I am curious about how much wind, there is in the tent. I am thinking for windy and cold situations where a bit of extra warmth is nice.

Pitched the way we have there is a decent breeze coming through the tent to help in warm weather and with condensation. However, you do have the option to peg it down tighter to the ground reducing this airflow significantly. this is done by pegging down the metal loops rather than the cords on the peg points

Great vid. I'm thinking of getting this tent, always wanted a hilleberg so this might be the one as I'm doing the west highland way again next year with the misses. Have you tried it out in the scottish rain yet? How did it hold up? Have you tried it out in very bad weather like a storm? Thanks again for the vid great watch pal
Hi, its it a great 3 season tent will be fine Scottish rain. Performance in a storm may not be as good as something like an Allak 2, but there will be a sacrifice to save weight!

No i haven't made any purchase yet i just couldn't decide ha. I do have a Alpkit Kangri which I took on my last scottish highland venture and that thing is built like a tank but it's a bit heavy that's all. But I'm considering taking it again and maybe splitting the carry weight with a friend but still undecided. I'm hoping hilleberg might release another tent soon that's a little bigger than the akto but lightweight ish. I think they're probably happy with their range though so i'm not holding my breath @@Mrwillyface69

Rolls Royce quality, like all Hillies (though you sure do pay for the privilege) but I really don't think you should be pushing it as suitable for exposed UK camping. I used to live on Dartmoor and this certainly isn't the shelter I'd choose. Huge unsupported panels, very few pegging loops on the fly edge, and no mid-panel guys. Even in that mild breeze it was billowing like a sail. Catch a gale in that and you're not going to get much sleep - and you certainly don't want to risk trashing your £700 investment. For me - suited for sheltered camping only.
So its not a condensation magnet like all the other Hillebergs.
It certainly condensates far less than other models, especially when its fully vented. Sadly with a triple silicon coated fly in some conditions condensation will still occur
