Are you running floro leaders in clearer water when using these magnum baits? And if you dont use it how clear does the water have to get before using it? Im from ny so we fish alot of clearer water i loose fish every year because the floro breaks but is it worth the stealth?
Hey I watched you on an episode of “let’s Fish TV” and you were using a small swim bait on a small ball head jig could you elaborate on what you do there?
I have a question concerning the use of braid when fishing heavy brush in a deeper situation. I know for a fact that braid is noisy when rubbing against limbs, and trunks of trees. Will this noise cause fish to be alarmed and flee the area and not bite the lure as freely as when using flurocarbon??? Thanks for responding!!!

Man I would love to sit snd talk fishin over several beers with you. Bigger baits are frustrating for me. Bites usually are few and far between so i loose cinfidence and start "chasing" lures. When i fish smaller baits i get more total bites on whatever im fishing so at least im on the right track. But a bunch of 1lb babies arnt gonna win me no gas money. Gotta be a balance in there somewhere.
So here is a topic suggestion. How long to fish a spot/area/pattern/lure/color ,etc. Before flippin the script and trying something different. What kills me is knowing an area is holding out on you and you keep working the hell out of it with nothing in the boat.

Don’t really fish magnum baits but will give it a shot. Culling out the smaller bites makes sense. Have to say favorite is the magnum rage bug.
ANDREW, I fish a lot of Mister Twister soft plastics and use the Flip'n out & 12" Buzz worm a lot.
Fav is zoom ole monster and xzone blitz worm June bug color ,,
Mag rage bug either grn pumpkin purple or black/blue on a 3/4 tungsten wobble head. Works well on Cumberland
