How I Put a REAL Jet Engine on a Kayak

  • 1200F Degree exhaust! Screaming at 160 decibels. Rotating at 121 THOUSAND RPM'S! THIS, is the real deal. An airplane jet engine! Just, on a smaller scale. PERFECT, for a ....kayak? Why not?
This video documents all the steps I went through to install this little fiery beast. It only weighs 1.90kg or 4.19lbs! Yet this tiny monster creates 45 pounds of thrust. Thats a good amount of power for the new Pelican Catch PWR 100.
I know Pelican designed this kayak to accept a motor, but I may have taken it too far this time. As my life becomes more and more busy, with a business to run and a TH-cam channel to maintain and now projects like THIS! I might be letting my life get a little too complicated. And this crazy kayak might just scare the heck out of the fish that I have been ignoring lately.
Something tells me that I should've just put a trolling motor on this kayak like Pelican intended. But it's too late for that now.

He's truly something isn't he? I went and visited a week ago and he did the same for me. Showed me around, went through the build with me. Even set off the fire suppression system with me a bit too close. :D (startling when you're not expecting it) I just need more stickers for the other side of the car and my yak.
