Eric from Hand Tool Rescue is probably jealous he didn't get to do this restore with you guys. Great job Jimmy this crane will be working for the next 100 years thanks to you guys! 👍
One of the things I enjoy about your presentations is that they are always interesting and engaging, enven for things I'd never consider doing. Bravo on this one!
Beautiful restoration. Never ceases to amaze me how you take old tools/equipment and make them "new" again. Now you have a mobile shop crane for most all your needs. AWESOME!!
Raising this workhorse from the prison of Rustville is so great to watch . If anybody didn't learn something from this video then they're dead in the head. As always it was Educational and Entertaining all in one easy to follow format. Stay well to Forest , Willie and you my brother
If machinery could talk, it would speak proudly about how it had been restored to its original glory after so many years of work and unloved wear. Great video 👍
That's a beautiful piece of machinery. Wow very informative and nicely restoration Jimmy. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
Love these tool restoration videos. It’s awesome to see the craftsmanship and engineering that went into it all, thanks for sharing! Love the custom logo to by the way! From one upstate New Yorker to another, thanks for inspiring Jimmy!
Fabulous job! Must have been such a blessing & back saver for the folk who made cars & trucks with its swan neck lines & easy lifting: Robot if it’s day! Thanks for sharing!
😳😨😱 me seeing you grab the roll just after you put turbo flames on it😂🤣😂 . Again What a job ! Congrats!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you also save inheritance and i like it !
This is by far the coolest cherry picker I’ve ever seen. I don’t really get jealous over builds but I’m kinda jealous of this one and wish it was in my garage instead.
What a wonderful video Jimmy! Love to see old machinery come back to life! You really are a determined chap, and great to see pure passion 💪 Cheers Rob
Great video. That crane is way more complex than it looks. Nice restore. Rob is better than Google. His name should be a verb in like, "...just Rob it." Mahalo for sharing! : )
I’d love to see a Tips video on clamping. I know it’s unrelated to this amazing restoration but I only hours ago launched my wood project from the drill press across the shop so it’s top-of-mind for me. I love this channel.
Fitting that you used an old school monkey wrench during the restro and did you see those roller bearings in the wheel, can take them apart to service them, thanks Jimmy and your team for taking me back, and the bronze bushing update, thanks for the video🤗😎🤗😎
Looks like (26:02) it has the remains of some feet that it lowers onto when the handle is raised? Maybe they had a block of wood on the bottom of them or something? Otherwise there seems no point in the raise/lower handle mechanism.
In 2014 I made the coffin in the background you can see the build here. it was recently taken out of a storage unit were it was damaged.. I am fixing it for Halloween xo .. also it was the inspiration for the goKart build th-cam.com/video/I0Z7kW2oZb0/w-d-xo.html
When you lifted the anvil at the end I assumed you did all this because you were having a coyote problem.
Nah he has a roadrunner problem 🤣
@@TheBtw1997 Jimmy should have put ACME on the side of that crane.

Love seeing a restoration of an old tool that will actually be put back to work. Awesome job, and hope it will be used for another 100 or so years.👍
Always good to see him breathing life back into old...old school equipment. When you cranked the handle, it sounded like a rollercoaster climbing!
Raising this workhorse from the prison of Rustville is so great to watch . If anybody didn't learn something from this video then they're dead in the head.

Nice work, beautiful crane!
I have never seen bearings like the ones in the wheels. Really interesting design.
Wow, square nuts are old school stuff! I've never thought they kept making them into the 1920s
Nice Resto. Fun to use. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see you’re still uploading! I’ve been a fan since I was 11 years old I’m 21 now! Love your videos ! Even watched u on Discovery channel

I really need one of these. I like the one with the engine attachment.

I love these old tools, my Canton Crane is a little different but it's cool
I love this video and I’ve never seen a lift like this. I can’t imagine how handy it is.
I love that the chain crank is at wheel chair height …like back in the day they knew a man with a broken back could still be good labor!
Would love to see @Handtoolrescue drop that in his magical evaporust barrel! 😃 this is amazing history. Love the vid as always. Love ❤️ from Texas.
Excellent transformation. I remember seeing it when you first got it! So cool to see it be put back to work.

I think it was just to keep it Close to the road if it tipped. They were steel skids that we’re replaceable
Nice work my man
Congratulations!👏👏👏
Nice work as always!
Those bearings were gnarly. Nice restore 🍻
Good job Jimmy Diresta beautiful
Super cool! That thing is badass
Almost makes me want to build one!
I actually used my adjustable wrench today. I needed a 15/16” in a very tight spot and that old wrench that I don’t use worked great.
Woo hoo! Love it man. Heading to Livingstonville Creekside flea Market tomorrow(Sunday) hoping to find some treasure
Nice, and still very useful 👍👍
