lenovo legion go 2 is gonna have 8.8 inch screen, and probably 80wh battery, i mean they should put 80 if they dont im gonna pass on that, and if they dont put 2 fans for cooling im also gonna pass on that
@@mustafashihab180 I'm in the same camp. And I would add to that: If they don't put an OLED in it, and it is heavier than the Ally X, not interested. Ally X is just perfect right now, I want 8 to 8.8in OLED VRR screen and Strix Point and 90 watt battery and then I'm done. Until then, Ally X it is ! :)
Great video. Almost ordered one of these but I decided not to cus I want something with a larger screen. I’m looking at the claw 8. Thinking purchasing one, trying it out, and see if I keep/return within the return window. Was hoping the Go 2 would have a release date. I’m expecting that will come out towards the end of the year.

True, but Apple is already putting TB5 ports in their mini pcs. Plus, Rog has TB5 in the new 50 series XG mobile that's coming out. This makes me think the next Ally will have a TB5 port, hopefully be an oled vrr display and keep the 80 watt battery with a Z2E chip

There's definitely a market for it, we are paying absurd prices for these overseas handhelds and people keep buying them 😅 I payed well over 2 grand Canadian for my 4tb 64gb ram win 4. Plus Asus has variety now with the z1, z1e, Ally x and whatever the next one will be. Coming out with an egpu that supports tb5 and has a 5090m in it, then only putting a USB 4 port on the new Ally seems like it will be extremely limited by bandwidth

Looks like an aweosme handheld, but it's way too expensive for the jump in real performance it has. Its one of my favorite designes, but onex needs to come closer to what the big boys are selling for to really be competitive.

I would love to see the prices come down, but I don't think they could ever compete with the big companies because they have much smaller batches which makes the cost higher overall. As a consumer, that's not really our problem but it is what it is. 🤷🏽♂️
Great handheld PC. but: The price is 1990€ for this device with the RyzenAI 9 HX 370 and 2 TB SSD. That's 1100 € more than the ROG Ally X. Not worth the extra money for a few fps more.
Framegen on miles morales looks soo bad on the Steam-Deck. I was only able to go from 45 to 55 without stutters. Anything more and it would lag SOO MUCH lol
Frame generation works and looks better at above 60fps. That’s ironic bc below fps is where you need the extra frames, but it just doesn’t look good a lot of the time.
@@seppeseppe-jq7nr 30mins? Even at 25w TDP you get over 1hr (around 85mins) To calculate battery life just take the total system power and divide the battery capacity by that. It’s a 50wh hour battery so to die in 30 minutes the total system power would have to be around 100w
