I've never heard of this movie, so I'm definitely going to check it out. Although I watched the entire Twilight series, I didn't think much of Robert Pattinson. But when I saw him in "The Lighthouse", I first didn't even recognize him and then secondly was blown away by his performance. I'm really interested to see him in this.

You are on top of this with your review. I loved this movie, but could never, ever express why in the most eloquent way in which you did. Until you mentioned that there were no gun fighting scenes it hadn't crossed my mind either. I always look forward to your words!

By the way, whenever you eventually get to my rant on The Batman, just know that my thoughts on that have changed quite a bit. Im very glad hes getting some recognition he might have had a bad start but he had to get some fame somehow all ive seen from him lately are very good movies(lighthouse,good time etc)glad you're one of the people that recognize real talent instead of bringing up his twilight movies

I've never even watched (or read) Twilight, but I never really had anything against it. I just wasn't particularly interested. But Robert Pattinson was fine as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. I've liked him at least pretty well in almost everything I've seen him in. Very talented guy for sure.
Actually, would you mind recommending my videos to other people you know who are interested in movies? I'm trying to grow my channel, and I think a big part of that process that I might be missing is word of mouth.
I just realized that all but one of the movies in this series are R, and that one is PG-13. Anyway, kids are ultimately a better time than Good Time (lol). They're not young forever.
It's a really stylish, odd movie. I enjoyed it a lot. Thinking of making analysis videos for the themes and messages of both Good Time and Uncut Gems, because I've seen a lot of people missing what's plainly right there as far as I can tell, and it's great stuff. But yes, Prisoners is better by a lot. It's better than every other movie I'm going to talk about except maybe one. I led with the best because I didn't want to have not talked about it if a meteor struck the earth or something before I finished the series.
Ha, I honestly haven't seen Den of Thieves. I was just trying to find the best example of "shootout scene" I could, and I was drawing a blank. I'll have to actually check it out.
Became a Pattinson fan boy after watching him act, and holding his own against the iconic Willem Dafoe. Thanks to your review I will now add this movie to my collection.

Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Taliah Webster, Buddy Duress, everyone was so fantastic in this movie.
