I can't believe it! I'm the author of "Turn the Crank"! I wrote it so many years ago, back when I thought of taking my writing into the horror genre. I never thought anyone would like it, or that it would even get any attention. Wow. This video being a year old, I feel slow on the uptake, but thanks for reading and featuring the story.

The dawn is your enemy is real, it was, it as for as I remember, it only aired once, I was waiting for king of the hill as my bedtime was 10:30, the whole thing played until the colored bars, then switched back right the intro started.

Candle Cove is just the best because it was written just right, it puts in just enough details to give that Mandela effect.
While others tread into the creepy/horror factor you instantly dismiss the possibility of them happening because, although entertaining, it's just so far-fetched.
But Candle Cove you think for a moment you had actually watched something like it, you trick yourself into thinking that you have seen this show at some point in your youth, you might even stop to search if this was real.
But it's not. The creepiest part isn't what happened in the creepy pasta with the screaming but that you really think that it was real.
The consept for Gregory 's room would've been a good show for sprout. You and your good freind Gregory in a little room! He reads you fairy tales and other stories as well as singing calm songs.
I bet one I've you have seen the nighttime show on sprout. It's like that but less creepy

If I ever made a show, I would include an *actual* creepy lost episode just to mess with the viewers. It might not be good for the show, but oh well.
Do you know the I am a teenage gary (spongebob) theory that it had a deleated scene because it was too terrifying (it wasn’t real) I would do something like that. Air an episode with a horrifying screen, take it down then air it again with the scene cut out and a different transition.
It could be a good idea, though people might give you crap for including other original psstas.

You pretty much can't make creepypastas about or involving adult swim. Whatever you think you can come up with, adult swim has probably done something scarier. I once woke up in the middle of Off the Air only to see a montage of dead animals set to the music of Deafheaven. And need I even mention the Alan Resnick shit they always show at 4 AM. Come on man. Just future reference for creepypasta writers. If you try to appeal or relate to the adult swim viewerbase, you'll probably just get laughed out of the room.

Being completely honest the idea of an extended version of the Dawn is your enemy with staged audio of people screaming in agony in the background doesn't really seem that odd for the people who made "Unedited Footage of a Bear."

@@AleTitan i think he is talking about that deathmetal show that use to air, i forgot what it was about. some death metal band group going on adventures or something and the show had alot of gore/shock value that definitely wasnt for kids. Very edgy show with dead animals being the more tame side. i use to watch it and although it had some funny moments it wasnt that good of a show. late late night adult swim had the more bloody stuff but because it was so late at night FAAAAAAR past any kids bed time they got away with showing it. matter of fact thats why anime such as inyuasha aired so late at night on the network, simply because it had blood in it. i havent watched adult swim in a LONG time but im fairly certain it still airs its more edgier shows past midnight.
Growing up ive always had access to a tv in my room so it was very easy for me to watch shows past midnight even if i had school the next day. watched adult swim everyday and i think the deathmetal show was Adult swims edgiest show. I certainly remember the dawn is your enemy bumper, but i cant remember ever seeing the "extended" version or if i did i didnt pay much attention to it. as i said before, if you watched adult swims more weirder/edgier shows then the full version of dawn is your enemy bumper wouldnt phase you at all. it went perfectly with the block and made sense if you heard it. But it would certainly freak out the kids who's bedtime was at 7pm.

This is my lost episode story. I am trying to decide if this was real or not, therefor I cannot prove it is real. I know the exact day it happened it was about 11 at night and it was a few days before Christmas of 2012. I had just woken up (or this was all a dream) but I could almost promise I was awake. There was a light glow in my room but I looked at the TV and the channels were switching by themselves. It stopped on A channel that I have no clue what it was even called, but I specifically remember it was a light static and it was like a choir singing “we wish you a merry Christmas” and it was a girl just standing there smiling in a Christmas hat and wrapped in tinsel. Her smile just kept getting bigger and bigger and didn’t stop, it literally didn’t stop the teeth just kept growing. When her smile reached the corners of the screen the choir stopped and the channel went back to Disney channel. I couldn’t move my body I was so scared. I hate speaking about this because nobody believes me, I absolutely understand it could be a dream it just seems way too real. Thanks for reading,.

For some reason, the dawn is your enemy is the creepiest one to me because the actual 9 second bump is real and actually played at 6 am on adult swim -- the whole unnerving dark ambiance of the audio with the abstract picture as well as it abruptly playing at 6 IN THE MORNING, scares me. Yeesh.

Sunlit nightmare is one of the few creepypastas, like funnymouth that gave me a legitimate scare.
It's such a real and relatable horror, to be disabled by pathological phobias.
The poetic timing for sunlit nightmare is the thing that really makes it creepy for me. Like being scared of the light isn't scary at all but the way its executed is so perfect

I love how 1999 actually created a lost episode within itself. Booby is actually based on a real show, Oobi, with the exact same premise. Oobi features human hands with eyes doing certain things... They also spoke in broken English.
I took me so long to realize Booby was just a knockoff Oobi and I was so annoyed that I didn't get it earlier!

The ALF Autopsy entry is actually pretty interesting, because the actual show ends with Alf being taken away to Area 51 by the CIA. It was meant to be a cliff-hanger season finale and the concurrent episode would feature Alf being rescued by the family, but due to funding issues and a few other things, the next season never aired, so the show canonically ends with Alf being taken away to be vivisected and studied by the CIA.

I got a whole lot to say so I made a list
1:What I love about Gregory's room is that it finds a way to be genuinely uneasy with no graphic content whatsoever. No blood, no satanic imagery, nothing. It's all technically kid friendly which makes it a little more believable. And normally I am very good with scary footage and things like that, but good god does it succeed in making me uncomfortable and creeped out.
2:I really prefer original show creepypastas. You can do what you want without seeming unbelievable or out of place.

I actually remember a show about hands called Oobi when I was younger... I used to love it. Not fecking around this show in the "1999" story actually existed and aired on Nick Jr. when I was growing up. Scared the shit outta me when I heard that name all these years later.
Common Cursed Animations I hated that and the upside down show because they terrified me. I LOVED Yo Gabba Gabba and i have an intense scary memory of a commercial. I was watching the episode of Gabba “Quest” and i was dancing to the end song and this is where things went bad. I remember Moose saying “Up next is the upside down show!” A picture of the show was shown. I lost it. I threw the remote on the couch. I was scream crying. I screamed “Mommy! Daddy! Help! Change the channel!” I was running so fast I had trouble going up the stairs. My dad rushed down and put on Disney Jr. I’m still terrified from that omfg.

I have one, it’s more of an ad but whatever. I honestly don’t know if it’s real or I was super tired or something. All I know is that I was terrified. The animation was claymation and was the style of “Isle of Dogs”. The first shot was a little girl with white pale skin and an old dress, black hair hanging over her eyes while she hung her head, basically the classic creepy little ghost girl but odder, in a living room with a couch and she was sitting on the floor. Next thing is a Nanny stepping out of the other room. She calls her name which I can’t remember, repeatedly. The girl sits there, emotionless. Then out of nowhere the nanny screams frantically and the little girl on all fours, running at her really fast. A short static then in an office, a man is checking another mans head. It flips to inside a huge hole inside the mans head with a rat-like creature with many teeth and no eyes, it’s mouth it’s whole head, hissing and screeching while the man checking his head says “where did it come from?”. The creature jumps and his scream is cut when it flips to a scene with the man shouting at someone.“WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?” He yelled. It skips to a scene that eerily looks like the entrance to my house with a very tall ghostly white woman with a dirty, ripped white dress and very long dirty hair, on all fours and panting harshly. A man gripped her shoulder, crying; “I’m sorry I’m so sorry!”. That’s when I decided to stop the ad, too spooked to go on. Please tell me if you’ve seen this. It really scared me and I want to know if you have seen it
