  • Choosing the right equipment for creating deer trails and food plots in the woods depends on the type of ground, the amount and size of trees, and how much area you have to clear out. This video explains how to decide what equipment works best for your situation.

One of the only videos I’ve watched so far that I could watch and take things away to put on my own property

Just had about a half miles of trails mulched on my 40 a few weeks ago. I am very pleased. This video has shown me how to make even more improvements on the future. Great video.

Nice video ive been looking for. I've been cutting trails in hopes of having a mulcher come clean up the stumps this reassured me im doing the right thing. Appreciate the content!!

Great points on each method of dealing with access on people's property! Soil vegetation terrain or moisture levels are all factors in land clearing! Great short video!

Hard to believe that hunters used to go out in the woods and hunt deer without one of these, isn't it? They didn't bait deer with piles of vegetables and sugar beets, didn't wait in cozy deer blinds, either. Hunting was called hunting because that's what we did.

0:44 already impressed and I usually dont like the idea of just "trampling on nature". Rather make the path more respectfully but I could see using this.

Great video of just one more thing I would love to have access to, but I cannot afford it. I guess I will have to stick to a chain saw and a weed eater.

We have a long edge that bucks sent check EVERYTHING. And a river bottom that both could use a lane to encourage/guide buck travel. Insert a licking branch(singular) within shot range, and I’m 100% on board. Thanks for the video. I’m inspired to promote some lanes!

@@SeeMoreBucks Well, my dad (85 yrs old) is the only one that’s gonna chain saw and brush hog any trees and new lanes. He’s……stubborn. I’m just letting him run his own show until he moves on. He’s a tough old cowboy-
I’d still love to see him expand his lanes and dive into his “sanctuary “ .

Iv hired mulchers several times ,they are the berries for honey suckle and small bushes,BUT, if you dont want your young quality trees gone then you better mark them, most operators don't know one from the other, and stuff 3inches or bigger you WILL have a stump sticking up and it will sprout back ,in one season the area will look like an over grown turnip patch. Most operators will tell u it will grind it below the top ,it will not,if it does it will destroy the machine and teeth are very expensive and a pain to put on😁

  • @jordannijjar5414

You should try a Promac Equipment mulcher :)

wish i would have hired a mulcher.... the dozer made a mess...2500 budget, which don't get ya much, but think i messed up the land even more now. It was a pass thru 45acres but now not sure Mr.Big will even stick his nose on property.

How much for a mid Michigan consultation$? 80 acres flat with one border being a road, very thick, lower timber value. Would love options of future progression , stand location , food plot programs etc.
    Thanks for all the content.
