First of all, your a badass DIY! Excellent mods, great to see folks pushing the limits. You may wanna consider adding some kind of weight...like a long weighted keel, or maybe some outriggers for stability. The flex in the rear: consider an aluminum plate instead of the plastic/ABS motor mount. Run the dimensions of the new plate forward along the gunnels for more mounting surface. Also, maybe consider a bed mounted loader instead of a trailer. That way the loader is still easily removable and storable and you dont run into parking problems. Keep it going.
Finally! The moment we've all been waiting for!!! Thing looks great on the water! Def going to be referring back to all your videos when I start my build
Hey man. Nice build. What kind of rear motor mount plate do you have on it for your outboard motor? Looks like the plate goes completely across the back of the kayak. Im interested in putting an outboard motor on my 133X.
Hello, in the end, what happened with the kayak? Is everything going well? I plan to do the same as you. Do you think it's the best combination? Have you had any problems with the motor? 17:3717:37
You should lower the seat to help you be more stable. Hobie has that problem. I am thinking of doing one also . I will be putting foam to stabilize the floor and rear tank well. Lower the seat that will help on your stability. I worked at a kayak shop did many kayaks. I was one of the first to do out boards lol.
We no longer know anything about how your kayak is doing. Do you recommend that I do it the same as yours? Everything is going well because I like how you set it up. Please tell me something. Thank you.
@@thejuanderdude7911 Awesome I wanted to get the 133X to setup for bow fishing but I settled for the 12T instead I am still thinking about modifying a transom to mount a 2 stroke weed eater style mud motor setup I think would really turn out great

Awesome! Was concerned that telling motor was going to hit something and snap in two though? Be careful out there. ♥️ The Gospel of John, when you're ready. 🔥
I was really happy to find your TH-cam channel. I'll be purchasing a 133x today or tomorrow, and like you, I want to have remote steering and control. Like you, I also will have stick steering to keep things out of the way (EZY-stik looks like what you have also). However, I have not been able to find anything about what it takes to get the tiller/throttle arm off and use it as the remote throttle/shifter. Yet, I see you appear to have done just that. How do I find on TH-cam where you did that, or do you know of other sources? I'm looking at putting on a 4HP Tohatsu. I'd go with the 3.5 which is considerably lighter given it's only .5 horse less, but then I would not be able to add an alternator. It's good to have that electrical juice flowing for lights and trolling motor, etc. But, the weight issue may win out in the end. I could always add an alternator over the side that turns when the boat is moving. Please respond, and tell me where you are out of? Looks like Florida. I'm in Miami.
Don’t put a wing nut on there lol vibration and waves will make it back out and if you lose steering while you’re going wide open it’s going to be a problem bro.and a single jet ski trailer worked perfect for my kayak get them used pretty cheap that way you don’t have to take anything apart load and unload like a boat
God damn, I thought my kayak was heavy and a pain in the butt to load by hand to landings. That is a sick setup! I figured the shape of the keel, it doesn't cut through water that great? Didn't see you attach a kill switch, are you not required?
Things I've learnd.. the boat flexes too much without the hitch extender .. also if you are using ratchet straps dont stand in the kaya or put weight on it while cranking it down.. I always imagine my front skidplate being put under too much pressure. Aslo is this from Lauderdale..? I think recognized some of those houses
Yea I got a hitch extender on order. Should be here before the weekend. I cringed when I seen it hanging 8ft of the back of my truck 😂. Luckily where I launched it was only 5 min away.
No I couldn’t find the exact link because they don’t sell the kit with the short length cable that I have. But if you look up eZy glide stick steer it should pop up. Or did you mean the one mounted on the rear transom?
I fished out of kayak in Louisiana 15 + yrs. ago in simpler times ...I looks a lot more complicated now ..Seems like putting a rifle scope on blunderbuss --but interesting ...)))

I'm really not understanding the whole running the gas motor, with the trolling motor down thing, especially when you tried to hit the throttle some, thats just ridiculous.
Started out with the kayak, then my ideas started going. I’m really trying to steer away from a trailer. But looking how it’s going I’ve already build one 🤣. The boat ramps close to me are always jam packed also and there’s a new “paddle craft” only launch 3 min from my house. When I started this project I didn’t have enough for a skiff , didn’t want a loan so I just slowly built to this point. Plus storage space is an issue. But we’ll see what the future holds. I’m happy with this setup.

Just an observation. None of this shit exsited when I was taught to fish. All them damn gadgets and gizmos. Now, will you out fish me? Damn right! I'm not using all that!
Something to note. Pull up your trolling motor it causes alot of drag if you ever try to go WOT potentially you can damage the shaft.
