I am newly creating content from concerts, so I need a great camera, great battery life and speed! I stayed until the end and think I will go for the max instead based on the battery life, thank you for that follow up!
I just upgraded from the 13 to 16 pro max, gotta say I made the right choice.... I think for those people who are still in the 13 base model it is time to upgrade, but for those who got the 14 or 15 models it is not worth the money nor the upgrade unless you just wanna spend money.

I got a deal on Verizon where they give me a 16 pro with a trade for my 13 with $1k credit (256gb version) so for me it was a 3 year jump and a free phone with Apple one included. Pretty sweet. Definitely looking forward to it. Hard to work without a constant signal. T-Mobile just doesn’t exist out here.
great video! the picture at t 13:01 is a great example of the brightness difference in photos if you look at the 16 pro at the Sunlight behind the rightmost sky scraper. I always feel like photos never do what I'm seeing IRL justice, but it looks like the 16 pro gets close here. great photography too!

Great video bro, 💯 you'll notice a difference between the 2. The 16pro is freaking amazing, no joke. But if you're used to 60hz, i say get the 16 plus saving yourself $300 bucks & getting an incredible battery life.

I have a 13 as a second device. Question re the display brightness. When does the 1200 nits kick in? I understand the outdoors auto peak brightness reaches 800 nits ( the same as its maximum manual brightness if auto brightness turned off) Does the 1200 nits just apply to HDR content?
The pro res log mode looks washed out because it is designed for video editing apps to enhance colours to preference. I found based on your pics though that the iPhone 13 was better quality and less washed out than the iPhone 16 pro in raw mode
In fairness you should've compared 13 pro to 16 pro tho. I have the 13 pro and I ordered the 16 pro. 13 pro was good trade in value which is partly why I don't wait too too long. The 13 pro doesn't get A I so that's also a factor
I have switched between pro and non pro phones over the years and I have to say I have always appreciated the pro phones a lot more over the years pound for pound when it comes to pro vs non pro I do really think you get what you pay for, with that said if all your looking for in a phone is to utilize it as a phone or a tool to scroll through social media and or emails ect then I would stick with the non pro phones, if you are looking to use it as a tool for work, digital creation, or even gaming then the pro would be a little more up your alley, I would love to comment on the differences in AI functionality but as of right now its really hard to say as we haven't gotten a full roll out of AI functionality as of yet and probably won't get the full roll out until sometime at the beginning of next year is my guess
After watching this video I realized that the upgraded is not worth it at all! the video in both devices looks the same, pictures the same, battery about the same. apple needs to get it together.
Oh makes sense now. I got a 15 Pro because (2 months before 16 was released) and I had 13 Pro & 14 Pro as options. Since I have a S22 the 15 Pro made sense for my photography and video content (Cinematic mode is boss) and also it's Type C so my existing cables and tools work. But def get the 16 for future proofing

It’s a decent leap. The 120Hz display is nice and the camera improvements are great but for general use it’s basically the same phone

yes as i understand it, the peak is for HDR content. I'd have to recheck in case I'm wrong
