I've watched you and reckless from the time you brought it into the garage until now. I've seen the heartache that followed you in this build. Especially the rust issue after the body shop friend !!! This has been a long build ( definitely a labor of love) for you and your help. Too any all of the folks watching .. spread the word on this build this man deserves it. He has been in and under this car for if I'm correct 7yrs or so ?? You do so much for us when you show us all of your wins and failures. Everyone makes mistakes . Thank you so much for the educational content.

I took my dash frame off as well and like yourself in an attempt to make it better I removed rust through a labor intensive process and then epoxy primer and painted black…. As I am watching your video I am wondering if I shot myself in the foot disabling a possible frame ground….. what say you?

Sir good morning. You can always , clean up, scratch or scrape of the spot where you need to connect your ground. I just used a Eastwood Diamond Clear which is also a rust preventive carries by Eastwood. th-cam.com/video/6V1rQxti9OA/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MCSCGREENWHEELS

Clean up or scrape up the spot you want to apply your ground, as long as it is clean and metal to metal you will have a good ground.

These horns from LMR sound great, thinking of picking up your kit and swapping out my horns which don't sound great. I think I know why but will do some testing once our weather improves here. Thanks. Fantastic video for anyone currently building, it would have saved me lots of sweat and tears when I was building my car. Lessons learned though. What year are you working on?

It is a 1993 Ford Mustang GT. The reason for the detailed videos is because a lot of our time was spend doing research where we could not find answer to things. Once we find the answer the video is documented and we do not think anyone will watch it. Since it is a technical stuff, and youtube does not recommend channel that does not have half naked women. I hope you swap your horn at least now you know from our experience that what we got works.

@@mcscgreenwheels Yes I did finally get my new horns installed on my Cougar and they sound just like yours in the video. I found that when the guys were helping me put this car together they installed the wrong horns and they were mismatched. They sounded horrible bc the hi and lo were not in tune with each other as they should be. The new parts come in a Ford labeled box, so you know they are good and made in USA even though I am in Canada, Ha Ha!

@@KarsNGuitars I am very glad to hear that you finally installed your new horns and they sound great. The horn is a great safety device. Thanks for updating us.
