- A quick drive and look over my friend Dave’s awesome ride.
Delivered new as a W375, Dave has somehow talked his wife into approving the W547 upgrade.
What a guy!
Unfortunately we had nowhere really to go to show what the car is capable of but viewers will see what’s under the bonnet and Dave talks us through some of his modifications.
It is a torque monster!

@@gavinpavlina Absolutely! Should you happen to visit the U.S., particularly Minnesota I would be happy to oblige and take the SS out for a run. I also enjoy the videos from Australia because you Holden folks really really know this car and appreciate it as much as I do. So the videos are a great way for me to learn more about the car and it’s heritage.

Sounds amazing Supercharger and all....sits nice and low. A manual version would have made it an 11. Great video,would love to see more of this car.

The car wanting to move forward while on the brake is most likely in the tune. It doesn't need to be like that. Mine did the same until i had my cousin re tune the car.
Thanks for the heads up Nick. I'm currently looking at having the tune removed, looked at and improved/modified to hopefully get more HP's if possible.

@@ImYahndi correct a big stall will make it not want to lurch forward, I’ve got a 3800 stall in my ssv and works a treat
Woah! That's a beautiful car, mate. I've got a 2013 VF SSV Wagon, one of the very first VF wagons off the line. However, I've just realized here, that the VF2 at the front actually looks a bit different, more aggressive and more of a modern look. Beautiful!

yeah i got the HSV LSA in a nice black like that but im going to try and get a nice body kit on it like your front bumper my one is all scratched cause of speed bumps and i drive that car nicely on the weekends like a granny and still have scratches

I own a 375 series2 redline
I've made a few changes to mine: Installed an Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
Granatelli Zero Ohm leads
Bilsteins cartridges and Shocks
Whiteline 30mm front sway bar
27mm rear sway bar
Shocks are stiffer than standard and feels way more sure footed on the road with almost zero body roll due to the sway bars.

I have a walkenshaw 310 upgrade on my VF Calais, I love it. It is also black
How refined is the Calais with the upgrade package. Good choice of colour too.

Hey mate, where and how do you get the apple carplay installed
Hey Manowar. I installed the Apple Car Play myself having sourced it through Envyous Customs in Perth. Though I believe Import Road are also doing the kit as well. Just a heads up though, if you own a VF series 2, AUX was deleted from this model. You will have to remove your Head unit, send your Head unit over to Envyous Customs for them to work their magic and have the AUX enabled on your Head unit. You need to select AUX to probably hear the sound which is best audio I believe as the Mylink Bluetooth Audio sound remains choppy unfortunately.

@@2007seno Hello, The VF1 has aux enabled already. Holden seem to have deleted the aux option from series 2 which is why aux needs to be enabled. You should be fine however. The guys at Import Road are pretty good in answering questions so maybe give send them a query to be 100% sure.

How you get Apple CarPlay on the VF infotainment system?
Awesome car and Walkinshaw Package. Just that the cam they use isn't the greatest if you want it to be more of a head turner.
It’s a great package, I just wish it was a few k cheaper. I’m hoping Walkinshaw might throw a new package together soon.

@@gavinpavlina The Authentic Walkinshaw package will give it much better resale value so it's always worth while just like a W375 adds value to any stock commodore. Very highly doubt there would be any more packages. That package has been around since before the car was discontinued.

Enyvous Customs over in Perth, you have also Import Road who does these packages too. If its a VF2, you will need to send your headunit over to Enyvous Customs to allow Jason to add AUX which was deleted into VF2 over VF1, this provides you the sound prior to switching over on your headunit.
Are the rotors drilled and slotted?

How did you get CarPlay on it I got a 2014 SS
I bought my Apple Car Play kit through a company in Perth. Their called Enyvous Customs. Import Road are the latest company to be doing these kits as well if that helps.
