Can you confirm the box it came in says on the backside -2.4/5g wifi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, bluetooth 4.2" but the device doesn't have a wifi board inside ? Just wondering if they ment to implement it, already print the box, bot it doesn't have wifi in the final product. Thanks for the videos!
Yes, it says so on the box. But the console itself does not have these functions. It supports an external Wi-Fi adapter and other devices via USB type C
My R36S is not detecting usb tethering (my phone is compatible, I checked on other devices), do you know if there is a reason for this, I have what I believe is stock firmware (arkos 2.0 04232022) so maybe that version has no support for that? Thank you for your videos, they are great!
I tried to connect to wifi with my R36S but when i get to the part where i have to enter the password for my wifi it says "Activation failed: Secrets were required, but not provided...." i then tried to connect through my hotspot on my iphone and the same message pops up, very confused on how to solve this problem.
@@Moemelchen Yo, got the same error today.. Check your router settings.. it worked fine for me when I turned off the 5 Ghz frequency and just run on the 2,4.. But the next issue: I can't update portmaster on my r36s.. Do I have to do it manually on my Mac? its v2.8

This is a specific console. It may simply not support what other consoles support. It's easier to buy a Wi-Fi adapter

The console should recognize the adapter automatically, otherwise you need another wifi adapter

Maybe plug in your WiFi adapter into your computer first and join it to your WiFi network via your computer and plug back into your R36s

You are wrong 🤣. It does not have built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
You can pay more for the one that has wifi and bt. The cheaper one doesn't have them.
If ur not near ur house where your wifi is would it not work
The console works perfectly without internet access. The internet is only needed for updates and other small things as desired.
