  • @davidvila5053

    The price difference is not that much atm. Not 300-400$+ by any means. It's true that 10-12+ fps isn't a big deal but in some games 3060 Ti has around +25% performance in comparison. I guess it depends on the games you usually play. Both cards are top 1080p cards anyway and will stay strong for many years on that resolution.

    • @joebenson528
      @joebenson528 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's all dependent on engine. Doom's id Tech 7 is the best game engine if you want to test GPUs with minimal influence from other variables (ie CPU).

    • @Joscraft_05
      @Joscraft_05 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I think... Usually the big difference is when you play the type of games you get a good performance (+100 FPS average or similar) And exceptions like the occasional triple AAA that is very much in favor of the 3060 Ti. But *really* is not very bad how people say of the 3060. In any case, the difference will always be in the price and the resolution of your monitor, if you are a 1080p/60 or a 1080p/144 user go to the 3060 if you find it cheap, now if you are a 1440p user is better to save more money to the 3060 Ti.

      Thats exactly what I've been responding to alot of people about. Older cards can last a literal DECADE (12 years on my gtx950 but my prebuilt with a 3060 comes in on Tuesday!) and people are looking only at the NOW. Thats the consumers worse problem, they dont look at longevity, just what looks good right in front of them. The 3060 will be around long after the rest become obsolete due to Vram shortage. xD and if you compare the power of a 3060 to a gtx 950 you'd laugh how the power difference, its insane people really think you need anything past a 1080ti to be "relevent" in gaming, when i've been rocking PvP with a gtx950 all this time. I plan to keep this 3060 for another 10 maybe even 20 years! Unless I come into more money... then ima just MAXIMIZE. haha

    Clear and unlimited visibility with a lot of clearly visible ground detail at 1500 - 2000' AGL, being viewed from outside the aircraft, (especially buildings, cities, roads, and other ground details that are non-repetative, as opposed to trees, lawns, etc. which are essentially one object being repetitively applied), and let's see what happens!

    To clear up the confusion regarding the amount of VRAM on these two GPU's.
    Yes, the 3060 has more VRAM compared to the TI variant, but it runs on a slower memory buswidth:
    RTX 3060, 12GB: 192 bit/s
    RTX 3060ti, 8GB: 256 bit/s
    Add to that the extra CUDA cores, RT and Tensor cores = the 3060ti outperforming the 3060.

    This is another perfect example of people arguing over needing 16 gigabytes of VRAM to play video games on PC today. The higher-end card here has 4GB of vram less than the lower end card. And it still comes out on top.
    And sadly enough these are Big TH-cam Tech channels that are complaining about having last vram than amd's 6700 XT or 6800 XT.
    I've said it a million times and I'll say that million times more, the amount of vram used on AMD cards works with their architecture and is required for them to achieve the numbers that they get in games because the way they engineer their cards. Nvidia uses less vram because they don't need that much vram to accomplish High numbers with their architecture. They're Engineers are used to achieving high grade framerates with less resources.

      From a business perspective... if ima give a worse card the power to be used far longer than the better card, and still have it at a cheaper price... I will see no issue here. You're telling yourself exactly what you don't want to here. The 3060 might have an unnecessary amount of Vram NOW, but in 5-10 years ( unless you're one of those "gotta needlessly have the latest and the greatest!" kind of ppl ) you'll be wishing you had a 3060 when your previous 3000series card is unusable for the games you want to play like ppl who keep mentioning cyberpunks 7.5 vram requirement already in existence, as a budget gamer of 8-15 years without wanting to upgrade components. ( currently on Year 12 myself and finally upgrading my entire pc for the next 10+ years of gaming.)

    Hello
    The RTX 3060ti performed significantly better in the stats than the normal one.
    I am now wondering how much the ram is because the ti has 8GB and the standard version has 12GB
    What is better for games now.
    I currently have a 6GB RAM card and it is noticeable, for example: AC Origin, that I can hardly turn up anything because the RAM cannot handle it.
    How does that compare to RTX 3060ti vs RTX 3060?

    • @authoritymammedov6093
      @authoritymammedov6093 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      nowadays most games dont demand that much vram in games, thats why RTX 3060TI is definitely better. But on the future (after 3-4 years), it can be not enough for ultra resolutions. But RTX 3060 is very good nowadays too. Decision can be about how long you wanna use and how much you can pay for them

      im no expert but... 3060 fucking sucks. Its just 2060s with better performance in video editing and things like that. And the 12gb of vram... ik why they did it, because they planned to go with 6, but then amd had marketed their absurd amount of vram, so nvidia had only option, give it 2x the vram, but it still boils my blood, since we have shortages of memory. They should have go with performance between 2070/2070s, then everyone would be happy. Personally, i would take 3060 ti over 3060.

      it's prbbly because RAM on Ti seems to be clocked lower, hance it loads new assets slower which results in short dips. according to specs Ti has better RAM bus & bw, that's why they put less of it which is not an issue for now since current games seem to be at ~8gb anyway. so either something is throttling the RAM or it's because there are more physical RAM chips on non-Ti - there are more mem controllers working in parallel which helps to load assets faster.

When newer more graphically demanding games come out that might exceed the 8GBs of the Ti, will the regular 3060 actually end up delivering better performance with it's 12gb of VRam? Will the 3060 be more stable and future proof than the 3060Ti?

    The 3070 is on par with the 2080TI. The 3060, should be about on par with the 2070S, but can barely compete with the 2060S (which is extremely close to the 2070). This is a joke of a card. I could buy one right now but I'd rather not be stupid.

      3070 Is not on par It Is same level As rtx 2080ti Is or slightly less powerful Than 2080ti

      Yea, Turing cards weren't as weak afterall. Many people underestimated their rasterised power.

    I love your videos,
    you just cut all the bullshit other people speak,
    and just showcase some good AAA games, and let the viewers decide.......

    can't see the worth to pay 30% more to get just 10+fps(10-15%) in most games

    How did you get all the 30 series gpu and In fact he has the entire stock of rtx 30 series in his pc it means the nvidia made only 1rtx 3060 , 3060 ti, 3070 , and 3080 and 3090

    3060 Ti is amazing, definitely good for the price and performance.

      But unfortunately only 8 GB. That will soon become a bottleneck. This is already causing the 3060 to deliver more stable frame rates in certain configurations.

      @@blackthorne3004 I usually play old games because of inflation in Turkey. So actually 8 VRAM is enough for me at least.

    I wonder if later in the future maybe in 3-5 years if the 3060 will outperform the 3060 ti when games require more vram?

    • @tonyv1796
      @tonyv1796 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      in certain situations such as high resolution and ultra textures when going for 60fps the 3060ti already stutters due to the vram (i have one). not that i think the 3060 will ever outperform the 3060ti, the vram amounts should have been the opposite. it makes no sense.

      It will not.

    • @DanielOfRussia
      @DanielOfRussia 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tonyv1796 They couldn't have given 8Gb to the 3060 due to dog 192-bit memory width. Not sure if 3060Ti's 256-bit would be compatible with 12Gb either, but whatever.

    • @joebenson528
      @joebenson528 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Games will not go over 8GB of Vram unless you play 4k at max settings. Anything over 8GB is a waste of money if you only play at 1080p/1440p. Plenty of benchmarks on YT prove this.

    • @Daniel-ru8je
      @Daniel-ru8je 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont think so, cuz for all that vram to be used you would have to play in highr res (4k) and 3060 isnt really enough to play 4k at stable framerate, making the extra vram not really useful.
      That changes if you do things lik e render in blender, the more vram would be useful.
      Also note that 3060 ti's vram is faster

    I was buying 3060 for 830$ in my country and 3060 Ti tbh really more expensive is about 1040$ same price to 3070, in my opinion 3060 still better than nothing for the price like now only to get 10-30% more FPS in every game
