This is awesome Julie, so many vids take you the long way and usually involve restickifying the mat with who knows what… I go to YOU first! Julie you are so fun and informative and I TRUST your methods! THANK YoU!!!
i just tried to cut a cardstock on my new mat. It stuck so bad that the card stock tore trying to take it off and now has almost most of the card stock stuck to the mat
Hello Wona, we suggest you scrape the mat with the included spatula, then use alcohol-free baby wipes to clean the mat. You can find those instructions here: bit.ly/3U85z28. I used completely chemical free baby wipes and my mats lost all stick and had to be replaced which is very expensive i love my machine but dont love the mats i also have a cricut which is not my fav at all but the mats are better material and the stick lasts longer and even if it doesn't those mats are cheaper to replace so i get stuck using an inferior machine because the cost of replacement mats on my brother are holding back me using it 🙁
Kyla, You can clean your ScanNCut mat with a wet paper towel. As it dries, the stickiness will return. When your mat is not in use, we recommend keeping the dust cover on it to keep it clean for your next project. ~tw

how long do the mats last, or how many cuts can you get from them?
Great question, Charlie! The longevity of your mats depends on what each mat is used for and how often it is used. ~tw
