Omg thank you so much for the tips to make brighter! I just bought and was underwhelmed with how dim it was but as soon as i changed the settings in ECO it’s got more vivid and brighter.
We bought the 58" Samsung 7000 UHD TV from Best Buy last week, because we wanted to have all our favorite new streaming apps easily accessible via the TV (the iPad mirroring had stopped working on our 6-year old Samsung 55" inch HD). We have been so dismayed to find out that the picture was far dimmer and less sharp than our older Samsung! I just learned from your video about turning off the ECO functions (which I would have never guessed) and that helped a lot, as well as boosting the brightness, contrast, and color controls way up. It's still not as sharp as our previous HD TV, but at least it's a lot closer. Thanks for your explanation about the "nits" and power drains of all the apps--who knew?

Thank you for this review, I just got the 55 inch, quick question, how do I disable the background samsung tv playing, I'd like to just have the screen with the apps?
Thank you.
Does it have sports mode on the remote? Thank you
Hi, Im about to buy a new 55" and Im not sure if I should go for IPS LG UN7000 or VA Samsung TU7000 screen?
Im with the same doubt, but I think I'm going with the Samsung, I like screens with deep blacks and I think I'm going to notice the ips panel with its weak blacks, only thing that I'm going to miss out is the magic control
Great video. How do you change the order of the apps or remove unused apps from the home hub.
Long press the enter button on the apps not needed and you get a option to move or delete.
@@melclarke2408 Thank you for the information. It worked a treat 👍👍👍👍
I have a Samsung 50" TU7000 smart TV how do you hookup Apple TV device, Soundbar, and gaming box? where do one get and find a multiple HDMI splitter?

Samsung TU7000 vs LG UP7000
First time here...I definitely subscribed!!!
Welcome
Great video Steve. I was thinking of grabbing the 70”. Am I able to watch xfinity on the app through the house wireless network without a cable box ? I already have two cable box. I really don’t want a third box. I do have the app on my phone and it work perfectly.
Whats your opinion on the vizio D series 40" 1080p full array led HD smart tv? Would u reccomend it?
Can you hook a firestick up to this tv? If yes…how?
Plug in the HDMI dongle
What I've done with my last 2 tvs when buying them is either calibrate them by using a disk like Disney's calibration disc I forget the name or just Google the TV for calibration settings. Makes the picture so much better.
I can't shut off the voice command. Every time I put menu up scroll down, I get mumble from the sound bite reading what I'm scrolling. Any advice appreciated. Must have hit a simple click not realizing it changed , didn't have problem before

I just bought the 70inch. It’s a nice middle between 65 and 75
One thing if you'd mind covering some in tv reviews is the sound quality. I'm a little deaf, so I'm always trying for a tv with fantastic sound quality and a lot of reviews never hit on that.
Just bought the series X and was looking for a new tv , can’t wait to get this one
Did you ever get one?
@@dalebanks1353 got a Hisense tv instead as it offers Dolby vision
So the HDMI port on top is 2.1 compatible? Or they’re both 2.0
Only for audio
Can you please tell me how far from each edge do the legs mount for the stand? My current tv has the X-stand mounted in the middle. I have a corner tv stand and I'm not sure it's going to work. Thank you!
Hi tech Steve. Compared to the RU7100, which is the better choice? They both have similar features so I'm unsure of which to get.
It’s up to you, I would by a the newer model
Thanks alot. Your reviews are awesome 👌
Since the HDR nits is so low, do you recommend using SDR? Im using this TV primarily for ps5 gaming.
YES
This tv it comes with any older wall mount adapters to be able to placed in the wall?

@@TechSteve Yes!!
Loved this video.
Thanks
I order this tv right now, im so excited to see it
Feedback please
Hey Steve I just purchased yesterday I have an old antenna what kind can I up grade to. And I also had Roku stick can I use it on this tv. Thanks
Just try it 1st, you can use and device with an HDMI output but if it’s not 4K I would just use the TV apps
Thanks for the 2nd review on this. I appreciate it!
You're welcome
Hi Steve good stuff. Do you know of or can you suggest a good HDMI Cable to connect from the Cable Box to this Samsung TV. I use a Direct TV Cable Box.
Unless you have a 4K cable box, I don't think you will see any difference. I don't use cable boxes anymore th-cam.com/video/4axmVlawdhw/w-d-xo.html
trying to decide between this and a ultrawide, for productivity and myb lite gaming in the future. which would you choose...? I hardly watch TV and will mainly be using it as monitor. cost doesn't matter..
I wouldn’t buy a TVs as a full time monitor. I tried it and you have to sit far away, there’s no stand by mode. And the pixel are not as clean to me.
@@TechSteve thanks
Great video. Is there a way to remove the "On Now" menu that pops up on the home screen? There are channels that I am not interested in and they keep showing up. I'd love to remove "On Now" or send it to the bottom. I can't figure out how to edit the home screen.
Thanks for the content. I just purchased this Tv today… I’d love to get some info on your choice for a HDMI splitter. Thanks!!
I just got this tv yesterday was very excited ! Just 1 question how do u set screen saver i noticed it dosnt have ambient mode.
Are you sure it’s not the AU8000? Because the removed it on the newer model
