This is so cool! Thank-you Mikey 🙌. I have had a vintage crochet blanket my great Aunt Kass made several years ago. No one ever knew even if it was crochet as she did both. Now I know and I can replicate the stitch. Thanks so much🌟!
    Luv yah💕

When you got to the end with the purple you did 5 then pulled together. Then you said chain one. You turn and you say chain one again before you do a single crochet. Is this correct? I mean the two chain ones.... Before you turned at the end.... And again before you do your single crochet.

Hi, I have an Afghan that my great aunt crocheted for my grandmother that looks very similar to your pattern. I have been searching for the stitch because I would like to learn how to make the same blanket. I don't know if this is what she used but thank you for the tutorial. It is the closest I have seen.

Do you have a written pattern for the Catherine's Wave Stitch? I need to take the pattern to my Crochet class, and I don't have a computer there!
    Thanks!

Mickey, hope I spelled your name right ... Maybe you could use the Catherine Wave stitch to design a beanie?

i tried it with a 3mm hook, but the pattern is full of holes. does anyone knows the reason? is it the hook that is small or my knitting needs to be more tight?

I love these videos but some of you all talk entirely tooooooo much about some unnecessary things. just simply state what you are going to do, show it and do it and move on to the next step. thanks
