It's a shame that the Generations episode didn't have that detail, or honestly a lot of what really made his scene so emotional. Like, there was no build-up, it was in the sky, & then half a second later in his hands. It didn't zoom in on his eye, he didn't fall to his knees because of the overwhelming emotion, no brief & subtle silence inbetween "Floette..." & "It's been 3,000 years..." And on top of it all, the line was delivered like it was just a sentence. There was barely any emotion in it. Really disappointed, honestly.

I've played every generation since Ruby and Sapphire. I've played the Mystery Dungeon games, and the Ranger games. But I can say for a fact that this is the first Pokémon game to make me legitimately cry at the end. Like, full-on sobbing. Part of that may have been due to lack of sleep, but still... They did a dang good job with this one!

cabbage scented candle I got EOS as one of my earlier Pokemon games, and I honestly cried at the end. The story is so much better than the main games, in my opinion. (Honestly, being the very best like no one ever was gets quite boring after a while- not like I don't buy every new game lol)

There are only two video games to date that have made me cry: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Pokémon X and Y And not only have their endings made me cry, but I seem to cry every single time I see them. Well done, Game Freak. You've managed to achieve what is only matched by Hideo Kojima.
Wow, Game Freak pulled off one of the best Pokemon Games since the very first version in gameboy. I really liked how Game Freak transitioned their ways of telling the story to great details.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Pokémon X & Y came out. They still hold up beautiful after 10 years. Kalos deserved more love though. I still want Pokémon Z

When I saw this scene, I cried every time because I also wanted to see my deceased friend again. He died in 1999 when he was hit by a truck. We vowed to fill the Pokedex to 100% and become Pokemon masters. I miss him.

This was the best ending in any Pokémon game ever.
