True. I was so pissed when Russia won with highly flawed 5 ribbon while Spain and Bulgaria didn't do any mistakes. Russia should've gotten bronze. I hope that they can taste their own medicine in 2020.

I'm glad that other countries besides Russia are dominating (specifically in group rhythmic gymnastics). I'm not against Russia winning either but it's very annoying that they can do mistakes and still win while other gymnasts do mistakes and they aren't going to be even near on the podium. It's frustrating and unfair too. I also hated those high base value arguments because everyone had the 10 in difficult but judges never gave 10 in difficulty to anyone even though there were gymnasts that had clearly more than 10 in difficulty. I think that it's good that they opened the COP even though I don't necessarily like the new COP since you can do mistakes and it doesn't really affect your scores that much especially if you have a huge difficulty score.

Ironically that is the incident that I was referring to. I love Averinas too but I also think that Halkina should've gotten silver. I think that the only reason she won silver because of her huge difficulty score. That is what I hate about in the new COP. You can do many mistakes and still win or win silver or bronze thanks to your huge difficulty. I also though that she lost her silver medal and I was shocked when Halkina was only in third place and the commentators from my country were shocked too.

That's weird. I'm not Spaniard but usually they are rooting for non-Russian gymnasts so for me that reaction was weird. It's has been a long time since Belarus has gotten a medal in all-around so I'm happy for her as well.
Russia better than Spain, Spain just wow in first until half time after that is boring perform.. Russia wow form start until finish.. sorry that just my opinion..✌😉 and Spain deserve in Silver medal 👍

Rusia en estos deportes "artísticos" siempre salen con ventaja,aún recuerdo el robo a Gemma Mengual en un Campeonato del mundo de natación sincronizada,o el oro de patinaje femenino en Sochi que merecía Yuna Kim, y así en estos deportes donde está a discreción de un juez y no de una marca o un tiempo.

Mas na verdade ninguém vende a imagem do Brasil com outro ritmo, nas minhas andadas por aí , é só o samba que eles conhecem como marca do Brasil. Devias estar feliz porque pelo menos é algo que leva o Brasil pra fora. Quando eles falam país do samba é porque é o único país que tem este ritmo e é verdade. Não é vergonhoso, é orgulho, porque tem país que nem ritmo pra mostrar tem . Engraçado que eu fui perceber isto somente quando sai do Brasil . Antes pensava como você. La dificultad no les alcanzaba, si las rusas no hubieran ejecutado perfectamente su rutina de 2 aros y 6 clavas, el oro sería de España, pero no, lamentablemente no se otorgan medallas por aparato sino solo por el all around

En 2022 yo sigo emocionadisima en ver esta presentacion en tributo a mi pais.
Y yo sin asimilar cómo nos robaron el oro. Y digo "nos", porque aunque no soy española, en aquel tiempo vivía en Madrid y vi la presentación en directo. Es más, soy fisioterapeuta de profesión, y recuerdo que en mi formación académica tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con las niñas de gimnasia rítmica de mi país, Colombia. Por eso sigo mucho este deporte. Y el día que España hizo esta coreografía, recuerdo que dije: "ganamos. Todo fue perfecto". Pero no. Desgraciados jueces. Arggggggg!! No lo acepto aún.
