Nice one, was gonna ask you what it was like inside when it's pitched that low when I saw the video in my suggestions (I've only pitched mine at 135cm on the poles so far). My understanding from the video is: less room at each end, but I've been in worse by the looks of it. That pitch looked really good to me, considering the ground you were pitching a trekking pole tent on.
Every mid or ridge tent I've ever used has been a pig if you forget to have it zipped up before you tension owt. Always looks to better if you take 2 or 3 goes round tensioning too, rather than get each point tight as a gnat's chuff straight away.
    Cheers mush!

I'm very inexperienced with the Anaris so I'm not too knowledgeable on such things. My poles only go to 125 (Ladies poles fitted me better) so I've never had it any higher. It was certainly a learning curve and I'm sure I'll improve the speed in future attempts.
      Thanks for watching 👌

@@1982Noddin yeah, only slept in ours a couple times and perfect pitch conditions (in-laws back garden, bowling green like).
You could probably fashion extenders out of some tubing or pipe with some kind of rubber stop in one end, if you're set on using shorter poles. Think luxe make some as well, guess it depends what style pole you use. Or Trekology do some extendable ones from 110 to 135cm for about 35-40 quid. I use those, heavier than others but as I have em in my hands I count em as carried weight and not pack weight: makes me feel better 😂

@@shabingly thr poles are pretty perfect for me so I doubt I'll be replacing them.
I had my mat pushed right up to the edge and there was acres of space so I just needed to move it to have room. Interesting how the pole length influences it so much, seems perfect at 125, though the extra ventilation by going up to 135 will be perfect for summer. I just need to use it more though!
When you next out in yours pal?

@@1982Noddin yeah, the room in it is great, one of the reasons I went for it over other 2 man tents tbh. Wife and I can fit both our wide mats in (and mine is a long/wide as well) and still have head/foot room. The lack of pockets hanging in my lanky-arse face is a boon as well, I never use em anyway.
We're filling in a section of the dales highway at the end of this month (Skipton - Malham - Settle), just an overnighter. It's really to test if my knee is up for the Herriot Way we're supposed to be doing in September; I gave myself a meniscal tear in September of last year on the last day of 4 days out on my own. She wasn't happy, especially when I half jokingly asked if she could drive up from Shipley to Hawes to get me (she did not come and get me 😂). She did hear my pleas not to have to each carry half a 3 kilo 3 man tent, though. Hence the anaris.
