I love your tutorials! You give exactly enough information to learn the stitch. If I don't get it the first time I can go back.
The other day I was learning a lovely stitch from someone else and she kept repeating how to do a double crochet every time ( there were 10 per stitch and she did four repeats!). My husband said, "if I hear that voice say "yarn over and pull through one more time I am going to scream". That's when I had to go find my headset.

I was able to follow step by step of how to make Puff Spike. Actually it is fun making them, over and over and the pattern does show. I was glad you didn't crochet fast showing where the next stitch go and so on. I may not memorize well but I had to keep going back to where the next stitch should go so to make sure where the next stitch should go, etc. You mentioned in the beginning, to go over 2 stitches to the left and place a piece of yarn through to make a mark where the SC will go at the end of making the Spike. I did that but when I was ready to SC in that stitch 'mark', I could not get to it. I did push back all the 11 strands tight and SC them together, I just could not get to that 'mark' stitch to SC there, so had to choose the next stitch over, left to make the SC. I crochet another Spike and again I had trouble getting into that stitch. I am an experienced knitter and crochet but not a pro. I sort of made up of how many SC I could create between the Spikes and when I reach to the end of the row, the counts will be different on SC but nothing that anybody cannot see or tell what I did was wrong. What did I went wrong here? I don't know how many times I watch your video of making sure the counts was right. I'll follow again watching your video once more but I can now make the spike in my head and it's enjoyable. Thank you. I'll be visiting your other video on Shell making as I am deciding which pattern to make on a baby blanket. Thank you for your time and talents.

So, Medicare doesn't pay for everything and it looks like I will be scrounging used yarn wherever I can find it. I like your channel though. Can I still watch it even if I can't afford to donate?
