If this concept could be real, and be given permission from the servers being used, this concept could be a cool idea for a massive cross-server scavenger hunt. Having people having to figure out not only which popular server the cameras are being used on, but the exact location would be a ton of fun. Imagine hiding one a long way out in 2b2t. Could even use the Minecraft@Home technology for some really difficult ones.
the feeling of being watched never fully went away for me, playing singleplayer, but i eventually stopped feeling creeped out. i started leaving signs, talking in chat and doing certain things specifically for my imaginary spectator and the feeling became more comforting than scary.
8:11 The feeling of us watching them, being flipped back onto us as they look directly into the camera genuinely unnerved me The fact they keep dancing to no music is even more unnerving
i subbed yesterday with notifs on thinking 'oh if he does end up uploading a long video essay i can watch while drawing sometime in the future i'll know' and then you upload TODAY??? what a treat, can't wait to watch this!!
This is a fantastically creepy idea. One of the whole pulls of old Minecraft is the openess and the loneliness. Introducing a watcher is like introducing a nightmare to a young 9 year old me, a few hours after my bedtime, hunched up late playing “singleplayer.”
I remember one of those recordings; it's something made by machine that was supposedly allowing to hear voices of the dead (it works on the fact that your brains tries to correct distorted human voices leading to illusion of hearing somebody speak).
I remember when this came out I didn't know what an arg was so I ended up believing for awhile after seeing this that there could be someone or something just watching me while playing in minecraft.
The only time i feel like im being watched while playing minecraft is when the only thing i hear is minecraft. I must listen to music or a TH-cam video. Otherwise, i just get that feeling where someone is in the game with me..
@@443MoneyTrees I imagined something like you watch one of those unnerving unrated movies but the tape itself is recording everything you do... Because you're next.

This is actually a really cool concept. I always like what I do to have a point to it, so a website like this would’ve been great for me to record what I do
Someone should make a seemingly innocent mod that actually puts a camera in a random location you stay in a lot and it faces a random orientaton as long as there arent any blocks in front of it, and then it gets streamed onto a website inspired by this one, it'd be cool
Anyone know the guys looking into mine watch? I explored a bit and I came across a strange cam. Title is “…..” id is: 2036 and the runtime before playback… is: NaNhNaNmNaNs… it’s a strange hallway made with obsidian and bedrock with birch fences on the roof and in the corners. There are 5 iron doors too. 3 of them appear to have a 1 block wide hole with iron bars…
I swear I saw herobrine every day while playing PE back in the day, it was so liminal and creepy it gave me hallucinations in the low render distance fog
This would be a great mod idea tho, people could craft cameras and place them around thier worlds if they have the mod, and a website would allow people to view the cameras that the people placed.
These are very interesting explanations on these type of videos. Continue with what you do and always have a wonderful day. Keep up the good work as well 👍
This series looks amazing so far. It reminds me of an old arg horror production from, god, 2015? It was known as "The 15 Experience", most people know it from that one famous video of a fake make-up blogger seeing an image from the mysterious "15th camera" in a security camera footage, and then smashing her head onto the table very graphically. It was passed along a lot back then for reaction channels since it looked so weird and terrifying, I believe that video from the 15 experience is no longer up officially due to TH-cam censorship. Anyways the story was about some French (I believe?) hacker who found this creepy house with 15 security cameras and was gonna live stream it to everyone since he was seeing ghosts on the cameras. On the night he was going to live stream it, coincidentally some college age kids break in to hang out and do college kid stuff, and chaos ensues. A really interesting find that NightMind made an excellent video on if anyone is interested it seeing it or reliving nostalgia. Anyways my point is that this really brought me back to that and I love how minecraft is able to be used as such a creative medium for all generas of content. Some aspects are related to real life like parallels between MineWatch and real life websites full of hacked home security camersa, and how the loss of privacy in the real world, correlates so well into the loss of privacy online as well. Spectacular work putting a light back onto the topic of these websites that which, it seems to me, is rarely talked about anymore.
This is really really cool, I've heard about it on the server a few times but watching it makes me intrigued and can't wait for more from MineWatch! Also just as a side question, there are many parts in the video where your voice feels forced/AI like, was this AI or am I just hearing things?
At some points like 15:10 he does sound different but I think he is using a more forced voice to separate between his own narrative and quotes from the actual ARG like 15:10. He could have used an AI for this but it seems like a filter. AI voices are getting good though, on my channel I had a few people who thought my real voice was an AI so on April 1st I "confessed" as a joke using my real voice saying I was an AI. This backfired when people actually believed it.
I remembered my account password!

"The Minecraft website that watches you: Perfect for Minecrafters Kids and Adults, Top Builder Ideas, Guide Book, Graphic Novels"
i love this, its so cryptic but not like overly in your face scary its those chills you think about when your alone or something
the feeling of being watched never fully went away for me, playing singleplayer, but i eventually stopped feeling creeped out. i started leaving signs, talking in chat and doing certain things specifically for my imaginary spectator and the feeling became more comforting than scary.
its a arg and the website was a fan website now down and isn't associated with the arg
0:17 No, I am the one that is watching 😈
Lmao this popped up ask he asked
every video you make is a must watch for me, youre honestly one of my favorite youtubers even tho I dontplay minecraft anymore
Any odd audio (like the one from the admin login) that can't be explained needs to get put into a spectograph
The slide whistle bleeps made my day lmao😂
lol
whooooaow

The feeling of us watching them, being flipped back onto us as they look directly into the camera genuinely unnerved me
The fact they keep dancing to no music is even more unnerving
It's really funny that the player keeps dancing while the disc is cut off
the worst thing is if u go to the channel now everything is gone. maybe it was the guy who stole his account
i subbed yesterday with notifs on thinking 'oh if he does end up uploading a long video essay i can watch while drawing sometime in the future i'll know' and then you upload TODAY??? what a treat, can't wait to watch this!!
RetroGamingNow: " *Have you ever felt like your being watched?* "
Me home alone:
*RIGHT NOW YES*
this reminds me of those old camera blocks from mobile, or bedrock, or whatever edition they were in
Great video i love the aspect ratio feels like im watching an older film love when people dont just go for tha basics great work man earned a new sub👍
This is a fantastically creepy idea. One of the whole pulls of old Minecraft is the openess and the loneliness. Introducing a watcher is like introducing a nightmare to a young 9 year old me, a few hours after my bedtime, hunched up late playing “singleplayer.”
this video feels haunting and comforting at the same time
This explains why Minecraft requires you to launch an “internal server” now
the first couple minutes reminds me of those sites that let you watch random cameras and webcams across the world, minewatch resembles it a lot
I remember one of those recordings; it's something made by machine that was supposedly allowing to hear voices of the dead (it works on the fact that your brains tries to correct distorted human voices leading to illusion of hearing somebody speak).
in a way this reminds me of those things from the game atomic heart where you can talk to dead bodies huh
the amount of comments that don't seem to get *THE ARG IS CLOSED, THE WEBSITE DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE* is just crazy man
why do i always find so fucking good videos that end up short and not explained and shit
Great video man.👍👍. I love your minecraft mystery videos. Ive been here since the old root video.
the production quality on this video is amazing, I love the effects and transitions.
I remember when this came out I didn't know what an arg was so I ended up believing for awhile after seeing this that there could be someone or something just watching me while playing in minecraft.
Bruh the high pitch ring throughout the vid killed my ears
Damn this video is cozy and cool. Thank you so much! Top notch content!
The only time i feel like im being watched while playing minecraft is when the only thing i hear is minecraft. I must listen to music or a TH-cam video. Otherwise, i just get that feeling where someone is in the game with me..
Your content is awesome
really well done, polished and entertaining to watch
New fear unlocked: Me randomly spinning in circles and probably have a ton of people watching me..
This is the most anxiety inducing Minecraft video I've ever watched and I love it
Imagine a VHS tape that watches you when you watch it
No, *you're* the movie.
no, i hate you :C
In Russia, you don’t watch a movie, movie watches you
Technically, it would be watching you watching it watching you watching it watching you…
@@443MoneyTrees I imagined something like you watch one of those unnerving unrated movies but the tape itself is recording everything you do... Because you're next.
usually not a big fan of args and such but this channel does a really good job at telling them
9:29 is literally one of my biggest fears when playing single player minecraft oh my god
I don’t get it.
@@RIPBillCooperneither do i
@@RIPBillCooperI think it's refering to knowing for certain that you're not alone, but not being able to see who or what exactly is following you.
The production value here is top notch
RGN this has developed so much there are 10 NEW VIDEOS on the channel please do an episode 2
I love the transitions. Such a underrated channel
Casper troopers
This is actually a really cool concept. I always like what I do to have a point to it, so a website like this would’ve been great for me to record what I do
If you have an Nvidia driver, GeForce lets you record back 30 minutes of what you just did so that already exists
Thr fact that Minecraft HAS an camera item makes this even better
had
@@liminalityy_bedrock still has it in the files, mainly being for education edition
My paranioa kicked in from the start cant have fun without being watched lol❤
Someone should make a seemingly innocent mod that actually puts a camera in a random location you stay in a lot and it faces a random orientaton as long as there arent any blocks in front of it, and then it gets streamed onto a website inspired by this one, it'd be cool
12:36 bro is playing a slide whistle
4:13 This reminds me of when Vanoss and his friends suddenly found H20Delirious' secret base, and thought his observer block was a camera
I spy a little bit of DCI at 12:00 and 14:50. Interesting to see the corps that I’ve marched pop up in a minecraft video
Maybe I know a thing or two about marching Troopers 😉
Yoooooo

was looking for this comment... HLD indeed
been looking for this comment 💀
I love the background music, it’s so 2010 creepypasta like
me playing minecraft after watching this: *i always feel like, somebody's watching me....*
and i have no privacy, oh woah
Anyone know the guys looking into mine watch? I explored a bit and I came across a strange cam. Title is “…..” id is: 2036 and the runtime before playback… is: NaNhNaNmNaNs… it’s a strange hallway made with obsidian and bedrock with birch fences on the roof and in the corners. There are 5 iron doors too. 3 of them appear to have a 1 block wide hole with iron bars…
oh boy they made Truman Show mod for Minecraft
lol
I just love this videos, but at the same time I am very nostalgic to the deep dives, I hope you make something cool with that, now that we have 1.20
nothing had the feel of being watched quite like pocket edition. it was such a surreal experience, especially the PE lite version
I swear I saw herobrine every day while playing PE back in the day, it was so liminal and creepy it gave me hallucinations in the low render distance fog
i giggle and kick my feet when RetroGamingNow uploads
This would be a great mod idea tho, people could craft cameras and place them around thier worlds if they have the mod, and a website would allow people to view the cameras that the people placed.
you could make a fun minigame with it too
These are very interesting explanations on these type of videos. Continue with what you do and always have a wonderful day. Keep up the good work as well 👍
Agreed
He's back, yall! Hey, Retro! I have an idea, Do a Minecraft theory on abandoned villages, or dungeons
"As soon as I wake 8 ball up" when a website knows your Minecraft name and knows your sleeping, that's when you know you need to shoot your screen
Dude for a solid 15 minutes i thought this video was about a real ass site
Wonder if those weird warbling noises would show something in a spectrogram? Idk, that was my first thought when I heard them
probably pitch alignment guides. It could help the clarity of the underlying voices...
Guys, the players know they are being watched. They set up a camera to show to minewatch.
How can I feel watched when I'm the one watching?
Love how you used transitions inspired by cheap 80s home video logos, it really adds to the seedy atmosphere of the subject
Nah i heard the ai too, it seems he replaces parts which he didnt like with an ai version of his voice to make it sound better
@@iglide he put a high-pass filter on his voice
