      zbrush and blender autodetect UDIMs so for the most part you shouldnt have to think about it :) .. if a model uses more than one UV tile space, Zbrush will understand ... equally when exporting Blender will also understand if it see an image sequence with filename.1001 filename.1002 etc

    I have a model, that I´d set the Uvs on Blender, and export to Zbrush, then i projected the details on a high mesh object. Then I import again to Blender (via goz) and the model works fine with the lowest subdivision...al works fine, then I export the maps, but when I apply the maps on the character, they somehow seems bugged......in other times works ok, then I go and work with other mesh (other tool) when I look the mesh with displace, it seems that the displace bugged. I dont know what im doing wrong.
    Other thing, displacement map works in animation? Because this is a map of the mesh in that pose.....but when in blender I move or pose the character, I lose my displace? Or it adapts to the mesh?
    Maybe its a dumb question, but I really dont know.

      If you can work with node then , CG cookie has good tutorial on that. Or you can sculpt the eye with multi resolution modifier. You can check zbrush tutorial as references.

    I have a problem, don't know if you can help with it but when exporting the exr map from Zbrush, even though it says that it successfully exported, the file is nowhere to be seen. even when exporting again

    when i try to export displacement map my udim got deleted and it only exported 1 map it happens randomly sometimes it works sometimes it don't, any solution?

    Hello, maybe someone could help me.
    I need help with the cloth simulation, i baked the cloth with the amature on a large scale so that the cloth looks nice. This all worked but after i wanted to scale the amature with the Cloth Simulation down, that it fits in my Scene, the Cloth just started to play at the large scale again, so that the animated character had no cloth on and the cloth simulation just started by the scale of 20 in the air. How can i make this right and scale the god damn cloth down?

      Look, First Put all the objects including armature, cloth and body to a collection, then hit Shift + A and add an collection instance of the same name, then scale it down, this will work

    Just coming back to this. The weird thing I found was that the exr displacement, gives me details without evening putting the subdiv modifier on! How is that even possible? Of course with the subdiv modifier it looks better but at 90k, my model looks detailed. Weird.

      is material / shader displacement different to modifier displacement? ... i see this too and wondered the same.

      did zbrush go through the process of rendering the maps? ie taking a few minutes while freezing zbrush? Did you ensure the displacement etc is clicked and selected? Make a folder on the desktop and try to render to their.

    displacement map wont line up with model. Any fix?

      you flip the map in the multi exporter? .. Zbrush likes to render maps the wrong way by default.

      Select your Mesh Object, then go to material Tab> then under settings > Select Bump and Displacement.

    not smart. this is good for minecraft level games. but good games uses REAL geometry, not backed details, sorry. :) I will high resolution not cheap chinese solution
