I always hate what that road grime from rain does to a clean boat. I drove one time one a road with hail balls on it and felt like I was driving on marbles.
Eastern Colorado complete white out! Cars drove off highway into the fields and got stuck! Staid on side of the road for 6hrs

Andrew have u ever fished Cedar lake it’s really small but the last couple state records have came out of there the 9.3 pound in my pic with my lil boy is outta there caught it on the SPRO flat sided square Bill fire tiger color. ;)
Andrew, craziest driving moment was Interstate 55 in Illinois going from Midway airport to Peoria, IL. Trip generally takes 2.5-3 hours. During a snow event white out, it took 6.5 hours of very stressful driving to get within 45 minutes of Peoria. Many accidents along the way. Never again! Question for you about the Spinnerbait. I throw the 3/8 & 1/2 oz mostly, and they are generally pretty snag resistant. However, in the conditions you are describing, how often am I going to lose that 1 oz Spinnerbait? The information sounds great to me. I want to try it. Just give me an honest assessment in your opinion. Thanks for the time you put into your tips.
Spot on recommendation on wearing polarized lens in heavy rain! Retired trucker, and I always had them on in those conditions!

Loved the tip. I find it redeeming that you are talking about spinner baits for summer time fishing.
Lately it seems to be the only consistent bite I have been able to maintain.
So I actually went too our local cabelas and purchased a mega-load of 3/4 to 1-1/4 oz strike king spinner baits. I have a box full of 3/8-1/2 oz….. great for 1-8’ in a Very slow roll
But I’m ready now to work the deep stuff.

Lol! I would say I’m probably the better Spinnerbait fisherman, but that’s really hard to gauge! He’s better at a lot of things. Sight fishing being the biggest.

Bringing a boat home to Metro Detroit, from Wisconsin once in the winter, I drove into a crazy winter storm. The road turned to ice right before my eyes. Boat/trailer started sliding side to side, and almost passed my truck...lol. Had to pull over and lock the hubs into 4 wheel drive to get home safely.

12-17 is what I've seen in standing timber.
And 14-19 over the tops of brush piles, it's a sweet method for whacking biggins 😂
I've got two brand new in the package just like you shared but their both 3/4.
One's mouse and the other is sexy shad pattern.
Those depths may not work everywhere, they just happen be about the depth it works out around here 🎣🎣🎣🎣

Wind is necessary up shallow, but not necessarily out deep

How deep are you fishing this style?
Anywhere from 10 foot, all the way to 30 feet of water
We catch them big spots on ledge's in 25- 30 ft of water, but it's usually a drop shot or shaky head type of deal.
Don’t be talking about my secret baits. You said in your video on experience yesterday that you can’t win with a Spinner Bait so let’s stick with that. lol

@@AndrewUpshawFishing I received a SOB Don Butler Spinner Bait with my 1972 BASS membership and have had good success on a Spinner Bait from that time to the present. It didn’t hurt my feelings when everyone else started to give up on the bait. I think it’s the closest to a perfect bass bait as has ever been devised!
