I like your brother's attitude - reminds me of how I sound when I'm troubleshooting and some 'curious party' is wanting to know what's going on while I'm thinking through the process - short, curt answers. Good work in progress and success!!
I don't care what anybody says, that machine KNOWS that you are giving it love and will conduct itself accordingly. Great job, Diresta brothers and Taylor.
Instead of "Hammered" with Jimmy and John, now we need "Screwed" with Jimmy and Joe. They take old, screwed up machinery, fix it up in layman's terms for us normal guys and show us how it's really done. I think the real-life banter between Jimmy and his brothers is very reflective of how most projects go with family :) Love the content Brother Jimmy!
A machine can be mechanically perfect, but it doesn't feel "done" unless it also looks good. As we know: if you look good, you feel good. And you look marvelous! Nice job on bringing this back to life. Thanks for sharing!
Jimmy definitely has a manly, New York tough-guy appearance, but it warmed my heart to see the gentle care taken to remove the remains of the creatures that previously called this machine their home. Love and respect! :)
The hardest thing I go through after spending weeks or months or years creating something is the lack of knowledge other people have and will never know the hours of problem solving, innovation, creativity and engineering it takes to come up with a finished product, soo many things they will never see that are actually your pride and joy within that thing you built are hidden forever and only you know about it!!!! Unless you record everything on video and have a TH-cam channel lol, Jimmy Diresta you have made me a great maker again
I love witnessing the first EVER R rated version of Diresta, this bring a new level of infamy to an already awesome man. I appreciate every bit of this episode and makes me wish i had a brother!! Great job sirs. Keep up the good work.
You and your brother make a good combination. You know the mechanical stuff and how to fix things and he knows the electrical. What a great combination.
great video! your brother's tip to start off with replacing all the fuses is good. I could really do with this Case baby right now, as I need to remove 5 roots of large coconut trees, prior to laying foundation under my upcoming house in tropics. I guess I will have to do it by hand.
I so loved it when you rehabilitate a piece of equipment. I'm so proud of you Jimmy. This construction king will get used alot. Now you have equipment to handle the winter snow and lots of other stuff.
Jimmy I never seen this brother I rember the chunky one. Your brother he's a good worker but not easy to motivate, it's like he's on his time kinda thing. I liked that that's a good brother. I wish everyone a positive prosperous day.
Loved this restoration. But, after you've brought us along this far, everyone's invested. We want to see it the final fully painted restoration with epic DIRESTA graphics. Hoping for part three!
Jimmy -GREAT PROJECT! Nice job renewing some Life into that old Case -"The Diresuscitator". I love(d) those old-type, rear Lever Controls -we had many Cases while I operated in the Service. It was nice seeing another Diresta Family Member. Love you Man & what you do -thank you for sharing.
Fabulous video!!!! Amazing how a methodical approach to restoring these older machines turns them into an object of such pride and utility. So true about making them attractive enough to make you proud to maintain them to a higher standard. Keep these videos coming!!!!!!!
I fortunately got to see this in person and jimmy and his brother really did an EXCELLENT JOB on this old workhorse!!! Jimmy killed it on fixing the steps and battery box they where in really rough shape!!! Great job fellas! 💪💪💪
Cool to hear about it on the podcast and now to see it on your channel. It’s great to see two brothers working together and having fun with each other. You can use what’s called TV tuner cleaner or contact cleaner (aresol spray) to clean the switches and where the fuses plug in. It’s an electronics cleaner. Spray it and let it dry.
Great video. Holy cow what a ton of work. The bigger the vehicle, the higher the effort to repair/maintain. It's like you're working on a tank. Looks great, kudos! Mahalo for sharing! : )
7/23/22..ahh yes Mr.Diresta, very practical rehab on yur Case 'Construction King' Backhoe. Tons of hours & $$ involved in this project..& now after you & yur brother did amazing...[de-mouse-i-fication] clean/scrape/straighten/grind/weld/rewire/new fuse/air needle/prime-paint/re-glaze (unique shape glass)/over fill oil-& correct/secure hydraulic hoses/test operate then ...perfection! Great to watch/listen to this video. As always..your talents for creating/restoring are on full display. Always great to see you in the shop using your tools/equipment to 'Make'...Diresta style ! Stay safe, carry on Sir!👍👍👍💪😊🍷
Jimmy, she cleaned up real nice. Learned to operate a backhoe on a Case only a few years older than that one! Definitely do a third video. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, yes, yes! I agree wholeheartedly with you on the part about painting the machine. I notice similar thing while driving my car fresh after washing it.
This project is just too cool. I'll never look at a rusty ol' backhoe the same way again! My wife will wonder why I'm making goo-goo eyes at old derelict machines.
As always Jimmy “makes” it better! We have a Ford loader tractor at our scout camp, 1974 vintage, she’s a valuable item! We have replaced the front tires, and the hydraulic lines, a little paint here and there, LED lights. The glass is gone, from a widow maker. Thanks
I worked at the JICase factory in 69-70 . Left them for a job with AT&T . They were built to take a parachute ride from a C130 . Hope ya get her going ,most have a very long life if taken care of ! Cheers
Good point you made at the end about the paint and maintenance. Looks awesome Jimmy. quite the day and night from when you first got it. I'd love a part 3 !
Hello, I watched the 1st part and I was thinking after you mentioned that there are so many systems on these machines. They are complex machines. Thanks for the content and greetings from the NJ Bayshore.
Un vídeo corto pero intenso maestro Directa, una buena reavilitacion en familia, gracias por compartir estas épicas historias, un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón (Galicia) 🔝🤓
Hi Jimmy. That poor old machine sure went through a lot of abuse in it's former life. With all the repairs you've done, it should be good for another 30 years. If the decals/lettering is still available, it would be cool to see that all new as well. Thanks for the video!
It wasn't abuse just some neglect. Backhoes are made to be abused. Operating one is kind of abusive too. It's sort of like a carnival ride on the fritz. I remember one time we were pulling sewer grates with one using a tow chain and the hook wasn't quite right. So we decided to try to bend it some with the bucket. Man it snapped that hook like a dry twig. Over an inch thick hardened steel. Hydraulics be powerful.
GGOOD MAN!! $20 in grease will save you $10,000 in pins and parts. We have a few Case IH tractors here. One is called a Quatrac 600. It’s my favorite one to drive when my dad lets me.
@@jimmydiresta awesome Jimmy. Love watching you bring her back to life and not taking any short cuts. Can’t wait to see the finished product with Diresta stencils all over it.
Ahh ..
The Older / younger Brother dichotomy of it all, makes the small nuances of the project priceless !
Rock on Boyz 🤘🏼

That’s funny
I’d watch it
⚡️👊🏼🙏🏼✊🏻
Another outstanding job by Jimmy! Did everyone notice the respect and gratitude Jimmy showed his brother for his help? Always the perfect gentleman!

Ole Billy Crystal...Fernando Lamaz😹😹

There's no way to explain how enjoyable it's to watch and learn than thanking you.

"Done wrong on purpose!" - that's awesome. Thanks for your videos!
You and your brother make a good combination. You know the mechanical stuff and how to fix things and he knows the electrical. What a great combination.
His first step was to replace all the fuses. That is NOT what a knowledgeable person does...
Was hoping the whole time it would get a little paint, was not disappointed. Looking great!
great video!
your brother's tip to start off with replacing all the fuses is good.
I could really do with this Case baby right now, as I need to remove 5 roots of large coconut trees, prior to laying foundation under my upcoming house in tropics. I guess I will have to do it by hand.
The metal press to flatten anything is awesome, what a time saver.

You're absolutely right about fresh coat of paint and broken windows.. great video. Interested in part 3!

Your Brother is awesome... You're lucky to have him. Great job, both of you....
Do the Logos! That thing is starting to look sharp!
Oh man this is awesome! I can’t get enough of videos fixing older equipment. I love your videos fixing up your truck, these are great
Jimmy -GREAT PROJECT!

Love to see older equipment being restored!! It’s looking good!!
Fabulous video!!!! Amazing how a methodical approach to restoring these older machines turns them into an object of such pride and utility. So true about making them attractive enough to make you proud to maintain them to a higher standard. Keep these videos coming!!!!!!!
This is so beyond my skill set. I'll never own a backhoe, probably never will work with one, let alone restore one. Love this series.
Every bit of maintenance allows another future job done. Great vid once again.
THE BROTHERS ARE BACK! So very awesome after all these years. More please.
I fortunately got to see this in person and jimmy and his brother really did an EXCELLENT JOB on this old workhorse!!! Jimmy killed it on fixing the steps and battery box they where in really rough shape!!! Great job fellas! 💪💪💪
😁👊🏼⚡️❤️
OMG! I thought you and John were great together, but you and Joe are just as entertaining. I bet growing up in your household was never a dull moment.
A fabulous adventure creating a fabulous watch. Now you have your own tame yellow dragon & the power to tackle almost anything. Thank you for sharing!
Love the excitement of getting a new toy up and running
Nice work, the old girl is looking pretty snazzy, and working like she is supposed to. Y'all take care.
That was such a cool shot of you guys taking down the ceiling panel with the camera looking up!
Amazing job. What a thorough restoration. There's plenty of life left in that machine.
Cool to hear about it on the podcast and now to see it on your channel.

I enjoy doing fix-up stuff like this, but it's even more enjoyable working with friends and family. 👍
One of my favorite Diresta projects, thank you for sharing.
Loved watching the restoration Jimmy! Just adding grease to all the fittings is a 100% improvement for the mechanical functions.
I like it painted. And I agree with “pride of the machine” comments. Well done.

Mesmerising. And i love the goofy music.
Your brother started to grow on me after a while.
Haven’t watched a Diresta vid in a while. He still does a great job. The power hammer straightening was my favorite in this one. Very satisfying.
Jimmy! Make the 3rd episode. Also, show this beautiful machine as much as possible. Keep us updated.
This project is just too cool. I'll never look at a rusty ol' backhoe the same way again! My wife will wonder why I'm making goo-goo eyes at old derelict machines.
I enjoyed seeing you and your brother work together !
You Jimmied it back into working order. Painting it balances it visually. Makes it symmetrical. If not it would haunt the visually sensitive.
I really would like to see a part 3 Jimmy. You the man.

Lovin your homestead projects MR. Resta
That machine is a real beauty, Jimmy! 😃
Really fantastic work! I'm definitely looking forward a part 3!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I love all your content but this one video has everything in it! A new favorite video!
"Look at this bird shit", "no education"!! 🤣🤣🤣 "By the work, one knows the workman". Another awesome restoration for your arsenal of equipment!
Looking good J.D... Love these kind of videos....thx for bringing us along...take care my friend...
I have been waiting for this update. Thanks for delivering!
I like seeing your repair/restoration/upgrade videos, can't wait to see part 3.
One of the best backhoes ever made.
It's great to watch people who know what they're doing 👌
Yes! Thanks Jimmy! You remember? I've been hoping for this video. I can't help but to love stuff like this.
I worked at the JICase factory in 69-70 . Left them for a job with AT&T . They were built to take a parachute ride from a C130 . Hope ya get her going ,most have a very long life if taken care of ! Cheers
Good to have a big brother as part of the game plan.

Looks great Jimmy! Yours is in a bit better shape than mine!
I've been expecting this video for MONTHS! Thank you Jimmy for your work!
Your and your brother's morbid joy at discovering the mice cadavers :) Hilarious :)
Terrific work on restoring that backhoe Jimmy! That is one mean piece of machinery! 👍👍👏👏
Strange - I was wondering about this project a couple of days ago and here you are bringing us up to date.
I wish we could get a Jimmy and John diresta and rat boy reunion !!!
The good ole days I miss em !
Tonn of work done but looks so easy when done by pros. Great machine, good luck with it!
Hey Jimmy a tip for you to make the backhoe more handy for you is to instal a thumb on it sowe you can grab stuff more easily
jimmy living the dream to many of us.
Hello, I watched the 1st part and I was thinking after you mentioned that there are so many systems on these machines. They are complex machines. Thanks for the content and greetings from the NJ Bayshore.
I'm the younger brother too Jimmy and parts of this made me chuckle thinking of my own brother who's also an electronics guy.
Fun times with big machines! Looks great Jimmy.
Diresta blessing the feed with more frequent videos. I can support that!
Awesome stuff Jimmy, the backhoe is looking great! 😃👍🏻👊🏻 .... Looking forward to Part 3

Good job mister Jimmy Diresta beautifully done
Yeaa the backhoe Direstoration is back that's what I've been waitin for. Looks awesome Jimmy Thanks 👍
Looks great! Good to see it back in service
I just love these resto videos. Looking swell Jimmy.
Man I like the progress and its good to see your brother involved.

I kept squinting like the rat crap was going to get in my eyes. Awesome video man thanks from Northern California 👍
Awesome job, been waiting patiently for this 👌.

Tractor seemed a challenge. Nice job.
Nice work Jimmy. New tires on back it looks like.
i had been hoping you would continue work on this machine!
Slowly coming along nicely.👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I'd like a full 20mins of Taylor riding her scooter thing about! 💕
This reminds me of trips to the junkyard with my grandpa looking for parts cars. The dead mice didn’t bother me as much as the snake skins we found.
I was getting Raiders Of The Lost Ark vibes watching Jimmy and his brother remove that head liner!
In case you are wondering when was the part 1 of the backhoe adventure. It was one year ago almost to the day but it was worth waiting.
Yea one year ago. Exactly
@@jimmydiresta awesome Jimmy. Love watching you bring her back to life and not taking any short cuts. Can’t wait to see the finished product with Diresta stencils all over it.
I like that you still use the music from the subway. :)
Love video like this. Can't wait for part 2.
