Apparently the commenters in this Video dont quite grasp what happened ill fill you in. He didn't have to go with them because there was no arrest warrant yet. He couldve drove down there and or call his girlfriend too because they don't have a warrant and because hes not under arrest. Which is why they asked him and let him ride up front with no handcuffs on!!!THAT being said, they found the gun in the woods near the dead teen and now the balls rolling. They're trying to get warrants on his vehicle apartment and cell phone and want him in a room to talk to him and try to get him off balance. If they had a warrant they wouldn't ask questions and request he go to speak to detecives. But they played the conversation perfectly and he knew at that moment...........he f'ed up!!! And he knew why they want to talk and it Certainly DIDN'T have nothing to do with his being a Courtesy officer!!! Either way im glad they got this sick Fu©k off the streets!!!!

No. His weapon at the crimescene would already meet the reasonable suspicion necessary for a home search in a murder case, judges sign off for less all the time. They get them to talk because the more they give up the less the DA has to fight about in court. There's no such thing as "enough evidence", they will always attempt to get as much as reasonably possible since the burden of proof is on the state, and a suspects own admissions hold considerable evidentiary weight.

The cop driving him in at 12:37 - Says he's not a "laser" guy and more of a "PC" (probable cause) guy when it comes to randomly pulling people over. That's what they're talking about. He said "I'm a tag light guy. That's my bread and butter." Come one man. Maybe go after some actual crime instead of harassing people over something petty like that. I was pulled over for having one of my two rear license plate lights out. The single light was clearly lighting up the entire plate but he still gave me a ticket. Really it was just so he could ask to search the car for no reason. He did the usual "I'll have to call the K9 to check" bluff/intimidation thing but he didn't have any legal reason to extend the stop and had to let me go. "Can I search the vehicle real quick to make sure there isn't anything in the car that shouldn't be?" me - "Sorry I don't consent to random searches sir." cop - "Well I can call in the K9 officer and have him check or I can just help ya out and check real quick. me- "Well before you do that you might want to check if you have any legal reason to extend this stop. I'm sorry to make any fuss but could you please call a supervisor or sergeant?" cop - rolls his eyes and walks back to his car to write the ticket. Then he followed me all the way home of course. It was ridiculous seeing his fake friendly demeanor vanish when I insisted on having rights. Before that I thought it was a normal/pleasant interaction.

He's a dummy. I would have NEVER gone to a police department "for questioning." No way! Had he not gone, he likely would have been acquitted.

You are correct, he is a dummy. You could see his brain swirling as they said they needed to ask questions and then that he needed to talk at headquarters.
He knew that it would be harder for him if he declined either.

The people responding are wrong or only partially correct. He spent THREE HOURS in the woods (where the body was found) looking for his lost gun. He couldn't find it and couldn't keep looking forever with his vehicle on the side of the highway and a dead body at his feet. To try and cover himself in case the police found both the body and his gun he reported his gun stolen later that day.
He was found guilty and sentenced to life plus a year in prison without parole.
Btw, if he was smart, instead of spending that time looking for the gun, he should have picked up the body and transported it somewhere else.

Maybe that planted a seed but he was born a bad seed already. Was adopted, was coddled, Could do NO wrong, was considered his mothers miracle baby, spoiled a f.
When I learned about this and it's one of the last things his fm lawyer says after the verdict is read before that video shuts off.
When I heard this, I realized oh kay well that explains whw he could just do whatever he wanted on the job and they just would talk to him and not fire him. I just got a feeling that his mother pulled strings to help them even get the job as a cop. Or there were people on the police force that thought that he a was up and coming young man on top of affirmative action, who'd been in the military reserves and blah blah blah.
No his mama can visit him in prison, raises him well mommy.
And according to what he says here you are spoiling his little brother just like you spoiled him.
