    Hi Mollie - At the start of 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Along with changing to a whole food plant-based diet, I started doing yoga every day. Like you, it has led me to mediation, to people like Sadhguru and a feeling of balance and well-being. Sadhguru talks about the instability of our mind and how yoga and mediation stabilises our life. Trust your body and not your mind. I now feel that I live in the present and don't worry about the future. Thanks for sharing your journey and the great yoga you do. I wish I had started at your age.     Doing yoga for a year and a half, everything you've said here rings true. From no longer caring what you look like/not needing to impress, to the feeling of confidence that you've taken on some kind of undertaking, these really are true words. I definitely stand by the belief that everyone should at least have one discipline in their life. For me, yoga has completely changed almost everything. I no longer feel like I need to subscribe to that "hustle" sort of work-out-and-get-super-ripped-in-two-days-time mentality. Yoga is meditating with your eyes open. And we all go at our own pace. I know for me, I still haven't really gotten into too many inversions, although it is something that truly fascinates me, along with other forms of yoga. Yoga cannot be underestimated. It's great.

      I unfortunately had the opposite experience during my yoga teacher training I felt they were very under equipped to deal with people with mental illnesses or different needs. I ended up feeling more self conscious and shamed. I have been trying to find my way back to practise but I just feel like I was spiritually abused by my teachers. I'm unsure if it's safe for me anymore.

    very inspirational! I suffered a back injury in 1997, and I've been crooked for about 20 years. Slowly but surely yoga has helped me stretch and strengthen my muscles to the same length again and I am pain free again. It took years to get here-but the benefits showed immediately. don't give up!

    This was awesome, I've started doing yoga over the last week and I want to commit to it long-term, since it's very grounding for me and I like exploring what my physical limitations are and trying to push past them.     This has really made me happy and inspired me. I also felt the most growth when I just stuck to it... Not doing it to look a certain way but just to show up.

    Thanks so much for uploading, this is actually one of my favorite yoga videos, u did so well! I've been at it for 2 weeks now after going my entire adulthood without ever taking it seriously. Boy was I wrong and happy to discover how incredibly challenging and fun it is. I also LOVE the synergy it has with meditation and Martial Arts, which I have also now taken up. Here's to the start of my journey as well!

    I've never fully committed to a yoga practice but started about 5 years ago. I always wonder how different my life/body would be if I was consistent with it. Very inspired after watching your journey! I would like to take up your challenge :)

    wowwwwww. what a BEAUTIFUL story. I have watched so many " yoga journey videos" on youtube and this is by far the most inspiring for me. You really convey your experience super well and its so good to hear all the mental aspects in your life yoga has helped as well as the physical.     This is super impressive to achieve on your own (without going into studios). I went into the studio (for about 11 months) gradually from 1-2 times a week, to 5-6 times a week, and sometimes 2 hours a day. I'm not as pliable as OP here but yoga made me so much stronger and my arms are so chiseled, and now I have abs! And yes, my neck and back are very very healthy -- but if I stopped yoga, my back pain comes back lolz.

    I’m an Indian, belonging to the land of Yoga. We were taught Yoga in school in the initial years.. 4-5 years of schooling. Didn’t know the importance back then.
    Relearnt and resumsed after 15-16 years with more understanding and felt amazing. I still do but not regularly and your video has inspired me.
    I have learnt Ashtanga Yoga. Just for information, Yoga is not only about aasanas (the postures), it’s way more than that! ❤

    I am adding myself to the list of inspired people! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your video. I lost about 45lbs about two and a half years ago its creeping back very slowly. I'm trying to find my "place in the fitness world", and it's been hard. I love strength training, but have been very inconsistent with it. I've never loved yoga, but maybe it's time to give it another shot! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story!

    I started doing yoga in 2018 and had the same experience. I got randomly head hunted to be a yoga instructor after just 3 1/5 months of practice on a studio and I said yes. I just loved it so much, it was a blessing that my soul was screaming for without me knowing. It was like coming home in my body and quite the mind. Pure magic, it made med totally change over the past years. I got super sensitive, intuitive, more and more Spiritual (hehe without trying ) and stopped hanging out with 99% of old friends, bc I did not resonate with them anymore. I felt like i was born again. Now I have found my soulmate and new friend’s that I vibe with are finding its way to my life. Yoga is a portal to really know thyself

    GIRL, This is so inspiring! I myself have constant low-high moods sinusoida and struggling with low energy and sometimes even anxiety. This autumn-winter was hard and maybe it was with me even before that time.
    Even though I do know that there is somewhere inside the person I really dream of being. I know I'm constantly changing and perceiving things but I never had something so much stable. Now I was coming back to exercising but watching you I feel like starting this 50days yoga challange just to do something every day and gain that inner power I'm really looking for this year!

    Omg, I love this so much! I took up yoga to help me lose weight and improve my mental health. 3 years later of doing it daily, it's all about the mental health and power I'm building. Lol, I shaved my head too!

      hair holds all your spiritual power ...so i am confused why are u people shaving heads??? in ancient India sages never cut their hair . How is cutting hair related to mental health and power? I just want to know your perspective

    You're right. This resonates with me. While not exactly the same but general themes - yoga started to give me more confidence, awareness and I started to sense a vibe for my thoughts and actions which has led to big changes in my habits, health and lateral thinking.

    Thanks for sharing your experience! I am a big fan of Boho Beautiful and have been doing their workouts for 15 months now. Started with 3 times a week. Now do it every day. Totally agree with you - it became more about how far I can go challenging myself.

    I like the way you explore the postures. It's so refreshing to see someone go on a journey of discovery with the postures. There are people who try to be very regimented about their practice, and if that's what they want that's fine, but I think it can be so much more fun to explore this stuff with an open mind.

    Wow thank you very very much for your Video. I've done yoga for 44 days in a row now and I stopped because I've pushed myself too hard to do the poses I can't do and got severe shoulder pain. I've paused for almost 2 weeks now and your video motivated me to do another 50 days with respect to my body in what I can do and what not. Thank you very much 😊

    Excellent! I did it kind of the other way around! I started meditation about 2.5 years ago. Only got into yoga and Pilates about a month ago. Learnt the hard way about who I need in my life and what including possessions and money! Made a zen/feng shui garden, my hair is super short now too lol, and my natural hair colour! Keep it up x

    I recently began the yoga teacher journey, and it has awakened something in me, that I have never felt before.     Really good. You change from the mindset you had, into being occupied with doing a better yoga session. That builds and you offload all the negative thought processes which were trapping you before. Thanks for sharing this. I have being doing basic yoga for a few months. 10 mins to 40 mins normally every day. It's surprising what simple things you can't do. But I found the same benefits. 🙏☺️

    Very motivational video. I just started comitting to challenge myself to do yoga each day this month (May). Because an inflamed achilles heel I can't run/workout much and I'm also going through a quite stressful professionally, so building up a solid yoga practice might just be what I need. I"m calling it "NamasMay", wish me luck !

    I will always say this. With any form of discipline (but for me, working out in all its different forms and yoga), it is usually always the worst for the first two to three day's/or two to three times you try, especially if you are doing it all in quick succession. Push through it. It pays off.

    I gave me a present for 2022. I signed me up to Yoga Teacher training. Currently I am making a challenge swimming in winter in ice cold water a whole February, but I have already decided to take this challenge and do Yoga every day whole March. I have also watched a lot of videos about this kind of challenges and I really love to hear everyone stories, and I Loved to hear Yours! Very inspiring! Thank You! I hope that I also find it very addictive so I manage to continue a whole year (at least) ;D

I am new to yoga it’s very challenging for me so I guess that’s what I need it does slow me down so I get in touch with myself rather than plowing through weightlifting or any other type of exercise I actually feel this will work slowly and I’m ok with that.     Yoga is a philosophy and a life style wich involves the body, not a work out. And that's why we can find many yogis getting upset that yoga is being propagated as an exercise, you can even find it in gyms nowadays. Even though l understand some yogis getting mad about it, l appreciate yoga getting the attention, cause it doesn't necessitate gurus, the practice itself will show the path for the ones who need it, and you are a very good example for this. Thanks for sharing your story. 🙏

I recently encountered a yoga teacher with just such an attitude, I told her I wanted to try yoga to help with some health conditions and she became quite irritated and started on a holier than thou sermon about how yoga isn't there to help you get or stay healthy and if that is why you want to practise yoga then you are not welcome in her class, she only wants to teach people who want to reach enlightenment through yoga. I feel that that sort of teachers and yogis can really turn beginners off of somthing which could be so good for them.

    Well done Wild Mollie. I’m not a yogi but definitely have a 10min full body flow I do daily. It’s a wonderful feeling to have an open body. I think girls look great when they do yoga daily all toned, they don’t need weights. you look great too Mollie👏👏👏

    I've been following boho beautiful for almost three years... It is my favourite and almost only channel for yoga. At first, I was really amazed by my "detailed" progress, just like how you described yours!! But last year, I feel stuck and I can't progress. So far I still cannot do many poses I want to do and haven't stepped into them. I hope I can make it this year! And I resonate with you so much. Thank you for posting and sharing it!     Yes! Like everyone says, your video is so inspiring. I used to practise yoga every day but I just simply started dragging my feet about it, because I would get bored because I always did the same poses. I will try it again and try livening it up a bit by doing different poses every day, following TH-cam videos. Also you listen to other people who will tell you that yoga by itself isn't enough to stay in shape, you need to lift weights you need to do hardcore calisthenics etc. etc.

    Right on with your journey! Sjana Elise is also another TH-cam yogi that you may enjoy! Leslie on Gymra- does a yogalaties- which you may like as well although she is challenging! I’ve been doing hot yoga since 2002 and transitioned into TH-cam yoga practices when I moved to Maui. I feel having your own practice is the way to go! Keep doing what you do! Aloha!
