Bowfell - This time I could see for miles !

Starting at the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, Langdale in the Lake District, this walk follows the valley of Mickleden before climbing onto the first 'Wainwright' of the day - Rossett Pike.
Following a hike upon to Esk Pike the route then takes us up onto the highest point on the day, Bowfell. The walk concludes with a visit to Three Tarns and returns to the Old Dungeon Ghyll via The Band.

Thanks for this. I left the LD years ago but have fond memories, especially Langdale. Then I found a flint axe head in the scree down off Pick O Stickle. The Sheppards Track was my most favoured walk up to Bowfell, my mother's favovourite mountain. Its pleasing to see the place looks so good despite all the human traffic. Your vid brings back many good memories. Thank you.
