    "athletes who never give up" *first clip is of an athlete who quit the majority of her events last Olympics

      The first clip also shows the most decorated gymnast to have ever set foot on earth thus far. I’m sure that her decision was harder for her to make, than for us to accept.

    I wonder if the people her brother shot will ever "rise" again.

    • @OK5464OK
      @OK5464OK 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, people whose brother got shot will rise up again. Things will not be the same, but pls do not drawn in despair and grief. I don't mean to be harsh, but pls don't blame current circumstances on what happened in the past. Yes, things would have been different if what happened would not have happened, but unfortunately here we are now. Please do not put your head on your shoulder and let opportunities pass you by. Keep pushing and focus on positive perspectives. They say one's perspective is also one's reality.
      If you find it helpful, do search for videos on people who went through what you are going through. It may lift you in some kind of way.
      I don't know what you are going through, but even if I knew, I will never be able to fully "understand" it. People have a tendency of saying they "understand', but in actual fact to understand pain in theory is very different from experiencing and living through it.
      I am not a professional, it's just that your comment hit hard, because I know pain... I am hoping on your smile brightening your world and of those around you. All the best.

    They’re still celebrating this quitter?

    • @thrownblown
      @thrownblown ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Seriously! Like why put the most egregious quitter in gymnastics on the thumbnail when there are athletes like Katelyn Ohashi who quit and returned to perform even better. This one who, in her own words, "should have quit before Tokyo" was too greedy to have the humility to give the spot to an actual person of character that would have represented our country and performed under the pressure.
