Thanks very much for this great video. It is the best one I have seen for showing what the path is like. I plan to do this route soon and I found it really helpful.

Kevin, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I had a similar walking experience end of October 2020, started at nine, found the beck pretty steep and hard going as you did, the Bad Step impassable, but the views glorious. I kept on up Bowfell but it took forever to get back down - I was walking around up there looking to go down around three pm and by the time I was walking along the valley path it was dark. Took just over nine hours all in, so Bowfell wasn’t that much of an addition in hindsight. Challenging top full of boulders though. I regretted not going down the Band as I found Ore Gap quite challenging too, but maybe there’s just no quick way down! Anyway, thank you, took me straight back to my walk.

Thank you for your comment, much appreciated. I am glad you enjoyed the video and your walk - it is a little tough, especially if you include Bowfell as you did, but it is well worth the effort.
I did Bowfell a few years ago after visiting Rossett Pike (a very nice little summit) and Angle Tarn. Unfortunately part way up the climb to Bowfell from Angle Tarn the mist came down and I could only see a few yards ahead when on the summit.
Hopefully some time this year we will all be able to travel and get out on the fells again. Until then, thanks again and stay safe !
