I think im not using a long enough drop (7-8ft) and trying to put power in too soon before the weight goes outside the tip maybe? Seems to come over my right shoulder more than around my side (if that makes sense?). Just a matter of practice i think. One of these days ill get around to making a video of a few casts and uploading them for a bit of constructive criticism lol

It takes time and practice once you get use to conventional reels that will be the only one you ever will want to use they make fishing so much easier

fishing same here ian did all the tournaments casting, have my instructors badges from sea angler, but has we all get older not the same ian.
Just not got the same power in my shoulders..plenty of arthritis no power ha ha

Pendulum lot of peeing about , i very rarely use it
I do it a lot & off the ground,to get the baits out to big fish in channel.
