :) Thank you for the feedback man, appreciate you!

Idea 3: Design a logo using different mediums/ time contraints/ Idea 4: Create nonsense logos/ posters/ brands, put them in public places. Idea 5: Get the friendly neighbourhood doggies to choose the best logo.
These are awesome logos to NEVER COME TO EXISTENCE haha, but yea the Milwaukee logo is the GOAT of all tool brands for sure. You should make this a series and call it "LogoSmash" and then we could have a LogoSmash design tournament (like super mario smash) and get design chickens to design a logo smash of two things you'd determine, round-robin style and then see who the LogoSmash Campionesssss is!! 🏆
You should have made Milkita with the M from Makita since it is the strong point of the original logo ! And THAT my friend, would have slapped ! Sadly I cant try it out. Anyway thank you aligator, as usual, it was a pleasure :)
Bosch in rent/utilities is a violation! The logo depicts an AC-Motor commonly used in all sorts of drilling tools, how cool is that? Yeah, letter mark is probably Frutiger, doesn't get more German than that, but its at least rollerblades-tier
Craftsman in free pizza. HILTI is great european brand from Lichtenstein. If I would know more about them before I discovered Milwaukee - I would go with Hilti here in Europe. Yes, Milwaukee logo is masterpiece! Pure power! :D
I stay away from Ryobi! Bought a Ryobi luggage for my Miami trip 2012. Okay, it was really turbulent on the way back, but my luggage was literally falling apart when I collected it. 😦
