how did you remove the home button then you put on the new glass, so how is it possible to fit the home button back on afterwards something missing in your video!
I've purchased every single thing I need to do this I even bought an extra tube of glue just in case but I have chickened out I don't know why I've always been pretty ballsy when it comes to DIY repair. It just looks like it would be too easy to fuck up
For us Amateur Amateurs we need actual speech explaining what to do and the best ways to do it. I'm usually good with the hardware (can build a PC with instructions but crap totally with the software)! My screen has shattered ( it bounced twice before shattering ) but is still very much in working order, as this reply shows. Having seen this video I'm thinking it easier to replace the lot, ie with digitizer. Any suggestions on how best to go about it welcome. I have got the gear thru Ebay, plus gloves and earthing strap. Any other gear I need please advise.
