I also got on the CZ train later than I should have. From the first CZ I bought, I was hooked. I've had all of the polymer pistols that I know of, and trying to get all the full metal guns now. I'd love to get an Omega trigger in my SP-01 tactical. Great shooting brother, you were cleaning those targets clocks! :)
Right with you. Just added the P-07 today to the fleet of the CZ82, CZ P-01, Compact 75, CZ P 10C, and CZ 97. Nice that the P 10-C mags fit the P-07 perfectly. IMO, for the $$$, CZ's are the bargain of the last several years. Nice shooting with the P-09...........(why did I have to watch this video.....now I'm off to find a P-09)
Nice comparison. I’ve got a P07 (comparable to G19 size) & it’s been my carry gun ever since I bought it & I’ve shot a handful of little local club shoots with it. I love it! That Omega trigger grows on you fast & it breaks in nicely!!!
The p09 is good for daily. I use it at work, home, out and about open and concealed. Its really not tgat heavy or at least seems heavy because it is well balanced. I need to buy a 2nd one in case i end up using one. The p09 breaks and resets a little cleaner than the p07 for some odd reason.
A good review of two very fine pistols . CZ certainly make quality firearms sold at reasonable prices . The shooting wasn’t to bad either . I noticed someone in the background walking around like a chook that’s just had it head lopped off , there must be something strange in the water in your neck of the woods .

Just bought a P-09. Wanted to carry, but wasn't sure. Still, that gun is so awesome. After carrying it around the house on my hip, I can definitely see this as an EDC. Not bad at all.
P01 will definitely feel better in the hands. Their weight and size is pretty negligible. The big change is 1 round extra you get in the base magazine form of the p07. Both are great to shoot and I would wager the p01 has the slightly better trigger (but that could be me.) However I'll say this, the price is always in favor of the p07. When it comes to magazines it's a toss up since the p01 can use classic cz75 magazines which can be found on "surplus" but still tend to be a $30 charge. Holster wise you'll find more for the p07 and once you have a p07 you'll want the p09 for sure.
Yeah bud I’m sold on the p09. Any holster options you are familiar with? Not finding a whole lot out there. So far I’ve found Tier one, legacy concealment, and safariland gls... looking for owb with level 3 retention... if anyone has found other let me know. Thanks.
Nothing improved my 3Gun/ USPSA /IDPA scores more than moving to a CZ Shadow. That said, I'm not going to daily carry a 42oz steel frame, so you make your choices.

the firing pin retaining pin is a major problem with this gun. The only mechanical failure I have ever experienced with a firearm was this gun's retaining pin. If you buy it, purchase a hardened steel retaining pin and replace the factory pin.
How much single action vs double action do you shoot. The claim has always been that these were designed as duty use and intended for a 90% or more single action firing.

My CZ P09 UG/SR ismy favorite polymer handgun. It is outstanding. My SP-01 Tac is amazing as well and nothing compares.

I have a P-09, but the SP-01 seems like the winner here. The P-09 is heavy enough, fully loaded. Can't imagine 2X the weight hanging from my belt.
I had been hoping to get my paws on the P-01 and P-07 to see which I liked better but I've been working temporarily in California (boo, I know).
