For those who complain the game is too easy... simple... don't make higher tier gear/weapon. Until everyone is OP with nothing but a spoon and naked (Skyrim reference) just make it as difficult as you want by limiting yourself... create your own challenges. No need to punish everyone else since you've maxed things out and are bored. I do agree with the post the video is about.
Fair take, but for me its the challenge and the rewards. I assume the harder it gets the better the loot which had been the case with Hard Mode. With that gone I'm now looking forward to seeing what we get in the Lunar Oracle scenarios.. Hopefully its good.
@@TroyGamingtv maybe should not have increased difficulty on a public event in open world? i prefer the game to have a custom global modifier like Division 2, so if certain players want some challenge they can just turn on the options and it will affect everything in the map, for them only, that way players that want to chill can still do everything normally as it is. well, not like any global events are tough, but we shall see how Lunar Oracle nightmare mode perform, because "making the gameplay harder" or make it "more annoying to play" is different story.
The problem with "hard-core" gamers is they download these games, watch a few videos to see where all the "important" stuff is, then just **run through the game at mach speed** and basically "beat" the game in 3 days. Then they spend months b*tching and moaning that there isn't enough content. I just entered Phase 3 for the first time so I've got about 2 weeks into this game... I just hit level 50. I'm DOING the quests, listening to the storyline, interacting with the NPC's, exploring the world, building my base and learning along the way. I've made a bunch of "mistakes" along the way, but that's okay because this is a GAME. It's not a status symbol of my gaming expertise and a symbol of my worth as a human being. **It's a GAME** - just relax a little bit and enjoy it! You don't have to "beat" it in 3 days to prove to all your friends how great you are. The Devs creating a "Nightmare Mode" won't accomplish anything, other than taking time away from fixing bugs or other development because these same people b*tching now about content will just "beat" Nightmare Mode in a SINGLE DAY and then go right back to b*tching again.
This. I personally hate the timegating the game has, but, I am ok with it. I have been playing the game since launch and its been a blast. Some quirks here and there. But, the game is like 5 mo old. People crying that content is taking too long has NEVER played an MMO game where there can be a year between ANY content. I loathe rage baiters. The game is still new. Its not a single player game. Its meant to be around for a long time hopefully.
I agree with you and I also kinda take my time with the content. That said, my first server was a novice manibus, loved it! Then I switched to way of winter, VERY buggy, still loved it. Now, since the first manibus I played was novice, I moved to a normal manibus to get shiny deviants and etc.... ....I literally have nothing to do. Your point of view comes clearly from this being, basically, your first time playing the game. BUT remember the foundations of this game are about replaying the same content....and that's where the biggest problems lie. Enjoy your playtime now, you will end up in the same place I am, and many others are. The game needs more content, because now we have to wait 'till like at least JULY to have a new scenario. That's repeating at least 3 scenarios more while waiting for new content. And yes, you can play other games, I usually do that. But you know what also happens when I play other games? I start feeling like not coming back. And that's a problem
I agreed with the asset loading part. Also wanted to add on that I bump into invisible player base all the time if I’m on my bike. Apparently the asset loading doesn’t take into consideration on the speed that player travel which is odd to see building start loading only after we clashed into them.
Happy New Year buddy, and I definitely agree with this guy, really well elaborated points. I hope the devs try to fix these issues. Especially the larger walls would be awesome and also the light flickering
Happy New Year! I would love the larger walls! I like to build rooms 2 or 1.5 high so I don't feel boxed in.. even in real life I need a house with high ceilings lol. I think i have issues.
When I started playing Fortnite I found the PVE section with building and traps; made from the crafting and gathering, was a lot of fun and then that mode went away. Since then I have been looking for a game similar and I found it in Once Human. I just started this game (level 8 at this time) so through watching videos like this and many others I get the information needed; TY for that. I'm another one of "those guys" that will invest money into a game; call it through a "battle pass" or "Micro Transaction" as long as things do not start to over all effect the game and that is tricky. Because in my 50+ years alive and 20+ of it in the IT sector of work I have never met anyone totally happy with anything game related. It is nice to hear/read that the developers are reading the comments from players and responding; that is unique for a gaming company, I like it.
Haha. Lotta good points in that post, many I 100% agree with. Especially the skins. Biggest gripe I've had and what I literally just grumbled outloud to myself today after browsing the shop and checking the "upcoming skins" event page is "Why is every skin a neon bubble-gum pop e-girl uwu barf skin? where's the steampunk gears and pulleys? where's the rusty old medieval implements? where's the DARK GRITTY stuff? I'm not a hardcore macho man but I'm legit put off by the far too 'flamboyant' skins that's our only option.
@pullthatup2973 Then the “pros” gonna cry about how nightmare mod isnt worth doing and the “noobs” doing pro is getting the same reward with less effort.
@lHawkel and the cycle repeats. There's no pleasing everyone but one thing majority will agree is that we need more stuff to do ingame. They need less 3d artists on skins and more on map development.
@@pullthatup2973and that work with any MMO raid encounter except for Once Human. Even in MMO shooter like Destiny, raid is there for better variety of loots and cosmetics. Any player who complaints about raid being difficult for them gets cold shoulder from the community.
@@pullthatup2973 That would definitely help! Focus on creating more missions of different variety. That's what people liked about Skyrim and Fallout 4 was that modders kept adding new content to the game even out of the way content to keep it interesting.

So there is one-time-use(OTU) furniture. For new players it maybe interesting alternative for base building, when you don't have formula, but it have downsides. 1. You can't sell it, it doesn't have in-game value between players, also it doesn't avaible as option in VM (fix VM pools btw). 2. You also can't store it, but at the same time it have whole another tab for this kind of furniture. 3. At some point your one-time-use furniture tab became flooded and hit capacity limit. The third one is kinda big problem, because you still will recive one-time-use furniture from storages, crates, etc. Well, you can say that you can just leave it on location, but when you do it - pool of place when you found it will not(!) be updated. You can came at same place, same crate, open it for materials and....here is your one-time-use furniture! The solution that came into my mind is nice, good and simple. OTU furniture to Formula conversion! For example if i have 5 OTU "Desktop PC" i can use designer table to convert it into one "Desktop PC" formula. Standart (gray) ratio 3:1 Normal (green) ratio 5:1 Common (blue) ratio 7:1 At the same time add ability to put OTU furniture in VM, it will also will make in-game trades better and change in-game value of OTU furniture for players. P.S. Since icons of OTU furniture and furniture formulas are the same, if you implement this feature - add a little visual marker on item. Less confusion - better expirience!.
VM Big rework update idea: 1. Vending Machine now have private storage for player. You can store items for future selling in it. 2. Vending Machine now have auto-refill from stock option. Now VM looks clean and you don't need to scroll 10 solar drills to find a whim potions. 3. Vending Machine now have ability to deploy contracts! Another player can finish the contract (bringing enough required materials) and recive selected amount of energy links. 4. Vending Machine item pool that can be traded reworked. *added new items, fixed old items, etc* 5. Traded position now can have optional limits per player (can't buy more than 20 whim potions per day for example) 6. Fixed map issue with icons, when items are for sale, or for exchange (separate stats) 7. Now you can deploy requests for other players (WTB 6/6 Furance) and player can sign up for completing that request if player is online.
The turn around on that one in-game setting was pretty quick :) Unless it was always there and we didn't know about it. I do hope they take all these suggestions and run with them. It felt like a lot of low hanging fruit. I agree the game is really amazing, they just need to keep working on it. I feel like Mobile was a big priority and shifted a lot of focus from developing the main game, hopefully console versions don't do the same.
@TroyGamingtv I keep on joking with my wife & her cousin, who asked if I would ever go back. I say, "All I'll do is go fishing." Stamina armor set. Bed perk. All overkill, but it makes me happy, cooking dishes & growing corn with the frog deviant. If I miss the bed perk, I'll be a little sad.
with all due respect this game atm feels just ''just buy and collect em all'' with big fomo .. gameplay wise I dont see anything rly changing when viewing roadmap .. 700h in and im done with this same grinding loop ..
Yeah, I think a lot of us are taking a break right now. I'm obviously going to try out the new stuff everytime it releases so I can make content for those still playing and new players but we REALLY need something big and new soon!
City of Heroes.. Wow, thats old. I played it on release for like a month and then quit. I had a website "Thegoodsauce.com" where I wrote guides and tips for all the latest MMOs.
The game is well built and has lots going for it. What is missing is engagement. Connectors hinder the game play. Asterism has now rendered half the game un necessary to play. Mods like resonance and Burn on Burn mods are useless. NPW. PW , Manibus drops So what exactly are we playing for now?
Been playing for 3 seasons now. Id like to see these happen; - Wish machine is cosmetics only. - Unlimited purification with rewards balanced as needed. - Blueprints to open the item to craft and leveling based on usage. - Accessories usability based on weapon levels. - Add armor accessories - Mod usability based on item level. - If my character doesnt starve when Im offline, suspend spoilage timers inside the fridge when offline. - I agree with the nightmare level difficulty suggestion. - The rift anchors and/or monoliths should have some affect on the world not just gate keeping. The effect should be negative when incomplete and neutral to positive after being cleared. This could lead to wider scaled public crisis events to defend them.
I'm pretty much just waiting for custom servers to see what options I have available / if they cost. I just want this to be a super casual game at this point. I went hard on the first two seasons, suffered an IRL loss and missed all of way of winter as my third season. When I came back, I was too deep into the season and kept auto dying as soon as I'd leave my house, all my friends had quit and then I started hearing about how the bosses were the same as Manubus (for the most part) and once again the story just ended without a conclusive feeling. After I finally got a chance to run around I got killed by a random super anomaly in a low level zone and then ran out of Molotov's trying to melt ice in a factory. I'm giving WoW a second chance now starting fresh, but it's getting to be a struggle to log in atm. I'm doing the same things all over again, but being cold on top of it. I really hope they can pull some magic out soon since I've been waiting on this game for a very long time ( I love the art style and overall aesthetic of it). If it's just a honey moon phase coming to an end, I understand and I guess 500hrs was a pretty good run. The Devs have something special going here and I hope they can reclaim some of that anticipation people felt before.
Sorry about your loss. I'm looking forward to the custom servers as well. Hopefully we get more info about them soon, I think it can save the game for a lot of people.
The Climate design is a bit rough around the edges. Sometimes the temperatures fall or rise way too fast in a few meters. I had it happened often that even with the best cold protection gear, when one of those chaos weavers or a blizzard is in effect, you can't do what you intend to do, and I signed off again. There is a high rank cooking recipe which helps alot vs the climate troubles I had, I think it was +50 heat+cold resistance. I don't remember it's name right now, but it was relative cheap to craft. 2 of 4 different plants (Icy melon, Mints, and two others). I suggest you try to learn this recipe asap, or you will find only little enjoyment with WoW.
Then they wouldn't be side quests "insert meme".. I do think there is some incentive in doing the quests at least once though so you can do the simplified version later. I've been slacking on a bunch to be honest but do want to do them all eventually.
after playing 4 weeks in way of winter ... today i logged in.. had all my gear ready for hot risistant weather same as i do everytime ... but to my surprise... i was dead in 7 seconds ... tried again but dead again .... went back to my base which was in a bit cold weather .. changed gear into cold resistant ... but same thing happened .. dead in 7 seconds .. tried many times but same thing ... didnt even have time to do anything ... very strange bzc i didnt do anything different other thab what i have been doing for last weeks ...😮😮
@TroyGamingtv no ... nothing .. just keep dying so fast for no reason ... even though all gear and food set for heat and cold resist ... will try again today .. thanks ..
The player dropoff the last 6 months has been insane, I stopped playing after the multiple issues I ran into playing, its quality is starting to speak for itself, its sad because its an amazing game!
I took a long break after doing one normal season and then the Manibus thing. Now ive returned and im busy enjoying the Ways Of Winter part. I think the game has so much potential, what I really want is more creepy things and that we can build awful looking crackhouses to distill acid in, and not pretty mansions that dont belong in a post apocalypse game.
I think it's only gonna apply to new servers that started with/ after the event launch... these arseholes are too petty/ greedy to incorporate that kind of event into an existing realm/ server. Either way, unless it's just an event like the Christmassy crap, don't waste your time day 1, the bugs will make you quit before the enemies kill you. NetE.... yeah no, can't even finish their name, that's how half baked they do things. Spent 7 hours watching the twitch streams to get the car skin, and I don't get shit, because my name was force changed 3 months ago, and the server I was in, has long since ended... so my account got unlinked and I can go fck myself I guess... useless support don't work either. Still, free shit, so not getting it doesn't hurt me, but it kills the vibe and hopes I had. Tbh, the game seems like it was made by the barely passing grade of fresh graduates at an IT college with a bootlegger version of UE... Nevermind quality control, it seems like they don't even think the most basic of things through... always fixing in hindsight, when it was a clearly obvious/ exploitable concept. (Things like building in water on pvp servers or spawning the deviant chamber underground by moving your bases on Prism servers). They're not looking at the game, they're looking at the cosmetics. It looks like Alpha LoL with Current LoL's shop already, with skins for characters that haven't even been designed yet.
100% agree. With the longer development time this may be the perfect game to play for a bit then break a few months then come back. V Rising is another like that.
This is a hell of a non-news news if I saw any! A huge whale made a complain post(a well thought one in my opinion) and developers responded is the most basic corporate way imaginable. Nothing happened.
True! Although I think theres probably a disconnect from their US based marketing team and the China based developers. I'm hoping they are actually working on implementing these suggestions while the marketing team passes along some generic corporate answers.
They told us (creators) in November they were rolling out new server hardware along with the updates to server optimization by the end of that month but never heard anything about if it was implemented. I do know that I am not personally experiencing any lag anymore besides menus loading. Did you try disabling others effects in the settings or is it happening when solo too.
The devs are lucky to get a rare genre of a game like this.. this could really be a good game of the time.. im giving them my best wishes for them.. so i could enjoy the game more..
Somethign very frustratring for me are they implemented several QoL improvements to WoW and didn't add it to Manibus. My Hive has been playing on WoW for two cycles, we moved back to Manibus and had to split up because the Hive limit is still only 8 on Manibus. Several stopped playing, a few moved back to WoW and it has left a bunch more of us thinking about moving on to another game. The cradle is level dependent on WoW and still encounter locked on Manibus, bases start full size on WoW and are not on Manibus, there are a bunch more those are the ones that come to mind.
My game is broke, when I fire my gun my bullet holes are made of light and stay on all surfaces. My lights flicker, my fps is so random, game engine needs help.
Starry has several issues; including bad communication about updates, scenario transition issues, and of course content. With Starry only opening servers every four days now, this rarely lines up with the end of an existing scenario and causes people to either have to hope to get codes, wait for the next server, or most likely just stop playing the game. Also the sign up cap for servers seems stupidly low as it took less than two hours to fill the 1/1 servers this morning, leaving out people that are either working or traveling due to the holidays. This has been an issue for several scenarios now and the sign up 'system' seemed to only make this worse. However Starry studio is pushing a new battlepass, fomo gamble crate, and cosmetics pack with the 1/1 patch. 😩
I was able to sign up for a Hard Mode server that was 11 days old a few days ago so I think it may be getting a little better. However, I would hold off on signing up for anything new until the 16th with the new servers. -- the new sign up with friends thing also should help fix the issue if you do the random sign up and not the choice sign up. It will make sure you all get on the same server. I did a video on the mechanic details when it came out like a month ago.
Our hive has little to no interest in the Vision/Spirit wheel stuff currently. We want to jump into WoW for the second time to see if it has been improved since the initial release. Worse case if something un-documented shows up that makes the 16th release interesting, we all have our early exit options.
when you said they probably bought their cosmetics it made me realize how much of the game is likely a hodgepodge of assets bought and put together into a somewhat functional game. I am under the impression its an amateur dev team with access to an influx of money from netease, and they don't actually have many, if any, internal designers. This would explain why theres so many asset flips for way of winter, the lack of functional content, and the huge push on lootbox cosmetics. They're trying to reimburse the excessive purchases on assets used on the game (and probably other mismanaged internal dealings). All in all, in my opinion, it doesn't pose well for the long term health of the game. Mismanagement of their company resources is what has gotten a lot of recent companies in hot water with their playerbases.
They mentioned in a previous post or video that they had 300 employees and were looking to expand to 400 and in their studio videos it shows a lot of devs working so I don't think it's an amateur team. However, I do think based on how generic the skins are and the speed in which they pump them out, that it's probably purchased from some vendor. I don't hate that because a lo of it looks awesome, but it would be cool if they did more game themed content.
@@TroyGamingtv i've been in companies before where they purposely inflated their numbers to pitch to corporations. Frankly the feeble amount of content coming out of a supposed "400" person studio is ridiculous. This feels more like the workload of a 12 person dev team. Who knows, maybe their company is 400 people full, but the majority of that is definitely not on developers.
Hi Troy thanks for the post. As for skins I don't mind the oddball skins here & there say like ya Panda suit my thing is tone dwn the pricing. A game has to have a certain unique variety to it in order to keep players coming back. I'm still wanting a no reset for ya character. Loot drops could be better I think & also bring dwn crafting requirements a bit as well. I like to play & not grind (all the time) I keep thinking I want to start it back up & take a peek @ but then I realize I'd have to grind my fingers off on the controller 2get everything back I had. And like the guy that made the post I've dabbled in the game industry. I'm a DICE Community Playtester, I've made custom MP maps for F.E.A.R. - FarCry 1 & 2 - Unreal Tournament 3 & 4 & Unreal 4. I'm 55yrs old & I got a late start in online gaming @ 36yrs old lol.
The reset isn't bad since you start with anything important and your house auto saves the blueprint. Bring over a Drill, Chainsaw and a few deviations from the previous season and you're cooking again. Also you get to keep all your mods so you start off OP. However, I had an idea of organizing a bunch of people on Reddit to all join the same server that want it to go on forever and then we all just stay when phase 6 hits.. they made it so they don't shut down the server anymore as long as there are active players.
Tried to get into the winter map since 3 weeks, the available ones arent available for some reason and you get to choose a other one. But that ones caped...kinda rediculous.
I would agree with everything he has stated I love the game and will continue playing but when I first started playing bugs weren’t to bad but after each update and new cosmetics I noticed it getting worse and worse so when they fix one bug two more appear so it does really feel like they are just rushing thru to put stuff out they don’t listen to well to consumers
To be fair as someone thats played a LOT of live service games, fixing one bug and introducing 2 more seems to be the unfortunate norm. As long as it's not game breaking I take it as a part of the cost of getting lots of updates.. Now, they just need to give us all those updates :)
@@paradisehavenparadisehaven9657 when you log in you go to the new system and click claim all. They automatically give you all the starchrom for the first two weeks
I did as well but then T&L got to be too much with their auction house and currencies if you weren't spending RL money so I came back. Now im playing POE 2 and this.. POE 2 is amazing if you haven't tried it yet.
$0 in, been playing hard since release. 1200hrs. winning. The stuff people complain about in a game is wild. Do not care about minor bugs that dont effect gameplay at all. Do not care about cosmetics and shop shenannigans. More content, gameplay, guns, items, gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. Stuff to do.
I have been buying the battle passes but outside of that everything else was gifted. Totally a game you can enjoy for hundreds/thousands of hours without paying a cent through.
I think people saying 'moar content' is getting lost in translation. Isn't more in loot crates/cosmetics etc "content" of a game in literal sense? Just say you want more dungeons so they know.
loading territory when x distance is a HORRIBLE idea because of LOD hackers in prismverse doing just that. Welcome to wall hacking, shooting though walls, and getting hit by someone from inside the base and not knowing because he can scope you and you have no loaded his territory in. The game needs MORE SERVERS, and not more VIRTUAL SERVERS. IT needs MORE PHYSICAL SERVERS but they are too focused on loot crates, to give a dayam. This is why a lot of us are fed up. Loot Crates > More Physical servers. And Netease is not in the financial possition to support the game either, along with Tencent having no interest in gobbling netease, because they rather consume UBISOFT.
Well, i'm giving away the car at least so you can have a chance at winning that :) I do love the skin though, maybe it will go on sale at some point, they like to rotate sales.
I got tired of the AI responses to my service requests. Being told to "restart the game, restart steam, restart my PC," because I told them that for the SECOND TIME IN A ROW I wasn't able to carry over items into a new phase isn't acceptable. My friends were all able to carry over their items that I crafted for them, but I wasn't able to. I uninstalled OH over a month ago and I won't go back to it until the devs put more effort into the game & fixing it than they do on the lightforge crates that they think are worth hundreds of dollars lol
This game has slowly shifted from a casual player embracing game, to a focus on the hardcore players that have the time to sink 8 to 12 hours a day into the game, not to mention a willingness to spend hideous amounts money on loot crate gambling. As a casual player, I don't need a nightmare mode; hard and pro are just fine for me. I've been through three seasons (currently in my fourth) and been in two different Hives, both I have been removed from for not being available enough. From now on I will be in my own hive with my 3 characters. I'll be helpful to the community at large, but I don't see myself ever becoming a hardcore player. Edit: oh, the other point I wanted to make. I've noticed that if a take a few days off, such as a recent holiday trip, my production stops at a certain point. I can understand actual facilities when they don't get enough power, but my tar puddings after 3 days had produced a total of 17 gas each over a three day period. Super not casual friendly.
It’s a cash extraction shooter. It’s got the bare minimum content that allows them to continue to sell micro transactions. I enjoy the game but I bear no misconception on what it is.
I really don't think that person's takes represent all players. The majority of players will just "build" a floor to put all things there, without even a roof. So I don't think a big % of the playerbase spends "most of their time in base building". The guy doesn't mention the lack of content, wich is the BIGGEST issue the game has. Yes, bugs are bad, the game has a ton of things that need a quality of life pass, the game is easy af too. But if people has new things to do, a new map to explore, new enemies and etc, ALL those other issues are waaaaaaaaaaaaay less important. Posts like this are a problem imho, because they move attention away from the real issues the game has.
I stated the same thing at the start, I think the biggest issue is lack of content but these are all some good suggestions as well. I think the longevity of the game and the people with 1000s of hours played are going to be those that enjoy the base building.. outside of that there isn't a lot of repayable content currently. I think they know this but their response would be "Lunar Oracle coming.." which they know won't fly with the fans.
@@TroyGamingtv I mean, I'm still gonna be here for the new updates, but them being a "seasonal" thing? I like the idea, but the fact that I will have to play on the same maps takes away a lot of the hype. And I'm only on my third server, started on manibus novice, moved to WoW and then back to manibus to get the few things like recipes and etc I missed....just reached phase 5 I think, but literally I have not played in over a week. I just open the game, walk a bit on my base, craft a couple things and then I log out, there's nothing to do. The new starchrom system too, it is kinda good...but at the same time it gives me a reason to not do a lot of things I used to do to get starchrom. Like PW. There's no reason outside the one time for season goals to do them now. And that creates a whole other issue: there's no reason to farm oil for missiles now, so that also removes a lot of the things we had to in "preparation". There's also no reason to get 400k EL for phase 6 now, wich also removes things to do. And yes, I could just do PW and save the asterism crates, also buy them on phase 6 and save them for next month....so I have less asterism to farm, wich will lead me to do even LESS things? Yeah, idk my dude. Its gonna be rough.
@@LarsUriel I like the building too. I even saved the house blueprint on the first server I played but never used it because I keep building different houses every time. But that's not even close to be the most important aspect of the game
This lunar oracle mode isn't going to be shit to players with multiple seasons under their belt. Anyone who has ever placed there territory in 180% rads just to farm acid will tell you, its not that hard to play the game with 80% sanity taking up your health bar and reducing you down to almost no HP.
I love the cosmetics. tho i would like more fitting themes. i dont mind the skins they make as they look really good. i cant understand why other players have so much of an issue with this. when really and truly the only issue with cosmetics is the fact that most skins dont look as good on male characters as they do on female.
Love the game but there is really a lot of bugs. I have nearly spent $1000 USD on cosmetics as I love working on territories within this game. With all the bugs, I'm not sure if I can justify spending more, as I am not really making as much as I use to with my current job, in this current season. I feel that the loot crates are just way too expensive, Spending up wards of $400 just trying to get the current the Hype territory cosmetic bundle. Key word is trying, I have not successfully acquired it. Will there be a way to get pass themes. I was able to see some items from visiting other territories, that was offered before I started playing this game. Would love the chance to win or purchase these items, so I can use them on my territory or game play, like the sport car skin cosmetic.
I think the best chance we have of them scaling back the loot crates is for everyone to spend less on them. They were doing so well for like 3 weeks in a row with only 3 draw crates that maxed at like $180 but then this last one shot back up. If they are listening to actual feedback they will go back to that and offer more one-off purchases in the shop.. Also, they should bring back crates. They don't need to be one and done.. even games like Fortnite (i have young kids) bring back skins all the time.
I did a poll on controllers awhile back and most people ended with like 100 controllers at the end of the season (me included) so don't think that's affecting many people.. however, since it's not affecting many people then maybe just remove the mechanic.. it's one of those "feels bad" things.
Players tend to save controls until pro mode. So for the first three weeks of a scenario there is only preparation for pro. Silo and boss are available from the first week right, but if you burn the controls before pro you won’t get the best loot. My friend and I normally run each silo 5 times daily and each boss 5 times. On average 50 controls per day and we get 3 from events. Not to mention controls are need for the PW reward crates and events if you want the best loot.

I had to laugh at a few of the answers because they were so generic but I think its marketing/translation. I think OH cares about the game but they are probably a little over their head right now with trying to do so much at once. I wish they would just slow down and focus on the current content.
1700hrs afk in his base, not gonna believe BS like he played all that active hours moving around in the game Things i dont like is no regional pricing and the fact that black desert online an open world with loading screen runs better on remastered graphics settings than low settings on once human If they add nightmare mode they better be making the loot worth it or else its just another mode with same loot garbage RNG
Ima just bord nuffin to do that hasnt been done, manibus is correct, clash is pvp, an winter wazz a miss for me, compleated it all, i cannot seem to put a finger on what it is but i feel i need more to do, but datz me.
With this custom whatever.. they're trying to get the chance that the warcraft FT game had with DOTA.. I just wish that ileach account have a copyright for their own custom game just to secure everyone..
I like all most all the stuff this guys reddit post had to say except for one, I'm no fing millionaire, seriously $1300 omg. someone is single or needs a hobby. J/K but still $1300 is way to much even for a free to play game. Their are many games out there that you get more Bang for buck then Once Human. The skins for building are seriously over priced, Getting the cool car skin and Motorcycle skin are insane, it's not even a pay wall, it's clearly Gambling and your getting people hooked to pay your salaries. I can't even spend money on a whole outfit, so constantly opening crates to maybe get it. My suggestion would be to lower the cost 40% to 50% less then what they are now. so instead of paying $49.00 for glass building skin it would 19.99 or 24.99. I will guarantee you will get a hell of a lot more business and word of mouth about the games Outfits and skins. Now i know theirs gonna some of you who are gonna say then just don't play or pay. Great thanks for your input But I like to support games just like this person did and I just can't. I just can't afford too based on I like to eat and keep a roof over my head. I'm not the only one several others in my Clan have expressed the same issues. If this game is gonna survive then all of these problems have be addressed or it will go away like so many others who didn't listen to their community.
Thanks for noticing that.. Not sure, I record at 1440p and upload at 1080p. Now that I have the new PC I should upload at the full 3440x1440.. I do need to look into why TH-cam downgraded the quality though. Appreciate it.
Me and my friend might be idiots.. but LEA being to easy?.. we tried first season.. and gave up haven't done it since.. and the cry baby boss.. is just annoying and don't want to do it ever again. Id rather have some actual Dungeon runs like other MMO's on a big scale like raids, other than the prime wars... and farming for things like the sprawlets or what ever.. is also not something we want to do only when everyone leaves the server because, apparently people can cheat and ain't banned, flying in the sky like a bird, and 1 shotting you out of the butt... and it's been going on at least this whole season.. so yeh.
Game isnt interesting cause the difficulty doesnt exist at all... Have 1k5 hours on one account, 2k total if i put my 5 accounts together. Game is good and has a lot of potentiel but for some reason devs just do what ever with their game. For PvE for example the game need some sort of ''hardcore'' mod. For example dungeons level 70. Would really hard content will ''punish'' more casual players? Well no, for example the reward for doing lvl 70 dungeon should be just a bit better that s it so others dont lose anything not doing the hardcore content. Problem also comes from stupid choices like Winter Towers... purifications arent even needed to use the Tower buffs, like wtf? Solution would be soooo simple to make it just better => Towers should be purified to get the buffs working and those purifications should make World Boss spawn. Players base should be able to get destroyed by those World Bosses, so players can choose OP Buffs but have a risk to get their base destroyed or just build their base no in Tower Range so it cant get destroyed. Phase 2 => Tower lvl 10 max and normal mobs / Phase 3 => Tower max lvl 20 and small World Boss / Phase 4 => Tower max lvl 30 and big World Boss Still the game need content and the only way it can survive in the long term is good PvP mod. Lets be real 2 months isnt enough to make a new map and brand new content even worse if you want polished content. So the only way to make the game last is give some PvP content that will please more Hardcore players and PvP lovers. New PvE content shouldnt be abandonned cause it s a good way to make a brake between PvP session and chill in PvE too. Honnestly Prismverse wasnt bad, with few changes it could be a really good PvP mod.
Anecdotal 100% story of mine. I was raiding homes with the Choasweaver in WW during its first month and a half launch (Yes I was being that griefing guy.) I noticed that the homes who had the paid glass pack/purple party home house cosmetics, the Choasweaver attacks would not register the first few hits of the Choasweaverrs attacks (the fireballs/iceballs, the fire/ice saw blade) and sometimes there would even be a protective barrier around the homes to stop them from being damaged. The key diffrence here, is when I would kite the CW attacks to a base that had no paid cosmetics, the CW attacks landed much much easier. I raided a total of 87 players in about 3 weeks. The routine was, I would aim for the noncosmetic houses knowing the attacks are much easier to kite on them, and then work on kiting attacks to the paid cosmetic houses last since they were more finnicky to be damaged. There is/was some kind of additional protection coded into the game so the paid cosmetic houses wouldnt be destroyed as easily. i still was able to destory most of them, but it was absoutely a lot more effort and much harder. In trolling, I witnessed what to me seemed like pay to win mechanics, even if said advantage was in the PVE scenario. IT seemed the people who paid were receiving a level of protection from a game breaking glitch that shouldnt have existed in the first place. Very wierd. So that entire time I was raiding from start of WW to about a month an a half in, I was active in the discord. Despite being one abusiing the CW, I was advocating in the discord the enitre time that the CW's home damage either needs to be stopped immediately OR they need to turn off loot drops from crates. I repeated this every couple of days in the discord, also saying that I was actively raiding. About a month in, the devs said they made some hotfixes to mitigate the issue BUT they didnt say what it was. I continued to abuse the CW raiding exploit. What I witnessed was the CW was slightly harder to kite attacks, and if the game somehow "sensed" you were using the CW to kite attacks, it would flag you as a absusive player and the CW would either not target you, or the attacks were nullified (so i would still target and attack you, but all its attacks wouldnt do no damage to you or to the envirnments.) This was the hot fix they added. With persistence and logging in and out constantly, you coulde bypass their fix and get the CW to attack and target normally. Thats all the devs did to fix it. SO after that bad hot fix and about a month and a half into WW and typing out the problem on Discord, I finally wrote exactly what I observed going on about the cosmetic bases having extra damage protection than non paid homes. I said I think the devs have coded covert pay to win mechanics into the game. It started a mini conversation in the discord about if the devs were cheating the playerbase. THE VERY NEXT DAY, the Developers had CW damage turned off and issued a lame written apology. They couldve done this action from the beginning, but waited. Now I dont know if it was my post in discord that outed them. I will never know and I cant say I 100% am sure they made the change because of what I had said in their discord, but the timing was very very odd considering they couldve done the exact action to turn off the CW far ealier. It has had me questioning the studios integrity ever since. Fron that point on I absoutely do not trust anything these people come out and say.
just hit 1.500 hours and i agree to all of these suggestions. after 3 season its so boring if you dont make enough friends to play with cause its too easy! we need a NIGHTMARE MODE ASAP and the skins in these game are either too flashy or over sexualized which not all people like including the battlepass which have these goofy skins.
i mean not surprised this game is still broken these devs literally lied to our faces when they told us there would be no gacha boxes (lightforge) and look what happened
You know all of their responses, were very unsatisfactory. His post hits it on the head how poorly optimized this game is. I don't know why they even bothered replying because all it will do is make people angry. They have had good ideas (mostly) but then poorly execute them. I just don't see that changing. I still enjoy the game. If they allowed you to re-roll memetics, instead of not being able to see the ones you unlocked withoput burning a controller. They love gambling so much, but then again if they did that they would probably want to charge you money. Cause that is the main thing they are concerned about and game design after.
We have other avenues on the memetics so it's not terrible, i think it just slows down the start which they want. You can easily post in general looking for X and then someone will likely have it for sale by week 2-3. Thats how I ended up with 4/4 on the furnaces this season.
first happy new year friend and more year to come about the person that wrote that they need to hire him the stuff he said are not just small stuff even the cosmetic themed stuff cause as seller if you want more money you have to give ppl what they want and about the lag from the frost vortex it very big issue for me my pc is trash honestly but i have to use weapon like shrapnel because of that lag in some of the status weapons and the new key effect make it worst
Happy New Year! I agree, they need to get this guy on payroll fast :) Although, its people like him that will likely take the reigns when the custom servers and hopefully modding comes out and we will start getting a lot of stuff the community wants. Thats how it usually works.
I prefer the sexy outfits myself.. but I would also like to see more skins that are along the same theme of the game, a lot of them feel generic.. So count me in for sexy themed outfts!
One of the sets that shows the most skin is the most thematic sets in the game, the Test Subject Set. If there was a way to use crafted armour in a cosmetic slot I would be using that for thematic reasons alone.
well game is failing so bad 90% already quit and pls dont tell me im wrong i been playing this game seen beta 2 and yes the update is only for cosmetic but no new content and dont comment about winter update its a big failure ohhh and yes the game is loop game ask veteran how many times they start all over again with same concept
resetting a server without resetting gear and mods is pointless Season 1 everyone's even Season 2 Most have Gold mods and gear Season 3 everyone has all gold mods and gear Season 4 everyone is crying about its too easy The cure reset everything and extend the season 2 times the length. I didnt say the cure was popular but we all know the game is too easy .
I can see this argument but I think the game is meant to build your character as they experience new scenarios. This does lead to over leveling content and bigger gaps in player power but with the new starchrom and wish machine systems I think that fixes the player power gap, now we just need harder content.
you're the guy that complains about not resetting all but majority of people dont event want the reset, the reset itself is "soft" to counter some of this scenario resetting and u going back to start and it helps with clearing dungeons and get back to ur feet, the game literally has a "dead" end end game is like running silo all over again just to get good mods or calibrations., which is the niche of all people cause thats literally you play the game for unless you play minecraft with it. hell that take is pointless, they should put content more its bland when u get to the end.
Just casually watching this and then suddenly realize we are on the same server and see my house!
Don’t you love that!? ❤️
How exactly does it punish anyone else by offering a higher difficulty tier?
@@TroyGamingtv well thats u dude 99% of the players are not pro gamers you are a minority not the majority
Hi casual once every week login player 😊
Facts every update ppl are still complaining it never ends, ppl that have spent this many hours in this game will cry once they have "nothing" to do
I can guarantee all the speed runners havent done 50% of the side quests. and still complain about the lack of content.
W take mate
Oh my god...I slam into invisible houses in my vehicles ALL THE TIME because they don't load fast enough.
@@TroyGamingtv nah you dont, I love high ceilings too
I am hoping they fix the alignment of the corner pieces for 1/4 roofs. It has been bugging me for ages.
1300+ in game..and im still learning how to get a gold wool and legendary hides..im still far from bored i guess..since im not trying WOW either..
im 1.1k in game and just tame my first animal yesterday lol
They need to hire him to help fix the game! he seems super invested!
Great video as always. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Adding Nightmare mode is just gonna cause them to complain about it being to difficult if they can't beat it
Make it so rewards are the same as pro so cry babies won't miss out on anything.
What do you think about the devs' response to this detailed Reddit post? Are there any specific changes you’re excited about-or anything you feel they missed? Let me know your thoughts below! Plus, share your own suggestions for the future of Once Human-your idea might just make it into the game! 👇
Standart (gray) ratio 3:1
Normal (green) ratio 5:1
Common (blue) ratio 7:1
At the same time add ability to put OTU furniture in VM, it will also will make in-game trades better and change in-game value of OTU furniture for players.
P.S. Since icons of OTU furniture and furniture formulas are the same, if you implement this feature - add a little visual marker on item. Less confusion - better expirience!.
VM Big rework update idea:
*added new items, fixed old items, etc*
5. Traded position now can have optional limits per player (can't buy more than 20 whim potions per day for example)
6. Fixed map issue with icons, when items are for sale, or for exchange (separate stats)
7. Now you can deploy requests for other players (WTB 6/6 Furance) and player can sign up for completing that request if player is online.
I've thrown the towel already. Love the game. Wish it were better but this guy points it out better.
I'm obviously going to try out the new stuff everytime it releases so I can make content for those still playing and new players but we REALLY need something big and new soon!
this person didnt played city of heroes when they implemented the architect content the player base only played the ones that gave you most XP
City of Heroes.. Wow, thats old. I played it on release for like a month and then quit. I had a website "Thegoodsauce.com" where I wrote guides and tips for all the latest MMOs.
Had no clue you played on my server lol! Been watching your content since I started playing
Spending 1300 dollars in a game is ridiculous
For ppl with no money to spend, like myself, yes. But a lot of ppl spend tons of money with games and its ok, I think 🤷♂️
thats wayyyy below rookie numbers for some games you know.
I want your car please
lol even 200+ hrs in THIS game is pure cringe ;) this guy is talking nonsense, ITS DIEING. check the numbers. it kinda alrdy dead.
The game is well built and has lots going for it.
What is missing is engagement.
Connectors hinder the game play.
Asterism has now rendered half the game un necessary to play.
Mods like resonance and Burn on Burn mods are useless. NPW. PW , Manibus drops
So what exactly are we playing for now?
Building, mod farming.. waiting for new content?
Been playing for 3 seasons now.
Id like to see these happen;
- Wish machine is cosmetics only.
- Unlimited purification with rewards balanced as needed.
- Blueprints to open the item to craft and leveling based on usage.
- Accessories usability based on weapon levels.
- Add armor accessories
- Mod usability based on item level.
@@TroyGamingtv Thank you. And yes! that is my hopes as well. I am very keen to hear the plans.
@@skirnireta1003 all weather stew is the name gives you 30+resistance
@@skirnireta1003 Heck yeah! I'm going to look this up soon. That would help a lot.
Thank you and Happy new year!
Finally ...a fix for the annoying flickering lights👍
Simple. Make side quests mandatory to unlock some of the game’s content necessary for progression.
If theres a Chaos weaver in the area it will drastically raise or lower the temp depending on which version. That could be whats killing you.
@TroyGamingtv
no ... nothing .. just keep dying so fast for no reason ... even though all gear and food set for heat and cold resist ... will try again today ..
thanks ..
Saw this on reddit but didnt follow it so didnt know the devs responded. I do remember comments saying "Devs dont care bro"
The player dropoff the last 6 months has been insane, I stopped playing after the multiple issues I ran into playing, its quality is starting to speak for itself, its sad because its an amazing game!
Game at launch peaked at 230k. In the last 24 hours, game peaked at 40k. That is an incredible hold since launch.
If they make it into Lovecraftian Pokemon, I'm never gonna stop playing this
6:27 Lunar Oracle is an ingame event, not a Season Szenario no?
@@absolim both. It’s going to be tied to seasonal servers. So you either pick one with or without
Sometimes a break is good idea. I left three months and returned again and I playing a better game. as well as really enjoying myself again.
100% agree. With the longer development time this may be the perfect game to play for a bit then break a few months then come back. V Rising is another like that.
It’s good that they’re increasing the difficulty of the game. I’m in favor of this idea.
Happy new year man
Thanks! Happy New Year!
Damn. No talk about the server lag. What a waste of time and resources to not address the real problem.
Is the car part of the new battlepass?
No, those things will probably always be through loot crates unfortunately.
Sheeesh 1700hrs doing the same thing all over again seasons after seasons is WIIILD
To me
I agree
So they hadn’t really addressed anything, just boiler plate “stay tuned for more!” Replies…. What a waste
when you said they probably bought their cosmetics it made me realize how much of the game is likely a hodgepodge of assets bought and put together into a somewhat functional game.
Nightmare monoliths and silos would be cool
I agree, with better mods and loot!
A big helping of Nothing Burger from the Devs. They really didn't answer any of the concerns really well IMHO.
I agree, but I felt the original post was worth making a video about, even if the answers were generic.
I really love this game but this season I just colected the starchome and made a few builds and left... :(
Same.. I'm going to work on farming mods though until Lunar comes out. I've been slacking hard on those.
what starchrome are you talking about i cant find any :D
@@paradisehavenparadisehaven9657 when you log in you go to the new system and click claim all. They automatically give you all the starchrom for the first two weeks
I left to play Throne and liberty because I didnt want to do Manibus map for the 3rd time and Way of the winter for the second time.
Just say you want more dungeons so they know.
still has wipe?
loading territory when x distance is a HORRIBLE idea because of LOD hackers in prismverse doing just that.
"putting things out as cheap and as fast withut any QA" - WHAT A F GIANT FAILURE!
IF YOU DONT TEST THE GAME DONT BOTHER DEVELOPING IT. PERIOD.
Happy year all
I think the reason why they are taking long to bring new and different content is because they are focusing on the mobile version
Oh that skin that you have both for the car and your character are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Now i want them but i domt have money to buy it 😢
Well, i'm giving away the car at least so you can have a chance at winning that :) I do love the skin though, maybe it will go on sale at some point, they like to rotate sales.
How many item transfer points you get when starting new season?
Bro has 3 characters in one server, preventing others from creating characters and calls himself casual.
@@johnwalker3602 None of the servers I play on are full. so... And only 2 are on the same server. One is on a WoW server.
1700$ in is not a supporter, it's a victim.
It’s a cash extraction shooter. It’s got the bare minimum content that allows them to continue to sell micro transactions. I enjoy the game but I bear no misconception on what it is.
Turning off visual effects from OTHER players will be good, retaining yours will be enough to mantain decent fps.
Me and my spouse love the building aspect and from the looks of the scenarios we been , is a most loved aspect
I'm running at 180% rads with full hp, what are you talking about :()
I love the cosmetics. tho i would like more fitting themes. i dont mind the skins they make as they look really good. i cant understand why other players have so much of an issue with this. when really and truly the only issue with cosmetics is the fact that most skins dont look as good on male characters as they do on female.
Keep asking for higher difficulty until people start leaving the game because it's to difficult for people who got limited time to play.
3k hours in. 6/10 can't really justify keep playing.
The best gaming development EVER is the cash shop. It's never late, all ways has new content to it, and you can all ways get over 60 fps in it.
I quit the game a long time ago I can't stand the server wipe
Sorry but they said by and not on so maybe that's a hint 😅.. i won't expect the fix..
Gosh! i would love to have car like that. Look so cool.
I would like to see a higher challenge mode and for them to allow us to do silo and bosses without the need of controller to claim my rewards
Of course the redditor solely plays pve servers. Who could have guessed a redditor despite having 1700 hours into the game is still a casual
Too bad this game doesnt retain its base at all and the winter season sucks.

I had to laugh at a few of the answers because they were so generic but I think its marketing/translation. I think OH cares about the game but they are probably a little over their head right now with trying to do so much at once. I wish they would just slow down and focus on the current content.
Im new I focus ky self to do farming hide for my team mean most of the op stuff I wont even do.
1700hrs afk in his base, not gonna believe BS like he played all that active hours moving around in the game
Things i dont like is no regional pricing and the fact that black desert online an open world with loading screen runs better on remastered graphics settings than low settings on once human
If they add nightmare mode they better be making the loot worth it or else its just another mode with same loot garbage RNG
Lol I thought my 600 hours and 100 bucks was bad...
Why only 720p ?
Thanks for noticing that.. Not sure, I record at 1440p and upload at 1080p. Now that I have the new PC I should upload at the full 3440x1440.. I do need to look into why TH-cam downgraded the quality though. Appreciate it.
hey man ur title is wrong XD sorry to be thats guy u put 700 hours not 1700 XD
Thanks! Updated.. I probably subconsciously wanted to have more hours played than him :)
Phase 2 => Tower lvl 10 max and normal mobs / Phase 3 => Tower max lvl 20 and small World Boss / Phase 4 => Tower max lvl 30 and big World Boss
Still the game need content and the only way it can survive in the long term is good PvP mod.
How many L takes can one unhinged "former software dev" have LMAO 🤣

How do I win the car skin?
Instructions at the end of the video.. but join discord, go to give-away and click the button to enter. Super easy. Happy new Year and good luck!
yeah the fortnite skins are so not interesting...
to be fair fortnites skins are much cooler lol
just hit 1.500 hours and i agree to all of these suggestions. after 3 season its so boring if you dont make enough friends to play with cause its too easy! we need a NIGHTMARE MODE ASAP and the skins in these game are either too flashy or over sexualized which not all people like including the battlepass which have these goofy skins.

It's cosmetics that are gacha. Devs said no paytowin- get your facts straight @novachannel1981

I disagree I want sexy cosmetics for my character. All these woke dudes who want these woke cosmetics are not going to buy anything. Sex sells!
I prefer the sexy outfits myself.. but I would also like to see more skins that are along the same theme of the game, a lot of them feel generic.. So count me in for sexy themed outfts!
One of the sets that shows the most skin is the most thematic sets in the game, the Test Subject Set.
If there was a way to use crafted armour in a cosmetic slot I would be using that for thematic reasons alone.
well game is failing so bad 90% already quit

reset everything and extend the season 2 times the length.
I didnt say the cure was popular but we all know the game is too easy .
ye I want to see those ppl who would love to run same silos again countless times to get the necessary mods again.. :D 🪦
Yeah no. Losing all the blueprints, mods and deviations and ALL THE STACKS OF SEEDS would be bye bye for many people.
