I have to say if given the choice, I think I’d be OK with the slightly bigger battery and slightly slower fast charging because at the end of the day, the bigger battery ultimately means more battery life, depending on your usage style and the fact that you can still get a full charge in well under an hour is still a really good plus so getting the variant with a bigger battery and slightly slower fast charger actually makes more sense in my opinion. Other than that I have to agree with you. It’s really good to see that the under display camera technology is getting quite good even though it’s not quite there yet. I always wondered what is the point of reducing bezels if we had to put a hole in an an otherwise beautiful display. It's really one of the most stupid trend that I have seen in the technology space recently. Thanks to Nubia they are trying well to give an uninterrupted display. ❤
I will take 6500 mah and 80 watt charging the extra ram could make a small difference but if you buy the 12 gb you'll be fine all games should run great

I feel nubia has nailed all the fundamentals like battery, screen, speakers, performance and pricing. Add to that a headphone jack and IR blaster, I love the choices they made. I don't care a whole lot about selfie camera quality anyways. If only they released it at a great price in India and provided equally good software updates like Samsung and Google. I also think the custom rom development for nubia is way less when compared to the likes of OnePlus. These are my minor gripes. I really hope Nubia takes these aspects into account as well someday before it's too late.

Due to the newer Adreno and Gen 3 SnapDragon Yuzu stability is iffy right now, I'd give it around a month or so before things settle. There are constant updates thanks to the hardworking devs so it may be shorter, please remember to consider other phones. Always take ALL your needs and preferences into consideration even the small ones.
I don't play games on phone because i do pc and ps5 games But i will get this phone for how it looks, flat screen, great display, that's going to be great for watching and good performance for emulator old games
If the put a flagship camera on one of these phones (10x optical zoom, good low light quality, etc), i would buy it in an instant, even if it was more expensive.

You know I’m all about that RAM, bout that RAM!!! Even though I feel like the plus version of the phone should come with everything, the bigger battery and the larger amount of RAM.
the "useless" macro is a breath of fresh air! as a IT tech, there are many times i try to get a closeup of some tiny print that's buried inside a server case...this would help with allot of frustrations i have with current "macro" settings! Along with a return to sanity headphone jack (something that has kept me on a Samsung note9). If only they had an SD card expansion and wireless charging, this would be my new phone!! Also kinda weird that the max ram versions get a smaller mAh battery, but i'm guessing its something to do with the rapid charging, and not wanting a "note 7" experience (see Samsung getting put on the no-fly list for a bit). Maybe the next gen will add at least SD cards...cuz 512 is tiny with a massive MP video camera (and no, i don't use cloud bs, i like maintaining custody of my own media).

Headphone jack, IT blaster and performance comparable to the lower end of laptops, all for $800 - this puts everything else on the market to shame. This is the innovation I want to see in the mobile computing space, not another useless camera or paper-thin phones. If the price of foldable displays can be reduced, this is the kind of phone I expect to replace the laptop.

make a leader board with fortnite fps cuz its the heaviest game so far ...we gamers used to watch tests from goldren reviews genshin inpact fps test but the game is not that heavy on modern phones and they all get close to 60 fps if u start a fortnite leaderboard u will be the only one for gamers to go for

I think thats the gamesir x2 pro, if you are looking to get one go with the g8 mate... its more ergonomic imho... if you wanna not spend a lot... the bsp d8 is a good deal.. the d9 feels better

just a quick note... the d8 feels pretty cheap.. but its like $20... for the price its awesome... the d9 is launching now and it's got the playstation portal kinda look... better ergonomics... I'd expect it to be the cheaper gamesir g8....

Prefer more battery, i don't trust fast charging, my poco x3 pro used to die whenever I charged it and idr how fast it charged but ik it was a pretty tame number, so imagine how i feel about 165w

Headphone jack, IT blaster and performance comparable to the lower end of laptops, all for $800 - this puts everything else on the market to shame. This is the innovation I want to see in the mobile computing space, not another useless camera or paper-thin phones. If the price of foldable displays can be reduced, this is the kind of phone I expect to replace the laptop.
