Here's my 1-minute creepypasta. So I was looking around my local game shop and found a copy of Rayman 2, a game that I used to play in my childhood, but the cartridge was really beaten up. Ok, so I'm going to go ahead and point out something that really cheeses me off in that Legends creepypasta. When he first got rayman legends on the Xbone, it said he also got Garden Warfare. That's fair, they were both released in February of 2014. Yet after that, over the span of a little over 3 months, all the shit happened and the brother asked to give him Garden Warfare 2. Garden Warfare 2 didn't exist until February 23rd, 2016. That's literally not how time works whatsoever. Before you say anything about "Oh he needed all that time to re-100% the game", do you really think it would take this man 2 years to 100% rayman legends? Hell, even with my on-and-off interests that come with Asbergers, and I can 100% legends in about 3 weeks. Also, how the smuckerfuck does a dark prototype get released digitally? Also, how does such a severe bug that replaces entire other games exist, yet only affect one particular game and not all the others?
So, did Crazy Ralph just have a spare 'kill all your video game protagonists' curse lying around, or was he just an asshole who felt like having a flimsy excuse to curse someone that day? Y'know, like a creepypasta author who's weirdly defensive and confrontational about the shitty contrivances and pacing in their story?
I like to think of myself as an optimist when it comes to writing and developing one's creative skills, and normally I'd agree that everyone has potential. But in the case of 'Rayman GBC Game Over,' I have to disagree with you. Every other story on this list I would say has something redeemable or creative or at least nostalgic about it, but not that one. It's the only story out of these that got put on the Trollpasta wiki, and it belongs there for how insultingly bad it is. Above all its other faults, it's the worst kind of story that acts needlessly hostile to its reader for no adequate reason. The author breaks the flow of the story several times to insult the reader for being impatient, hating their game preferences, or just questioning their massive cliches and contrivances. It's like they've made up their mind that their audience are assholes and want to 'beat them to the punch' by calling them out on it, as if that somehow makes the story better. If you go into writing a story assuming your audience is going to hate it, then why bother writing it in the first place? All they do by insulting the audience and breaking the fourth wall is disrupt the flow of the story, take the audience out of it, and draw even more attention to the story's flaws. It's a kind of bad attitude that can't easily be corrected with criticism because they start out the conversation being jerks to anyone reading. Aside from that, the story is spectacularly lazy. Every other story on this list tries to build atmosphere, tell a cohesive narrative, and establish character to draw the reader in, either by talking in depth about the progression of the game, describing themselves in ways that set the scene, or offering explanations for the creepy stuff that happens. All 'Rayman GBC Game Over' does is skip straight from cliche to cliche without pausing or establishing any kind of atmosphere or character, which is pretty rich coming from someone who called us 'impatient bastards.' On top of that, the core 'creepy' element of the story is ripped off wholesale from 'Sonic 2: Genocide City,' a creepypasta that built up to its horror with atmospheric gameplay, gradual escalation, and an actual story. Hell, there's not even a significant reason this pasta has anything to do with Rayman, you could replace it with any random video game and the story wouldn't be any different. It's a story that hates being read, and barely bothered to get written, plain and simple. I like to encourage the potential in budding writers, and every other story on this list shows potential at being good and seems to come from a place of genuine passion for storytelling. Giving any praise to the lazy mess that is 'Rayman GBC Game Over' is an insult to people who actually put effort into writing stories and putting themselves out there on the internet in hopes of improving themselves. Support the arts whenever you can, but don't go casting pearls before swine.

i actually had nightmares about rayman3. in the dream i was surrounded by those red punchglove-stick guys. instead of being a onehit, they were invinsable now and i constandly ran into them. they made those weird hoodloom karate noises the whole time and they were in my way of getting over the ledge were you have to throw a plumb. it sure isnt scary but as an 8 year old it wasnt fun at all. i think that dream was the reason why i always started shaking when fighting refluxes final version. maybe also because the last few levels in rayman 3 got progressivly scarier compared to the beginning. all green and atmosspheric and then dark deserts, katacomps and massive red hot factorys.

i actually had nightmares about rayman3. in the dream i was surrounded by those red punchglove-stick guys. instead of being a onehit, they were invinsable now and i constandly ran into them. they made those weird hoodloom karate noises the whole time and they were in my way of getting over the ledge were you have to throw a plumb. it sure isnt scary but as an 8 year old it wasnt fun at all. i think that dream was the reason why i always started shaking when fighting refluxes final version. maybe also because the last few levels in rayman 3 got progressivly scarier compared to the beginning. all green and atmosspheric and then dark deserts, katacomps and massive red hot factorys.
