Christine, Your work truly inspired me to be a better Realtor. I've watched and listened to a lot of training/ videos. And no one has inspired me the way you did. Thank you for reminding us that sales is a Win, Win, Win...Your success is solidly founded on "courage" and your ability to think in pictures and talk in stories. I pray you continue to touch more people and make a lasting impact in their life!
Hi Rhonda, my deepest apologies for not seeing this message over three years ago now. My life got fairly complicated back then with a second diagnosis of cancer (after 20+ years of being cancer-free), but all is well, and I'm happy this is all behind me now. I wish you the very best, and thank you again for writing to me! Warmest wishes, Christine

I sometimes jump to your vids because my youtube knows you well and loves you as I do. Thank you for your most powerful knowledge. Your power is now my power.
Christine, you are awesome, so much respect to you! I like your message and I like the way you deliver it! You will overcome the cancer just the way you overcome other things in your life!
Hi Malaika, Since this video was made, I got and survived cancer again! But I am celebrating 25+ years of being a survivor. Life is grand. All my best, Christine
Hi Christine. Thank you for taking us on a journey of discovery. I was searching for a way to put together a presentation/sales pitch for a product my team would like to be developed which lead me to your videos. I was struggling with how (and why) to engage the panel by incorporating stories into the pitch without losing the focus on the product. Watching you speak has been a revelation and provided the clarity I'd been lacking. Thank you. Thank you also for raising awareness of, support and funding for the fight against cancer. While I am blessed never to have walked in those particular shoes, members of my family and friends have. Like you, it is my cause.
I have been a door to door salesman for over 16 years and this video is very inspiring! This has made me to examine and strengthen my weak areas and encouraged me to be more optimistic and to tell "my story " when engaging with a prospective customer. Thank you so much ! You are an amazing and talented woman! God bless you always!!!
Hi Ronald, I am always encouraged when my work inspires others. Thanks for watching, and for commenting as well. Good luck to you, and God bless you, too! Warmest wishes, Christine
Just found your channel and love it, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us Christine, much appreciated. And very glad to hear from other comments that you are doing well health wise. 🙏🏻 The previous talk I listened to was from 2012, the one w you wearing the red hot dress 😄🔥 Loved the short hair 😄 Anyway I'm getting sidetracked for some reason 😁 Will be watching more of yours and refreshing my sales skills, even us sales veterans can keep learning something new every day, right? Mine was your three R's today. Blessings and all the best 🙏🏻
Christine, I’m not sure how or why, but I came across your videos today and was blessed. I hope all is well. Thank you for sharing your light to the world.
Hi Michael, Thank you so much for writing to me. All is well in my life, and I hope for you as well. Happy holidays, and don't forget to laugh! Warmest wishes, Christine
Mrs. Clifford your videos have truly inspired me to push forward with all of my ideas and have erased all of my doubts. When you spoke on leading with your story and not the products highlights, that really opened things up for me. Now when I meet with a prospect I'm selling myself just as much as my product. Thanks for all your contributions!!!!
Thank you for your kind comments. I am always thrilled when my work inspires someone to be a better salesperson. Good luck with your career and in life. Best wishes, Christine
What an amazing woman you are. Full of energy, power and will. I´m sure you are stronger than this skin bacterial and the cancer. Thank a lot for sharing this post with all of us. The last 5 minutes I felt like it was a addressed to me. Now I know what I must do. Thank again, God Bless you.
Wow..I was greatly encouraged by this talk. You stories were so finely woven into the talk and I was glued to your presentation. I'm at the "fork" you mentioned and trying really hard to move forward and to triumph at the end. The win-win-win makes lot of sense! Keep being strong and I pray with you and for you. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Hello, Luisa. Can you please forgive me for not responding to your message over four years ago now? I got side-lined with a diagnosis of cancer which took me about three years to fight. I am now cancer-free and doing wonderfully well. Thank you so much for your kind words, and for carrying my book in your book store! I hope I get the chance to come by and sign your copies one of these days! Cheers, Christine
Christine , Hats off to the purpose you are working . Great. As i am also working on my life purpose of inspiring, educating and empowering younger generation to dream big live big with purpose & passion. I am also getting so many " No " while approaching the authorities of schools and college to partner with them for training their students . I am doing this by leaving my job in a full swing . My dream is to see youngsters all over the world working on their life purpose , passion , big dreams that will change the world rather than looking for a secured job . Youngsters must look for the problems to solve in society rather than demanding jobs from government with security benefits. Advice me on how i can pitch my purpose more effectively to the authorities of schools and colleges. I philosophy is " We should be ashamed to die until we have made some major contribution to humankind - said by Horace mann. Got really inspired by your story and teachings. Once again thanks to you -Its me ANANDRAJ , Founder & Trainer - Institute of Aptitude & Management Excellence
Hi Anandraj, Thank you for your very kind comments. You, too, sound like a person who inspires and encourages others, and focusing on youth is a wonderful thing. I'm afraid I'd have to know a lot more to offer you any concrete advice. There may be something in your "pitch" that is allowing people to say "No," or something in what you're offering. Hard to say with limited knowledge. But I encourage you to keep refining your skills and learning whatever and whenever you can. Good luck to you! Warmest wishes, Christine
Hello, Anandraj, I am so, so sorry that I never saw your message all those years ago. Please accept my apologies. I love what you're doing and hope that life has treated you well these past four years. Happy holidays! Warmest wishes, Christine
Christine your presentation resonated with me like angels hanging over my head playing my favorite song which happens to be Go Away Little Girl. This song is anchored in my memory from days when I had nothing to do in life as most 1-2 year olds. My mother's name is Christine who transitioned over 3 years ago. I was working as a collections representative for 13 years at the time of her passing. Each day she would talk me into my office which was about a 30 minute drive and back which was about 60 minutes. I lost my mind and my sense of being no longer having her and I left that job not old enough to retire knowing I would have to find someway to sustain my 6 children. I accepted an offer to do door to door sales. My thoughts were I want to be a speaker and this field would be an opportunity similar to free college classes to my learning this field. One year later I am struggling and need help. I am buying your book today. I will be seeking you out in hopes of finding myself. Thank You!
+Lartharie Morgan Hi Lartharie, Thank you for sharing your story with me. I hope my book helps, but if you need more, I'd be happy to consult with you to make your dream of becoming a speaker come true. Good luck to you!
Hi Ms. Mentally Fit! I am so, so sorry that I didn't see this message from you over two years ago. My life got fairly complicated for awhile (as it sounds yours did, too) and I had to deal with a second diagnosis of cancer. I'm now doing great, and hope that you are doing well, too. I hope my book was able to help you! Happy holidays, and don't forget to laugh! Hugs, Christine
I hope both of you are doing great here in 2019. I was seeking knowledge and encouragement for my next move toward entreprenuership. Of course i enjoyed your video....but i was also touched after reading the comments and running across these two comments. I sincerely hope that you two are doing exceptionally well!!!!!
Hi Christine I am so happy to have discovered your channel, I am from South Africa and I am a person with so much ideas in my head and have seen those ideas being fulfilled by other people simple because I do not know where to even begin to make them happen. But in your previous videos you said every one of us is born a sales person and that hit me. I hope my next comment in the near future will be about how have I progressed with at least one of my ideas. Again thank you may you continue to live to inspire human kind.
6:20 as an introvert I made a killing doing door to door canvassing for a non-profit. She gets it half right. Open the sale not with the price, not with the product, but with the story. As a buyer being confronted with an extravert seller, yes I will thaw to their story. As the seller, I listened before I spoke. So we opened with a story, only not mine. Theirs. Then I found common ground. (Somehow I am able to do that consistently and quickly, at a core belief level, no matter the religious or political leanings). Of course my limitation was this approach works one to one only, whereas hers is suited for mass distribution. The most challenging encounter I had was when a woman answered the door and just as I broke ground with her, her husband stepped up behind her, not wanting the conversation to continue, perhaps biased against the inevitable sales pitch. Tho that was not a given with me. I appealed to their values and once they were fired up to take action I was ready with options to choose from, from signing a petition, to writing a letter, to paying a membership fee to join the organization. In that case I couldn't appeal to them both at the same time. His priority was clearly getting his wife away from my influence, and I deferred to his authority and politely moved on. I counted that a win if I was able to diffuse a hostile situation and give a positive impression despite strong prejudice against what I represented. Anyway, as an intuitive introvert that level of observation and long-term vision is what made me an unexpected success. However I was selling based on beliefs (the Jehovah's Witnesses would love me) and I dont know that it would translate to vacuum cleaners. Moral: if you have a product or service that inspires, buck traditional wisdom and hire and train introverts. If you can convince them that is. Good luck.
Thanks for writing to me, and for sharing your story. I agree with you: Introverts can be extremely powerful, especially one on one. Good luck to you. Warmest wishes, Christine
Hey Christine, First of all congratulations for surviving the cancer and combating it like a warrior. You are doing awesome job by uploading these videos. These are the source of my lessons which I need badly for marketing and sales. I liked your 3 R's- Retreat, Re-evaluate and Re-approach. God Bless! Warm Regards, Ankit Jha
Christy I watch this over and over. The greatest problem I always have is clients not coming to the presentation without money and the next day all the sizzles, benefits have evaporated and they won't come back to pay.
Its an amazing video which tells you what it needs to be successful in life. It is quite enlightening. If someone follows even half of what she tells in the video, the person would be on top of his field. thank you very much for posting these videos online.
Hello, Arun, I apologize for not seeing your message over four years ago. I was diagnosed with cancer back then (for the second time) and spent several years undergoing treatments. I'm now cancer-free, and doing well. I hope that everything in your life is going well, too. Take care, and don't forget to laugh! Warmest wishes, Christine
Hi Bob, What a nice note, thank you. It's been well over a year, but my journey with breast cancer continues. I appreciate your good wishes, and I also wish you the very best!
At some point soon, your cancer will part ways from your life's journey. Your intelligence, skills and beauty will continue to follow you wherever you go. Life is good to you! :)
Bob McCall Yes, Bob, life has been very good to me. I've been battling (or thriving is a word I like better) cancer for over twenty years now. It's a part of my life, but has given me more gifts than I could ever have imagined. Thanks again for your warm thoughts.
Hi Bob, I am so sorry I didn't see your message over three years ago now. As you could tell (from your message), I got wrapped up in my cancer diagnosis for about three years. I am now cancer-free and doing wonderfully well. I hope you are, too. Warmest wishes, Christine
Christine, I HAD to subscribe to your channel. I just stumbled on to this and listened to 3 videos. I agree with the concept of growing my box. I agree with your 4 keys, I am thinking now about who could be the third trifecta in the win/win/win and in your case, you had a cause, but could the 3rd win be the client's family, or the people they will help when they (fill in the blank). I am re-evaluating for where to develop my niche notoriety and I think I know where it should be, and now I am thinking about what I could put together for a knock-your-socks off gift to prime the pump of the prospect. I hope your high sense of self worth will once again pull you through this next round of cancer therapy. I appreciate the video postings so that those who have not heard you in person, can still hear you. I appreciate you.
Hi Trudy, wow~ I'm speechless! Thank you for your glowing testimonial! You are on the right track in terms of thinking who is the 3rd party beneficiary. It can be family, employees, a cause, many things. But it's not just about "You & Me". It's about three. Good luck to you, Trudy for continued success.
Hello, Trudy, almost four years late! I am so sorry I never saw your message all those years ago. As you could probably tell from one of my videos, my life went in a different direction after my cancer diagnosis. It took almost three years (and seven surgeries), but I finally got through everything and believe it or not, have now celebrated five additional years cancer-free (from my original diagnosis in 1994). I hope that you were able to use some of my teachings to increase your business. I wish you the very best, and thanks again for writing to me. Warmest wishes, Christine
I Just watched the Rest of this , when i started i hadnt gotten to the cancer part , i hope you are doing well praying for you , and the video was wonderful , im working on a life changing project And yout tips seem right on time!
Hi Tarz, I'm doing great! Five years out, actually-- from that 2nd diagnosis and 24 years since my first diagnosis. Life is grand, and I hope for you, too. Happy holidays, and don't forget to laugh! Cheers, Christine
Loved your content ma'am also reading your book "The Art Of Selling" It's best one honestly Basically I've startd out my business of making web applications using C# but didn't knew how to sell my service so I'm learning hope I get answer from your videos or books Thanks A Lot!!!
Christine: This weekend I am the process of deciding to leave my job in manufacturing management which is fairly safe based on my skills and competencies to a Sales Rep position in an unknown industry. Why? It is something I wanted to do for 15 yrs but was very scared to make the transition. Now, at 50yrs, that decision is in the forefront of my mind and I am about to take it, excited but apprehensive about the unknown. You know, Og Mandino mentioned life is a game and courage is essential to playing it well. Hear again, you mentioned the same theme. Wishing you the best. Thank you.
Congratulations for taking a huge step, and during the holidays, no less! You're a brave person. I wish you all the best as you take a risk to improve your life. All the best to you. Warmest wishes, Christine
Hello, I apologize for not responding to you over four years ago now. My life took a detour with a diagnosis of cancer (my 2nd time). I'm cancer-free and doing wonderfully well. Did you take the big leap? I hope your life has exceeded your expectations! Warmest wishes, Christine
I have watched and listened to all your trainings/videos for some time and I mst say it is so inspiring. Am a sales professional from Nigeria living in the UAE and I will like to take up sales training as a career teaching and sharing my skills tht I have learnt over the years is there a way you can be of help? You are a role model and I hope to be on same stage with you someday.
Christine, thank you for sharing the personal story about the challenge of breast cancer. It takes great courage, vulnerability, and most of all self confidence to stand in front of a crowd of strangers and tell that story. You've inspired me today to take more risks.
Christine, thank you so much for putting online this address, and Selling the Invisible: Four Keys to Selling Services! I believe that today destiny met me as I was preparing to write my Services and About pages for my new website (not yet launched): Military Genealogy & History. There have been areas of loss in my life and the story is just aching to be told. I have tried several other times to write my memoir, but am having difficulty with the hard parts which demand courage. The events deal with the loss of a baby who died in an accident, the loss of a baby that was put up for adoption--with whom my cousin reconnected us from DNA, the loss of a child through miscarriage, and the loss of my Dad (I'm an only child.) for whom I had started working on bringing our family tree up to date and worked back to the first ancestor to come to America. This was to be a 50th Wedding Anniversary gift for my parents, but Dad died of metastatic liver cancer, which had its origin in ocular melanoma, just two months short of their anniversary. The business I am starting is rooted in family history and military research services...trying to find the story of our ancestors, and descendants. Your talks have encouraged me to keep at it and take the big risks. I have been having difficulty believing that my services would be bought at the level you have mentioned. I've been selling myself short and I need to begin to see myself and my services as worthy of those who can afford to gladly pay for them. I would love your feedback.
Hi Eli, feeling great, thank you so much. You can contact me with my email address: christine@christineclifford.com Have a great weekend. Cheers, Christine Clifford
Thank you christine for these valuable tips. I am actually a junior sales responsible in a manufacturer of automotive wires in Morocco, as i am new in the field, i feel a little bit lost and less confident when meeting my prospects. any tips or some piece of advise to how deal with my fears also when and how many times i should call my customers. time of visits per week or per months. and how to get their attention especially that i am 23 years old!! Thanks in advance.
Hi Oualid, Thank you for your kind note. The best tips I can provide you are all available in my newest book, "Let's Close a Deal." You can order it on Amazon.com, and I'm confident it would help you. Good luck!
@@ChristineClifford Thanks very much Christine. I am believing I will succeed in my online business. I am a registered nurse and want to develop training courses online. I will really appreciate your input. God bless you. Josephine
Hi Joe, I don't know how I missed your comment over two years ago now. The answer to your question is, "Yes." But I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to work with you. I hope everything is going well in your life! Warmest wishes, Christine
Hey christine. I absolutely loved your video. I wish I could talk to you personally. You are extremely creative. How do I close a deal if I am above the client's budget. I am an event designer and I always lose a customer since I end up going above the clients budget. But honestly I my costs are so high that I cant even play much with budgets.
Hi Abdul, Thank you for writing to me, and for your very kind words. Without knowing too much about what you're doing, you must look at your costs and find a way to reduce them, or you must seek out potential clients who CAN afford what you have to sell. If it's top notch, the right people will always find the money. Good luck!
@@ChristineClifford hey christine. Thank you for getting back to me. Its definitely a pleasant surprise. Honestly, I just cant figure out how to get to those high end clients. Who have huge budgets for their events. I know I must do work that will attract them but then I dont even get clients who can potentially even cover the cost of such events...do you think I have to have an expensive showroom to be able to sell to such clients?
@@abduljalilqureshi3046 You need to ask your prospects right up front what their budget is for such an event. Then you need to decide if you can afford to work with them. If not, you have to walk away. If you're doing quality work, and getting testimonials from satisfied customers, you'll build a reputation that will attract the larger/higher end clients. Good luck to you!
@@ChristineClifford thank you once again for your reply. I am actually concerned about the method of closing a deal. Usually, I get a lead through email, then I reply to it (which I think I am doing wrong in some way since many do not reply to it) then I try talking to them over the phone and understand their vision. Following which I set up a meeting at Starbucks. At this meeting I usually have moodboard and hand drawn sketch made for my clients (which takes a lot of effort every time) and then very often the customer never bothers calling back or I have to keep calling them since they always end the meeting with let me think about it. My website is www.etherealcreators.com
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your teachings! You are an inspiration! I'd love to share your story, please tell me you're willing to do an interview. Hi Alexa, thank you so much for your very kind comments, and your interest in having me on your podcast. Why don't you email me at Christine@christineclifford.com and we can discuss. Take care, and don't forget to laugh! Warmest wishes, Christine
Hi Martins, I apologize for not seeing your comment over two years ago now. My bad! Well.. that's quite a question. My answer would be that you need to do more research ahead of meeting a prospect to screen whether they can afford to buy what you have to offer. This will save you a lot of time and unnecessary meetings. I hope you're doing well. Warmest wishes, Christine
Hi Paige, I'm alive and kicking, and happy you enjoyed one of my videos. I'm afraid I'm mostly retired now, still doing some consulting and writing. You can learn more at www.christineclifford.com. I also have some additional videos on my TH-cam channel. Best of luck to you! Christine Clifford

Christine, thank you for your professional delivery that packs so much information into such a succinct time segment. Are your books available on Audible?
Hi Vasilii, Thank you so much for watching, and for asking about my health. I have now been a six year survivor since my bout with cancer in 2013, and a 25+ year survivor since my first dance with cancer in 1994. Life is grand. I hope for you, too. Warmest wishes, Christine
hi christine... i am a telemarketer and hoping to get lots of advice , trick , suggestions etc , i have 7years of telemarketing sale experience but my current task is so complicated that my experience is really not enough for it , on the other side of the coin 7 years is not a less duration. so i dnt know why but i thing u can improve my performance... but still so far am one of the top performer (sales people needs sales and trainers need aggressive students therefore both the shop are open)

Hi Christine. Thank you for taking us on a journey of discovery. The previous talk I listened to was from 2012, the one w you wearing the red hot dress 😄🔥 Loved the short hair 😄 Anyway I'm getting sidetracked for some reason 😁 Will be watching more of yours and refreshing my sales skills, even us sales veterans can keep learning something new every day, right? Mine was your three R's today. Blessings and all the best 🙏🏻
Wow I luv her story telling
Thanks for watching! Warmest wishes, Christine
Thank you, Charles, for your good wishes, and kind words. All my best to you!

Wow! I can't say thank you enough. I'm so glad I found you.
I'm glad you did, too! Happy New Year to you! Cheers, Christine
Hi Vivian, Thank you for your glowing comments. I wish you the best as you choose the path along the cliff. Rewards are all about risk.
I love your videos as well as you book Let's Close a Deal I read it twice and I sell it in my bookstore. My best wishes for you

Amazing content Christine. I've enjoyed watching your videos.
Thank you, Herman! All my best to you, Christine
@@ChristineClifford Thank you:-) U too:-)
Christine , Hats off to the purpose you are working .

Hi SlyaM Ma, I am so glad you found me, too. I encourage you to pursue your dreams. Please keep me posted! Best wishes, Christine
God Bless!
Warm Regards,
Ankit Jha
Hi Ankit, thanks for watching and keep up your great work!
I really enjoyed watching you speak. I will definitely use the 3Rs & the power of stories in my next sales call. I hope you beat that cancer again.
Thank you, Owen. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'm still working on the cancer! Best wishes, Christine
Hi Arun, I am glad my words and knowledge have been helpful to you. Best of luck with everything you do.
Intelligence, Skills, & Beauty follow you around. I hope your surgery went well and you are doing much better...
My pleasure!
Hi Bob, I am so sorry I didn't see your message over three years ago now. As you could tell (from your message), I got wrapped up in my cancer diagnosis for about three years. I am now cancer-free and doing wonderfully well. I hope you are, too. Warmest wishes, Christine
Great presentation skill. I can see how you are sought after as a sales trainer and sales consultant. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much. I appreciate the compliment!

This weekend I am the process of deciding to leave my job in manufacturing management which is fairly safe based on my skills and competencies to a Sales Rep position in an unknown industry.

Christine, thank you for sharing the personal story about the challenge of breast cancer. It takes great courage, vulnerability, and most of all self confidence to stand in front of a crowd of strangers and tell that story. You've inspired me today to take more risks.
Hi Emmi, Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad I inspired you!
Thanks. I hope you’re feeling much better. I’ll have you in my prayers for health and wealth. I need some coaching, how can I get in touch with you

My family and I enjoy put put golf..... not the regular golf.
That's probably more fun anyway! Cheers!

CHRISTY fantastic tips, but wat happens if your client comes to sales presentation without money??
Hi Martins, I apologize for not seeing your comment over two years ago now. My bad! Well.. that's quite a question. My answer would be that you need to do more research ahead of meeting a prospect to screen whether they can afford to buy what you have to offer. This will save you a lot of time and unnecessary meetings. I hope you're doing well.
Warmest wishes, Christine
