I just cleaned my clutch master cylinder tiny return bleed hole it was holding just enough pressure on my clutch to make it slip also! the clutch handle was out tight with no play at all. now its much better. the brake master cylinders do that also. they hold the caliper on,
Good video my question is the wavy plate and the spacer wavy behind the clutches . and I was wondering which way it sits in there.i think it was put in backwards my clutch will not disengage. Can you help
like to know how many miles on the old and was there a problem? would have liked to see the old clutch plates for wear! and i do believe that bearing while apart should have been replaced. and how the job came out? thanks, rick
The bearing did not need to be replaced. the bike had 22,000 miles when I changed the clutch. Barnett steel plates better compound discs than stock. Heavy duty clutch springs....I used the heaviest I could find. The bike was like lighning after that and NEVER slipped again since I have done it. Watch the video before making comments
Matt Harrell, thanks for watching. They are made by a company called Mapan.. www.1cruiser.com/sa/cart/detail.asp?pg=%7B76078F4D-1574-4A48-B57D-E45230AE544C%7D You may have to google to find a seller. They are awesome and were not too hard to put on but it did take about 4 hours and they are expensive...good luck
hey i was wonderng what the total of discs wre?is there 2 kinds of discs?im trying to make sure i have all the items i need before i break it down.i use my intruder for my everyday vehicle so i need it to be in running condition for my mon-fri work week
Holy shit! I am trying this on my S50 and I don’t have forward controls. Dropping the pipes is INSANE! DO NOT ATTEMPT. The part he so casually glosses over makes this a nightmare
Great video, which I will save for future clutch change...thanks for doing this.
