I have all of this in my fridge so I am making this for our New Year's Eve celebration. I decided to give a nod to Mexican cuisine this year. Last year my husband and I did Japanese for his culture. I love authentic Mexican cuisine. Thank you for the tutorial and explanations. Love it. Great video.

@@LaCocinaDeJannett OMG this is da bomb. My husband loved it and I made more today. I used ancho chili powder, chipotle, cayenne and fresh lime juice. My husband cannot do spice so he did garlic powder and chili powder with a bit of lime.I used homemade kewpie mayo (Japanese mayo). I used a lot of cilantro since we both enjoy the flavor. It went really well with the garlic quesadillas topped with homemade guacamole and pico de gallo. This is a keeper recipe and will definitely be making it again and again.

This is my first time making this today. It's so different and tasty. I get sick of eating the same thing all the time so I said let me try a different food from a different culture and I love it. I'm practicing making different food from different cultures💜 this is such a new taste for me. Thank you for this tutorial I followed it step-by-step 💛💛

Making this tonight, along with your birria that I’ve now made sooooo many times for my boyfriends Hispanic family. I use your birria recipe and make tamales to sell during the holidays. Literally sold hundreds! And no one believes it’s an African American girl cooking it 😂😂😂 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Can’t wait to try this esquite tonight!

Yes, it just provides a herby flavor. Which in this case the cilantro did the same

It’s just for the look 😉 you’re right it’s not on the corn usually. But I feel it make the cup look pretty!

Get off my Channel with your ignorant comments. Its a Tradition Mexican snack, NOT CRAP as you call it.
