0:40 Get up from the bed!
1:19 Do what you would do if you weren't feeling anxious. The presence of anxiety should not stop you. Bring the feelings with you - the goal is unimportance not elimination of anxiety.

Can’t get up at 2am! Is deep breathing and accepting the anxiety okay in the wee hours? Works for me.

It can, but what would help the most is dialing down the FEAR of the symptoms. The DARE response and a mindset of acceptance and allowance is key. Know that the symptoms are just uncomfortable, not dangerous, so there's no reason to worry about them. The more fear you have and the more focus you put on them, the more your brain will register them as a threat, and keep them going. And in time, the subconscious will believe you are safe, and the symptoms will fade away.

Remember, the symptom doesn’t matter. You just let it happen and move on. Stopping to treat your symptoms is giving it credibility. DARE is about letting symptoms happen without giving them credibility. Shaking legs one day, sweating the next, chest pain, numbness, shortness of breath, etc.. it’s all the same.
